Or pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide us in the way of righteousness. We do not need a man to teach us. Only one third of the people from all tongues, tribes and people are going to be saved. Then there is the remnant also.

According to the research that was done by Arizona Christian University, only 35% of people in the United States believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. Additionally, 48% believe that salvation can be earned by being a good person.

 

As any true believer knows, this is not what the Bible teaches. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father except by Me” -  John 14:6.

 

There is a very good reason why Jesus could say this. He is the prophesied Messiah, the only Redeemer of mankind that God has ordained to save humanity. Jesus is the fulfillment of a miraculous plan of redemption that God instigated in Eden and illustrated throughout the Old Testament to its fulfillment in the Messiah Jesus.

 

I believe that the only reason so many people are ignorant of this plan in the United States, is because the church has neglected to focus on teaching who Jesus is in the Old Testament as the Lord has directed (Luke 24:27). The fault lies at the foot of the American pulpit.

 

When I mentioned the need to teach who Jesus is from the Old Testament, the pastor I was talking to responded, “Oh, that’s just for the Jews.” He was parroting a blatantly ignorant response that I have heard from others like him.

You are absolutely right, got attacked on this forum yesterday for explaining John 14:6. A priest or good works cannot absolve you of your sin, only Jesus.

We need the Holy Spirit to teach us and He leads us into God's word. Most Christians don't know how to teach Jesus from the Old Testament which is necessary to reach the Jews, Muslims and apostate Christians. If someone asked you, "Why Jesus has to be the Messiah?" What would you say to them? Do you have the skills necessary to teach who Jesus is from the Old Testament?

The Hebrew Letters have symbolic meaning. If you understand the Hebrew Language you will see Jesus. Even when we understand the very first word in the Bible we see that the Son of God was given as a grain offering so that Heaven and Earth could be united and become one. If we were to understand this one word: "beginning" we would understand all of the Bible. God declares the End from the Beginning. (Isaiah 46:10) Paul tells us: "blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in." (Romans 11:25)Daniel tells us that: "words are closed up and sealed until the time of the end."(Daniel 12:9) 

It is interesting that the Conservative "Jewish" people are looking for Zechariah 14:4 to literally happen: "On that day his feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, east of Jerusalem, and the Mount of Olives will be split in two from east to west, forming a great valley, with half of the mountain moving north and half moving south." This is the same event we read about in Acts 1:11 "This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven." 

I think they know Jesus is real. They just do not want to admit it or talk openly about this. Just like atheists know that there is a God, they just want to deny that they know. People will not be able to claim they did not know. They will be accountable for what they really do know.

The greater the darkness the more light we need to bring people out of their deception. So there should be even more of a demonstration of the power of God in the last days. We are the temple of God (Haggai 2:9)‘The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,’

Even Moses tells us: "I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and olive oil". (Deut 11:14)

They know Jesus is real, they just won't accept Him as the messiah. That's why they need to be taught the Gospel from the Old Testament. Most Christians don't know how to do that, that's why I'm promoting the book,  "Why Jesus has to be the Messiah."
