This is a direct correlation with Enoch, who was asked by the Watchers to intercede for them with God. He did this and God did not relent. Yeshua visited the same fallen Holy ones to show them that while He was temporarily dead, He would again rise and they would still be there.

And the other corrupt holy ones that are addressed in Psalm 82 will also 'die like men'. These are responsible for the pantheons after Babel. The apostle to the gentiles told them God wanted them back now since the scattering was a punishment. 'rise up oh God and take back the nations' (Psalm 82). The word 'rise' is the same as used in 'resurrection'. God plays the long game, but always gets it right and on time!!

Indeed. The Joshua wars --- purging the wicked taint of the Watchers and their abominable progeny (Nephilim) from the promised land --- were a foreshadowing of the battle which lies before us now.

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:11-12 KJV)

The principality from Daniel 10:13 which delayed the angel from reaching Daniel for 21 days is an example of what we face. These powers of wickedness rule over the earth according to a hierarchy which mirrors the geopolitical systems of men, hence the "prince of the kingdom of Persia."  Michael, the Lord's prince (mighty angel), had to come to the aid of the angel. This is no light matter.

If we look at the next 3 verses, we find that, as a result of this stated “issue”, God makes some very important decisions and shared His thoughts, namely:

a) in verse 5, He sees the wickedness of “the human race”, AND “the human heart”,

b) in verse 6, He speaks about His regretted making “human beings”,

c) in verse 7, He tells us He will wipe out from the face of the earth “the human race”.... that  “I have made”.

For me, I don’t think I would need to continue to search for “that magic bullet” in someone’s paper or scholarly article or even drill down to the book of Enoch.

For me, I believe God has already provided us His thoughts on this! God is telling us clearly how He is disappointed with the “human race” - those that He made (not those who some contend are a product of fallen angels and humans (those He did not create), and His decision to end all but 8 of the “human race”.

Personnally, I don’t have to look any further than His actual Words-and I don’t have to read into these Words any additional meaning- I think these verses tell us the identification of those He will destroy.

Well, I hope this makes sense to you and I look forward to your thoughts, Charlie.

The Nephilim(A) were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans(B) and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.(C)

The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth,(D) and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.(E)

The Lord regretted(F) that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled.

So the Lord said, “I will wipe from the face of the earth(G) the human race I have created—and with them the animals, the birds and the creatures that move along the ground—for I regret that I have made them.(H)

But Noah(I) found favor in the eyes of the Lord.(J)

Hi Charlie

I see your point.  However that is what their sins led to - accepting these angels as their gods in the first place.  This is how wicked they became, and what wickedness leads to.  The offspring of these giants they accepted in the end turned against mankind and became their oppressors.  God had to eradicate them.  Man also had a chance to repent after that.  They had Enoch to hear, and after him, they had Noah, but they still refused to come to the Lord God.  In the end, they were all destroyed except for 8 souls.  God kept his word, and you have no idea how powerful Enoch was in those days, being a great prophet of the Lord and warning the peoples.  Even Noah.  Noah did preach also, for over a hundred years, and still, they did not heed the warnings.

Can you see the fruits of evil and the same thing happening today?  All did reap what they had sown.  Today is no different.  Men have still taken false gods to worship, and it leads to what?  These deceptions are all the fruits of evil.  There will be a big eradication of man coming again just like in those days.  We have Christ now, but there's no difference and man has still not learned except for the few.

Enoch shares something in common with another prophet of the Lord: Elijah. Both were taken from this earth by the Lord having never tasted the end of this flesh.

Hi Marathoner

Yes, and that's the reason why I believe Enoch and Elijah will be the two witnesses.  Only two men on this earth never tasted death.

Sister, thank you for your response!!

There are is NO dispute or disagreement with ANY of your thoughts just presented, but they are / would ALL still valid and correct WITHOUT ANY consideration for “fallen angels”.

