I live in melbourne australia  and I believe that I have demon in me. melbourne is currently in a lockdown. I am in a hospital and I am not allowed visits, not even by a Christian chaplan.
my understanding is that for someone to expel the demons out of me they would have to see me in person.

So what do I do?

Demons don't like God being praised and worshipped, so make sure all your spiritual armour is in place and for the rest of your life give as much time and effort as you can to praising and worshipping God, calling on the name of Jesus Christ to whom all of Satan's cohort must submit and flee if you resist them and want them gone forever, never to return whilst you are filled with the Holy Spirit.

Eph 6:10-18  Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.  (11)  Put on the whole armour of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.  (12)  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.  (13)  Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.  (14)  Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;  (15)  And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;  (16)  Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.  (17)  And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:  (18)  Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

SPIRITUAL ARMOUR

?Helmet of Salvation = Thoughts Free of Condemnation.

?Breastplate of Righteousness = Heart Full of Godliness.

?Girdle of Truth = Covering Secured by Living Proof.

?Footwear of the Preparation of the Gospel of Peace = Stability in Readiness to Preach.

?Shield of Faith = Protection Impenetrable because of Belief.

?Sword of the Spirit = Attack Effectual with the Word that is Perfect.

?Praying in the Spirit = Requests Holy not that of the Hypocrite.

So what do I do?

Typically I would do three things.  1.  Spend 15 minutes reading the Bible.  Do a Bible in a year, read through.

https://dailyaudiobible.com/

Really good for that.

2.  Sing some songs of the faith, praising the Lord Jesus.

3.  Pray for a few minutes a day.  Pray about whatever is on your mind, and thank the Lord for being part of your life.

All that said, I would like to take a minute and back up.

Say with your mouth, using your voice....  The Lord's prayer, or the Apostle Creed.

https://www.crosswalk.com/faith/prayer/the-lords-prayer-be-encouraged-and-strengthened.html

https://www.crcna.org/welcome/beliefs/creeds/apostles-creed

Say that, verbatim, out loud.

If you can say that with your voice, and believe that it is true... then I don't think you have a demon in you.

I have read and heard numerous examples of demon possessed people.   Ironically I was just talking to my father about this last week.  He recalls just once being in contact with a demon possessed person.

The person was barely coherent, but he was saying things and talking about things, which that person, would not have known about.  My father concluded the only way he could say those things, was because he was under the influence or control of something spiritual, and clearly not good.

I've heard similar stories from numerous people of faith.  Those that have a demon in them, are barely in control of themselves, or even not in control of themselves.... and most important... they absolutely hate and despise the name of G-d and Jesus his son.

In fact, that's my test to see if I am dealing with someone possessed. I ask them to do something that praises the name of Jesus, and if they can't, then I would be very weary of them.  Had a lady that was acting very crazy, and I stopped and asked if we could pray for a moment, and when we prayed to Jesus, she stopped and calmed down.   A possessed person would not be able to do that.  Demons hate the name of Jesus.

So if you can say either the apostles creed, or the Lord's prayer, then I would wager you are not possessed by a demon.

Demons can whisper thoughts in your head, but that doesn't make you possessed or that you have a demon in you.  It means you are a normal human with temptations like all humans have.  We all have to deal with temptation in this world.  And we will have to deal with that until our last day on this planet.

You will never reach a point in this life, where you do not have temptations.  It is the cross we must bare.

Ervin, why do you think you are demon possessed?   A born again Christian cannot become demon possessed, as the Holy Spirit dwells in you.   A Christian might become oppressed....but never possessed.

So are you trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ as your own personal Savior?   If so, you are a Christian and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

My current so called diagnosis is so called schizoaffective disorder( it means you have so called schizophrenia and bipolar at the same time). First diagnosed around 15 years ago was psychotic, then schizophrenia, then paranoid schizophrenia, then current as I mentioned a schizhoaffective disorder.

If you read my response to the post prior to this you might get some idea but to exactly explain why do I think I am possessed would not be good, so I’ll keep it to myself.

Maybe I need to alter my beliefs a bit. Maybe they are not totally  in line with actual truth. You see I have found it hard to believe in trinity. But even when I did believe in the Trinity in the past I still had the same problem.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
