It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. If what he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If it is burned up, he will suffer loss. He himself will be saved, but only as if through the flames. (1 Corinthians 3:13,14,15)

There are a few issues with that interpretation, and some indeed take great liberties with this text. The context of the chapter shows Paul teaching that the planter's work and the waterer's work are really nothing, because God gives the increase. It's God's work, not our own. Our good works were even foreordained by God (Eph 2:10).

The just shall live by faith. Working for rewards is not of faith. We are to walk in Christ even as we received Him (Col 2:6). Having begun in the Spirit, we're not made perfect by the flesh. And working to "earn" rewards would be to attempt perfection in the flesh. Unlike very many preachers today, Paul sets forth neither rewards nor assurance as reasons for why we don't sin so that grace may abound (Romans 6), but he sets forth the newness of life that results from the promise of the Spirit. Indeed, "all things" come "freely" to God's children.

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? (Rom 8:32)

And even as Paul goes on to say right there in 1 Cor 3:

"Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's;" (1 Cor 3:22)

The love that the Father has for each of His children is exactly that of His love for the Son (John 17:23). And also if we're children of God, we're heirs: heirs of God and joint-heirs with Christ (Rom 8:17). That comes with our adoption; it belongs to 100% of God's elect, not some smaller percentage that earned it through their own righteousness, which would be after the flesh and the corruption that is in the world.

Now, of course, we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. And I don't dispute that it will be better on that occasion to have lived a life with more good works to show for, and perhaps greater commendation at the judgment seat is the reward Paul is talking about here. Nevertheless, this idea that many have of degrees of eternal rewards is not biblical.

My faith is that God is able to work though man because He can do what is impossible for us. We are not to trust in man, we are to put our trust in God and in His faith. Because man's faith is little more than a placebo.

Because someone believes in God it doesn't mean...that he is accepted by God...

The fact that someone believes in God and not being an atheist it's not commendable, even if it is a faith in the Heavenly God and not faith in an Idol God....

I made the distinction because when someone is having an Idol he will look for his Idol...to make a connection with his Idols...

Is someone believes in the Heavenly God...he will look towards the Heanens when he thanks or asks God for help..

To believe in the Heavenly God it does not mean that someone is accepted by God as to believe that he is one of God's children....

Even when someone does the things that he believes that are pleasing to God...it does not mean that he is one of his children...

That God is considering him to be one of his own, not only while he lives on earth but also after he departs from the earth...when he dies...

Because someone adapts God as his own and he does everything that pleases God it does not mean that God will adapt him...or that's how someone is adapted by God...

Why Jesus would say to those who believe in God having adapted God as their own and having been doing the things that pleases God...why Jesus said to them "I do not know you, depart from me...you have no place with me...and to my Inheritance...

Those people said we call the Heavenly God "Lord " and in the name of the Heavenly God we did many things...telling people to believe in God

and let go of their Idols...but Jesus Christ told them "I do not know you", as you are not one of my own...

What is the problem here...those people they believed in God and call him Lord doing the things that please him and expecting to be accepted by him and be Judged by him..

So hear we have a group of believers in God and a more specific group who took pride to do the things that pleases God all their lives...calling God their Lord.

Calling God their Judge the one who will Judge them at that day after their death...

Those people believe that God is a Spirit and they worship him and they did not have an Idol of him...expecting to be accepted by him...

This is one of their problems...not their only problem but one of their problems...

The God they believe in who is a Spirit simply is  not one of the Angels and no one has ever seen him...so no one and if that was possible can know how he looks like so no one can make an image of him...

Those people God this right...and they call him their (Lord)...they did not got this right...the fact is that what they believe and that they wanted to be truth and they wanted to be Judged by him...

But they did not get that right...

The Heavenly God who is a Spirit and whom they did not call him their Heavenly Father...only call him Lord...has never Judge anyone and will never Judge anyone...save only one and that is Jesus Christ his only Son...they only man with the Life of God from his conception born from a woman who did not have the Life of God in her...

A righteous woman and in the righteousness of the Law...from the generations of the righteous Abraham the righteous people of God from the Nation of God who did not have the Life of the Heavenly Father in them who were not adapted by the Heavenly Father not having any right to the Heavenly Inheritance...only to the Abrahamic Inheritance..

Who were one in Abraham but not one with Moses...as Elias was not one with Abraham...they were born to him...but God took them from him...before they die...

Jesus said to those who believed in God and who believe that they were a accepted by God...in vain they hoped that God will be their Judge...but they were surprise to be Judged by Jesus Christ whom they had refused to believe and they taught others not to believe in him...

They found out that Heaven was given to Jesus Christ as his Inheritance and that God has made Jesus Christ Lord and the Judge of all... Jesus did not know them as his own heirs of the Heaven together with him...in his name because they had refused to believe in him...

God's comand is to believe in him but also to believe in Jesus Christ to whom God has given the Heaven as his Inheritance...in whom God adapts us in him...if you have Jesus Christ you also have the Heavenly Father...

Jesus had to tell them depart from me...

They did not have Jesus Christ and they were not part of his Inheritance...

We are all accepted by God. We are all written in the book of life from the foundation of the world. Those that are blotted OUT of the book of life do not accept the sacrifice and provision that Jesus made for them. "I will never blot out his name from the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father and His angels." (Revelation 3:5b) David tells us in psalm 139:16 that God writes the book of our life at conception when he knits us together in the womb. We have all our gifts - talents & abilities. The angles are given to help us to develop them in a way that brings praise, honor and glory to God. He does not want anyone to perish (2 Peter 3:9)

Exodus 32:33
The LORD replied to Moses, "Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot out of My book.

