Let me put it another way.   Say you where seen leaving a friends house at 3pm.  Lets say you and your friend had a disagreement about something and there was some yelling and that is why you left. At 5pm the UPS driver shows up at your friend's house and discovers that your friend has been killed.  The cops come and start asking the neighbor's questions. They neighbors described  you to the police saying they saw you leave the house at 3pm.  The cops then show up at your house and start asking you questions. You say "yes I was at so and so's house today."  Then they say. "well so and so was found murder and you admit you were at their house today. So we are putting you under arrest for the murder of your friend so and so."   But...unseen by the neighbors. A man open a back window and sneaked into the house and he was the one who killed her. But no one saw this.  They only saw you leaving the house. 

That is what can happen in the world we live in.

You need to realize when someone here makes absolutely outlandish comments at this site there is nothing you can do to change their minds.  

Nothing has made this clearer than things that have been said to me after I told about my having Covid19 and what it did to me. And still is doing to me months after I have recovered as in the viral infection is over.  I have been classified as a long hauler and I am getting worse every day; it's slowly killing me. 

For example:

1. Real Christians can't get Covid19. 

2. Covid19 is not caused by a virus it's demon possession. 

3. There is no such thing as a virus, Covid19 and other diseases that they claim are caused by viruses are really caused by radio waves.

4. Covid19 is a hoax that was created to try and stop Trump from being reelected president. 

5. No body can be sure Covid19 really exists because there is no real test for it.

6. Covid19 is just ordinary flu.

And I am sure the list can be made longer.

The police could consider you a suspect but that is all. They need hard evidence to arrest you. You need an attorney.

As for my personal experience,  the innocent one was a case of mistaken identity combined with law enforcement wanting to wrap up the case as fast as possible. 

Many years after my loved one died in prison the one who actually committed the crime was convicted of the same crime and confessed to the previously mentioned one and provided evidence to prove he was the one. 

I do not know if he has become a believer and repented, but I would want him to have every possibility to.

My having come to forgiving him for what his crime did to me required my feeling this way about hin.

The forgiveness step was very helpful in my personal healing with what he did to me.

 

I repeat for anyone calling me a liar.

Some people prefer to live in denial and not accept the truth from ones who have experienced this personally. 

And i suppose all the ones who after being in prison for years and were exonerated were falsely exonerated?

And earlier you mentioned DNA proved the innocent.  Yes it did. But what about times there was / are no DNA available?

What about all the cases we see in the news about planted evidence to wrap up a case?

And what about as mentioned before the exorbitant costs of trying to be exonerated from false convictions?

Have you never heard of innocence project?

Because you need to be rich to fight these things this group was formed to help.  But they can only help so many.  Only the tip of the iceberg.

I really dose not take too much to get an arrest.  People think this way until it happens to them or it happens to someone they know. Then they see the reality of what really goes on.

I personally do not believe in the death penalty. I feel like people should remain in jail for life and think about what they did. i feel like the death penalty is the "easy way" out so to say.

You do not need to give any information at all to the police except your name. Like I said get a attorney to sit by you while the police question you. If you say too much you could incriminate yourself easily. That is why you need to hire a an attorney. Also you need an alibi. Anyone who saw you when you left the person's house.

Well you just made my point!  Which was innocent people do get arrested. So there you go.