We (interpreters) find the need to “fill in” those areas we don’t fully understand. Our minds are extremely good at that!

I don’t want to ADD any additional thoughts, or FILL IN those “spaces” where we are not sure of it’s true meaning. I believe it would have been very easy for God to have mentioned how upset He was that His “fallen angels” had, in addition to mankind, contributed to the corruption of the “human race”.

If we were to interpret the word “nephilim” or “giants” as “fallen angels”, then we can bend or stretch or create the meaning of His Word wherever WE want it to go.

As I had mentioned prior to my last post, there were two major views on this topic and it appeared we would have to wait until the 2nd coming before we would have the true meaning of 6:4. FOR ME, that is no longer the case... I believe He simply had me read the skipped over verses (5 to 7), and accept they are all we need to understand 6:4.

This does NOT mean others will or should change their view on this topic, but maybe they might consider what He wrote is what He meant... without OUR adding to its meaning.

For me, I am very much at peace with this view... I certainly did not like the confusion in my mind when I felt so many had different and strong opinions (with good research behind them).

This is exactly the same exercise I have experienced in 9:27 and chapter 11 (still in process), where the strong majority have a view that doesn’t work for me (not because I am some brilliant individual by ANY means), but because that is the way my mind has always worked.

I am not happy to find that my interpretation is different from yours since I have witnessed your ability and instructions insight into His Word, but on this topic I think we just might not agree... yet, we can and should still be comfortable with our own interpretation.

Thank you again for your patience and contributions to this particular topic!!!! Charlie

Charlie, it is always a pleasure to converse with you, and with the others.  The three of you - Uriah, DeighAnn and yourself I have quite often enjoyed reading what you all post.  You all have been given a lot of truth, even though we may disagree some things.  Nevertheless, the seed is sown on this topic, and that's the main thing.  A good ol' stirring up of the soil may make the seed sprout in due season.  I am confident, and know the spirit has led me to you three so that this conversation could take place, and many more others to come.  The most important thing is that we worship the Lord God through Christ with all our heart.  Knowledge is just an added bonus, but the heart must love righteousness, and the Word of God which is truth must always come first.  That should be our first love.  TRUTH.  And only ONE can give that to us according to our walk.  In due season Charlie, in due season.  Measure by measure, according to what one has and not what one does not have.

God bless.

Thank you very much Sister!!!

It is quite a comfort and pleasure knowing I can always seek your thoughts and opinions on these Scriptures that are so new to me.

This is just one topic we are given where we can talk and discuss God and learn how others have come to know Him.

He has a special relationship with EACH one of us, and through the study of His Word, we can discover how He shows Himself to each one of us— it is ALWAYS a unique experience and we should share those experiences (whether a physical experience, or a thought or revelation He allows you to see so clearly.

I don’t believe He would like any of us to take a high position over someone else because they have, or think they have a better understanding of His Word!

In the short term I have been on this site, you have frequently displayed your thoughts, opinions and courtesy to others without any sense of pride, superiority, or arrogance- even with folks like myself who have just started this journey!

Anyway, have a great evening and let’s discuss another topic.. best wishes always, Charlie

Hi Charlie

Thank you!!!  I am prepared to leave this thread now.

Seeing as you have mentioned Daniel chapter 9 so often, would you be interested in having a discussion about this with me?  Do you have a thread going already, or should we make a new one?

IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THIS IS THE CORRECT ORDER,  THEN COULD YOU, please rearrange them and post your COMPLETE ORDER SO I COULD COMPARE them?   IF I CAN SEE THEM SIDE BY SIDE IT WILL SAVE ME  HOURS AND HOURS.  thank you  thank you (unless it's little, then of course go ahead)
OR NOT.

What WILL happen according to the Prophetic Word:

The enemies of the Lord gather - Micah 4:11-12, Ezekiel 36:2

They conspire to attack Israel - Psalms 83:1-8, Isaiah 21:2

They prepare their weapons - Psalms 7:12, Ezekiel 7:14

This is the situation today, but there will be a false sense of peace and security just before this.