Psalm 69:28
May they be erased from the book of life and not listed with the righteous.

That is not what I said. In fact I only quoted you a Bible Scripture: "If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire."(1 corinthains 3:15) NOW instead of telling me what this does NOT mean, why don't you try to explain to us what Paul is telling us here. What does "suffer loss" mean because that is what we are talking about. That is fine if you want to talk about: "he himself shall be saved" but my point has to do with the "suffer loss" part of this passage.

"Now if we are children, then we are heirs--heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:17) The key to this passage is: IF we suffer with Him. 2 Timothy 2:12 "if we endure, we will also reign with Him; if we deny Him, He will also deny us"

This comes up with the teaching about the Kingdom Age and the Manifest Sons (Daughters) of God. We rule and reign with Him for 1,000 years.

Do what He told you.. don't think before what your going to say. You allow let the sweet holy Spirit speak through you in that moment. Or else as I see it.. its just our answer.. maybe our best but.. its not Him even tossing out some verses. Let HIM lead you. He really does talk. You will get thoughts words you are not even thinking about. Verses pop into your head.. that just line up perfectly with what was asked. Always pray. Always be in pray 24/7. Ask the holy Spirit to lead you every moment every hour every day. He will not do it unless you ask. He will never go against our will.

Revelation 3

1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.

Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.

Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.

Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

********sorry what you have posted above it cannot be found in scriptures reference. *****

No, we are not accepted by God the Heavenly Father by DEFAULT when we believe in God.

To be accepted by God the Heavenly Father we must have faith in Jesus Christ...this is the only way...is not through the Law of Moses and being  the seed of Abraham...

And or believing in God...and doing the things that pleases God...

No this is not the Gospel of Jesus Christ....

At the baptism of Jesus Christ God the Heavenly Father...only gave his acceptance to Jesus Christ and to no one else...not even to John the Baptist....

John the Baptist knew that he did not have the Life of God in him...no one had the Life of God no one had the Heavenly Father....Jesus came to take us to him..he open the way to the Heavenly Father...for all mankind..they only need to believe in Jesus Christ...the inheritor of Heaven....the Judge of all mankind....he is the Judge of all mankind...

The Heavenly Father made him the Lord of all and the Judge of all...

Abraham did not have the Heavenly Father...he had the Lord God the Creator of Heaven and earth and Man...

When Jesus said God he always referred to the the Heavenly Father...

Jesus before he was born he was the Lord God the Creator of everything and man...and he left everything to enter our world as a man...EMANUEL...our God with us as a man...

This is telling us when God the Creator made man ...he knew that one day he will be like him a man...this is really something...but he had first to take care of one thing to create the woman Eve...

Then he said...the seed of the woman will crushed your head...

Both God and the Devil knew that he was taking about himself and they looked forwards to that time...

Jesus is the Life giver...no one ever had his life before he died.

Heaven was closed to mankind...no one could go to Heaven...

Abraham did not go to Heaven at the time of his death....

He knew that he had to be in Jesus Christ he will then go to Heaven....he had to wait together with his offspring in their own place apart from the rest of the world in the special place God gave him as his Inheritance in Sheol the place of the dead...but they were not dead they were alive to God...

They were still his...God did not loose them after they died....they had to wait for him to come to them to give them the forgivness of sins in his name which come by DEFAULT with his Life...he could only do that after he died and he could only descend to them without his body...

*******Your reference to verse...

5He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

******is about the believers in Jesus Christ who wake up from their indifference to what they believe and rekindled their jeal for the Gospel and the work of the Ministry ....

the book of Life in him is that they were of those who their names are written in the book of the Lamb of God and they are useful for the ministry and are thirty for God...alive to him...

those are the warm believers and not of those believers in Jesus Christ who are of the cold believers...they do not get involved in the ministry of Jesus Christ but they believe...

This is from the book of Exodus is between those who were part of the Covenant of Sinai...the seed of Abraham...the Israelites only...

This is a warning God gave to the Israelites....he was telling them that things have changed..

Before the Sinai Covenant the Israelites were in the righteousness of Abraham by birth and the Circumcision...

Inspite of their own...

And inspite of Sinning against God...example by calling upon the Idols...or mixing idolatry in their lives...

God told Moses that from now on...they will not be tolerated like before...they are in the Covenant he is their Lord and their God...before he let them on their own...

He did not if they sin...he said if they sin against me...as not keeping the Sabath...

So with the Law we begin to have the "Lost sheep of Israel "...

Here we have a reference to those Israelites who were under the Law of Moses...who were righteous and because of what they did ....they were founded among the unrighteous Israelites...

A reference to Lost sheep of Israel...it tell us that they did not have the immunity the seed of Abraham had before the Law was given...

Where no one of the seed of Abraham...were lost...

With the Law the Israelites had to have the righteousness of the Law....obedience to the Law....

It's not for us this was the book of their Lord God...

We are not in him...we are in the Lamb of God...in his Grace. Who died for us...

In his righteousness...in his sacrifice...in his resurrection...in his Spirit.  His Life.

Yes, what you say seems to be accurate. In Bible college they tell us to first look at who the Bible was first written for. THEN look at what the message is for us today. Everything God did for Israel - He is doing for us today. Paul tells us: "For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope." (Romans 15:4) Everything in the Bible is there for a reason and there is a message for us today. Esp the Torah or the books given to us by Moses. The Holy Spirit will help us to understand how all of this applies to us today.

Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
