As righteousness is pursed and God is discovered....

And......, since God is Infinite, ...we'll be learning "about" Him for all Eternity, ...which means "discovering" new things about Him, for all Eternity, so, ...we who have Faith in Jesus Christ and have "received" the righteousness of God Rom3:22, ...will be becoming "more" Righteous throughout Eternity...

How big is our God?

Mind blowing, ...isn't it...

Yes, I do agree and it is mind blowing... But such a future awaits His beloved...

The “more” righteous I see as a deeper degree of righteousness which we will be continually   brought into...

For I see righteousness as the counting of numbers. For regardless of how high one counts, there is still an eternity of numbers that can still be counted...I see the expression of righteousness the same way, regardless of how much has been expressed, there is still an  infinite amount or degree that can still be discovered and expressed..... Which in turn means there will forever be a deeper degree of God we will be discovering...

It is mind blowing to see we have such a good and great and awesome God as this......

I believe it is even to the deeper degrees of life that can be experienced and expressed.... Meaning that to the degree one has Christ formed in them in the time of this life to that degree will they be able to experience life for all eternity....For God (Christ) is the expression of life and him who as more of Christ has a deeper degree of life .... (I believe I see such as being true)...

So to Him be our all, be blessed in growing into Him the more...

And to compress that into just one word, "Faith,"

...the lack of, ... which was the "only" thing Jesus ever chided His disciples for.

I believe Faith wil be the "lingua franca" of Eternity, ...the more we have the more we will be able to experience of/with our God.

In my bizarre way of thinking, ...it took Jesus the best part of the day to walk from Jerusalem to Emmaus, ...then He returned to the upper room in a "split" second, ...was the locomotion of His human body "Faith," ...did He "think" where He wanted to go and He was there?

If so, our glorified body will be like His...

Even more mind blowing...

I believe Eternity will be a constant "mind blowing" experience with our God!

Interesting understanding of faith... Worth chewing on before  God...For God is leading and teaching one in this way, one in another, all leading to Himself...

Yes, our God is that good and that mind blowing, such is He Himself... :)

John 1:3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made.

John 3:35 The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand.

Rom. 11:36   For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.

28 Now when all things are made subject to Him, then the Son Himself will also be subject to Him who put all things under Him, that God may be all in all.

2Cor. 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 18 Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation,

Eph. 1:10 that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth—in Him. 11 In Him also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of Him who works all things according to the counsel of His will,

Eph. 3:9 and to make all see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the ages has been hidden in God who created all things through Jesus Christ;

Eph. 4:10 He who descended is also the One who ascended far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)

Eph. 4:15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—

Col. 1:16 For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18 And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.

Rom. 6:9 knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no longer has dominion over Him.

Rev. 21:1 Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.

Rev. 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Rev. 22:3 And there shall be no more curse, but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him.

I think that these scriptures among other paint a picture for us of a universal reconciliation that we have been called to take part in and that will continue in a very real way throughout eternity.

Before the rebellion, things were a certain Way. Jesus Christ the Son of God and His Church, His bride, His companions are the agency that the Father has determined to accomplish this through all of the ages to come.

I believe that there will be naturally born humans in the 'fresh universe' being born and never dying and that part of our job will be to bring them up into the fullness of God. We are going to be very busy for all eternity as the new universe is filled with His Fulness.

THe Father's Eternal Purpose, I believe, was/is to share His Being---to have a family---a very very large family that will move 'into' His Largeness.

The Son---made the Way for this.

"You will see the Heavens opened".

Those words jumped out at me. Forgive me if I am misunderstanding you. Do you believe even those cast into the lake of fire, even including satan and the fallen angels, will ultimately be reconciled to God?

Thanks in advance.

That isn't what I was saying, Gideon---but here it goes---I would not be surprised at something like that. It has occurred to me.

One thing is for sure and that is that our current point of view is very very limited.

However things play out, "all things will be summed up in Him". I can imagine a few different scenarios.

Hi my. brother. I asked because long ago, the pastor I had began to preach universal reconciliation, where even satan would be won over. It caused quite a stir and ended with him having to resign. Truthfully, in my heart, I would rejoice if God's grace was destined to even bring satan himself back in the fold, but it seems God has given us understanding only up to a certain point and we are to react based solely upon that understanding.

Thanks for your reply. Be blessed, my friend

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
