The Social Justice Movement is actually Marxism by another name. Reportedly the brains behind the BLM insurgency is a group of Marxists. They want revolution and they want it now, but what they are getting is instability and intolerance.

I think maybe, Equippers, and most Americans that may have finally figured this out,  are only about a half century too late.
The infection started after WWII, in the fifties, family break up, divorces, and  gained root in the sixties/seventies, and spread like wildfire.
And today many that wonder what has happened, have had their heads buried in the sand, ignoring the signs, misled
on major TV network social brain washing fake news, newspapers and communications, and late nite dessert with Netflix.
And all those who sent their kids to government run agenda indoctrinating farms called/disguised "public schools"
All what you see with the radicals on the streets taking over "today" has already happened before, and way worse. 1966-68 and seventies.
But the history is kept in the dark, and the history books are getting darker, every year.
Any survivor from a  communist/socialist take over of their countries, have warned us, and know it's getting closer when school books are sanitized,  the signs like changing visible history starts with the removal of historic statues/plaques of  great patriotic country statesmen, and creating a shame in order to erect/promote their new ideologies.

A buddy and I were senior high school drop outs (65) (PTL), joined the Marines in Texas, infantry training in San Diego Calif  in 66, then  two tours VN.  Hit the
west coast again shipping out overseas 66, return 67, back out 67, return 68. All in/through California..........
Spent time in LA, San Diego, San Francisco,  Haight-Ashbury birthplace of the 1960s radical counterculture movement, intro 'hippies' at that time.
The radicals used the 'peace-love-pacifist-poor hippies as their shoe horn into a forefront media movement takeover.
Those there that saw the movement can say, you had to be there to believe it. The whole counter culture 'hippie' monger fanatics movement
descended there, and with them all the faster birth pangs of the monster you live in today coming into full grown adulthood.
The Viet Nam war (when stopping communist aggression was real) was the catalyst to storm the streets, tear down and take over. What you see today is nothing compared to what happened back then. Politicians did not want to win the war, just prolong it, as an economic booster,
paid with the blood of patriotic naive young men boys.
And those returning veteran boys were the scapegoats, to inflict  upon them built up hatred of "American aggression" on foreign soil, that the politicians created.
Their welcome home from war conflict parade, confetti was eggs tomatoes and rocks to hurl over the fences.  Our heros welcome......
Those hippies/radicals that burned draft cards and fled to Canada for years, about a half a million-500,000 vs ( 58,000+/- Viet Nam deaths) and were given amnesty  by our great 'Christian' peanut farmer president, and those that  came back home  flooded the teaching/education industry, universities, energetically creating their new radical agendas upon college students who became teachers and university faculty  members that taught your kids for decades, and today still!!.
I eventually met my wife back then, God got hold of us and were saved, , started a family, sent kids to small town country public school early eighties.
I was listening to Christian radio every day on job site radio, and heard talk about what was being found out with the curricula being used in public school.
When discovered it was true in our kids school, we pulled them out, kinder and third grade, and home schooled them. In 1981, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) banned home schooling. It was illegal in Texas, and Christian school principals put in jail, and home school parents were threatened. Home schoolers formed together, w/christian attorneys, fought the case (the Leeper case) and won eventually. Texas went from worst HS laws to the best, and all fifty states now have adopted same  Texas laws created. The point in all this excess info is to say that during all this time, my wife and I gathered much information about what was going on in the public schools that's contrary to God's plan for raising up a child, and would bring to church to pass out to help the uninformed.
Waste of time/paper.
Even with proof, nobody was interested. If  they believed, it would mean a radical change in their lifestyle. Mom stay at home and only one income,
cannot afford the new home/car social crowd, and who is going to teach, not me. Can't afford private/christian school, and maintain lifestyle.
We couldn't get any interest in voting drives, grass root groups or tea party participation. But the hands on home school groups, even prior to the internet, were well organized, snail mail, across the country, with poll watchers and legislative hot lines that would inform us across the country to flood the ph lines in Washington political lines to actually shut them down from the responses. Politicians didn't like us, but took the home schoolers seriously.
We were involved, and it felt good. It felt, right..
We since passed the baton to our kids, and got used to the countries lethargy, Clinton's and O'Bummer,
and remembered Bob Dylan's tune, the times they are changing.

My apologies to you Equippers, but I believe what you are warning about has already happened.
The real enemy has the pieces in place, all throughout this country, appointed and elected, and tenured.
But God is still on the throne. And He has dealt with worse.
This country deserves our best stewardship. God has blessed us beyond measure, as some few actually realize.
Guess everybody's lost hope, now, and just waitin on the rapture.   Watchmen sleeping sickness, maybe?

I was in university in the early '90's and it was already pretty left leaning especially in the arts and social sciences (this was in Canada as well, so it's already left of most Americans). The hard sciences and engineering are hardly an issue.

it seems the only people willing to stand up and fight for what they believe in anymore, are those who don't know exactly what it is they believe or what they are fighting for, and hence you see the violence, the rioting, and the stupidity. Those that know what they believe and what they should be fighting for are either to busy fighting among themselves, or are to cowardly to get out from behind their computer desk, but would rather whine about it on facebook and expect someone else to fix their problems for them.

Perhaps things are not what  they seem. I am encouraged especially after honoring the graduates of 2020 yesterday  along with the entire local church body. They are great warriors of our lord. Almost all of them are going into some form of government management, criminal law, and or law enforcement. Wow I was quite surprised. I now have seen the faces of the very near future that know our Lord and are on fire for sharing  of the gospel of our Lord Jesus as they prepare to deal with an  unsaved world environment. They are not unwitting  nor will they be unprepared.  That is great hope and strong promise in what I have seen being raised up by  families today. God is blessing us with these  young warriors. Please join in prayer each day  for them. There must be many elsewhere too!

No, they really have no idea...they think they do but they really don't. Those who fight with a cause have clear cut goals and agendas, and a plan to get them. These so called social justice warriors don't...they're just lashing out at anything, and everything. They're rioting and looting businesses that have nothing to do with their cause.

As far as what I'm doing? Well I could give you a long list. However, I'm not Because it's not going to add to this conversation. You attempting to make this personal will only side track the conversation and end up getting people banned from the post.

That is wonderful, I am always happy to hear when good men and women are stepping up to be active in our communities