At the moment of attack, God will use His Creation, the sun to send fire - Deuteronomy 32:22 & 34-43, Isaiah 30:26 & 30, Psalms 11:4-6, Isaiah 66:15-17, 2 Peter 3:7, Amos 1:1-15 & 2:1-5, , Psalms 50:1-3, Zephaniah 3:8, Revelation 6:12-17

The sun will explode with an extremely bright flash and the moon will reflect bright red - Isaiah 30:26, Joel 2:31, Acts 2:20, Habakkuk 3:4-5

The Lord will make their weapons recoil upon themselves, the Electro-Magnetic Pulse hit will cause them to explode - Psalms 7:13-16, Joel 3:4, Obadiah 15

Then the sun, moon and stars will be obscured by the approaching Coronal Mass Ejection - Psalms 18:11-12, Isaiah 13:9-13, Ezekiel 32:7-8, Amos 8:9

A huge superhot mass of hydrogen plasma approaches the earth – Joel 1:15-20, Malachi 4:1, Zephaniah 1:14-18

Everyone on earth will be shocked and terrified - Jeremiah 6:24-26, Ezekiel 21:5-7a, Isaiah 13:6-8, Revelation 6:15-17

The atmosphere will be pushed aside – Revelation 6:14, 2 Peter 3:10, Isaiah 34:4

The whole earth will be enveloped by fire - Isaiah 66:15, Zeph. 3:8, 2 Peter 3:7

In the Holy Land, only a remnant will survive - Zechariah 13:8-9, Isaiah 6:11-13

He will judge the nations, the wicked will die - Isaiah 63:1-6, Habakkuk 3:12, Revelation 14 18-20, Isaiah 66:17, Isaiah 29:20-21, Hebrews 10:27

His enemies will become ashes - Malachi 4:3, Ezekiel 30:1-5, Jeremiah 49:2, Matthew 3:12b

Millions will die around the world - Psalms 97:3-5, Jeremiah 25:33, Isaiah 13:12

The Lord will protect those who call to Him - Isaiah 43:2, Joel 2:32, Acts 2:21

And most people will take shelter until it passes. Isaiah 2:19, Revelation 6:15

The survivors form a One World Govt. - Daniel 7:23-24, Revelation 17:12

The Holy Land will be regenerated - Ezekiel 36:8, Joel 2:21-24, Isaiah 35:1-10, Amos 9:13-15, Jeremiah 33:12-14

And the Lord's faithful Christian people will gather there. - Psalms 107, Isaiah 35:1-10, Ezekiel 34:11-16, Isaiah 66:18b-21, Revelation 7:9-14

They will become the new nation of Beulah - Isaiah 62:1-5, Ezekiel 36:3-38, Jer. 31

They will build a new Temple – Zechariah 6:15, Haggai 2:9, Ezekiel 40 to 48

The attack by a Northern army will be won by the Lord – Ezekiel 38:22, Joel 2:20

The leaders of Beulah will sign a 7 year peace treaty with the leader of the O.W.G. Daniel 9:27, Isaiah 28:15

At the mid point he will break it and conquer Beulah -Daniel 9:27, Zechariah 14:1-2

This commences the 7 Trumpets and 7 Bowls of the Great Tribulation - Rev 8:2-

Those who kept their faith in God will be taken to a safe place on earth. Daniel 11:32b, Revelation 12:14

3.5 years later, Jesus will Return in His glory, for His Millennial reign - Revelation 19:11-21, Matthew 24:30-31, Zechariah 14:3-4

The Lord has told us His plans and He will not relent or change them - Jeremiah 4:28

There are plenty more prophesies and scriptures to prove this scenario.

Believe it or not; up to everyone to decide!  Psalms 19:11-12, Isaiah 48:6

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
