Abraham Lincoln once said he was not so much concerned that God is on our side but rather that we are on God's side.

What Kamala Harris claimed he said about waiting to appoint a Supreme Court Justice 27 days before the 1864 election was a lie.  Out and out lie.

Analysts say she lied as many as 24 times during the Vice Presidential debate.

Mike Pence did not lie once.

One heart beat away from the Presidency.

Pellosi being two heart beats away from the job scares me enough to seriously petition for a Constitutional convention to reign in politicians for the behavior she has continued to display fort the last 4 years. Fraud, deceit,

lying, antagonizing, holding legislation for ransom. The very article she is waving before the media's noses should be rewritten to include reigning in the speaker of the house and / or impeachment for removal of the same. And I would say the majority leader of the Senate (i.e. President pro tem) should be 3rd in line to the President and then the Speaker of the House.

Maybe that is why she wants to change the law so they can declare Biden unfit and put Harris in as president, because then Pelosi would be next in line. I remember when they made Ford president when Nixon resigned. It was a lame duck presidency. He did not accomplish much other than to keep the chair warm for Jimmy the peanut farmer.

Because it is God's choice. Romans 13:1. Nothing can happen in the universe if God did not ordain it. He works all things after the counsel of His own will. Eph 1:11.

Isaiah 46:9-11:

9 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,

10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

11 Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.

Psalm 135:5–6

5  For I know that the Lord is great,

And that our Lord is above all gods.

6  Whatsoever the Lord pleased,

That did he in heaven, and in earth,

In the seas, and all deep places.

Psalm 115:3

3  But our God is in the heavens:

He hath done whatsoever he hath pleased.

You all seem to think that an anti-abortion law would mean there are no more abortions.  The only thing such a law would do would force women into dark, underground places.  Why so much care for the unborn? And so little care to the born? Republican's are the first to cut off health care, food aid and other gov. programs.

Maybe we should go back to the health care, food aid and government programs of Jesus day.  Government was not involved at all. It was the church and families that were meant to take care of each other.  When you rip away tax dollars and give to others, that is NOT what God wanted. There is no love involved. The giving is to come from God's people.  Welfare is grossly misused.

Yes of course people will still continue to sin even if it is abolished.  We could say that about any of our laws on drugs, drunk driving etc.  Yes people still take drugs and drive drunk.  People even with laws, people even still rape, murder, rob and steal. The point is that once a nation makes something legal, than that nation is endorsing that as to not being harmful. That is a lie. The women who have had abortions suffer harm the rest of their days whether they admit it or not. Unless they find the power of healing from Jesus Christ they have greatly sinned against God by taking the life and spilling innocent blood. We should never endorse that as a nation.

As a nation our Supreme Court made slavery legal.  That was a crime against humanity and God.  Making something legal affects the entire country and will bring harsh punishment upon the country.

This was in response to the post that she was not voting for either party.

So we should not have opposed slavery?  I do understand your thought process, however. I am not voting for a person as president. All of us are sinful and make bad choices.  I am voting against abortion.  Clearly there are other topics out there to care about, but when your house is burning down, your first priority is to put OUT the fire.  Then worry about the other details.

Okay so I have a question here. Why is it when we start talking about how we need a Christian nation or a Christian leader in office? And that the first thing they should do is end abortion because that would be the Christian thing to do and the Bible says so.  But when it comes to care for the poor or the sick or the hungry. Then I get replies like , Well that is not the Gov. job.   Well then I ask. Do we want a Christian Gov or not?   It seems to me what some here are  really wanting here is not a Christian Gov or a Christian leader, but what they want  is to tell other people how they should live. Without having to do anything that is going to be a cost to them.  So we either go all the way on this Christian government. Or not at all.  We can't just pick and choice what Christian principals from the Bible we want our Christian Gov to follow, and leave out the ones that might cause us to have to give a little.

As for the Gov in Jesus days. Of cores they were not involved in carrying for the needs of the people. They were not a Christian Government. So why should they?

You can't really vote against abortion. You can vote to end legalized abortion. But that dose not stop abortions from taking place. How come we as Christian never say "well I am going to vote against cutting food aid?" I never hear anyone on here say that when it comes to elections.

I am just full of questions today.

I don't think there's any place in the new testament that talks about caring for the poor. I think when it mentions the poor it is referring to the Christian and not the unbeliever.

Matt 25 v 35 does not only mean Christians. Jesus was telling Christians to care for all of us, as part of His second commandment

We are all brothers and sisters as humans, and is our responsibility to care for all, Christians or not.

Luke 12 v 33-34 is just one of many scripture about caring for the poor. All the poor, not just poor Christians.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
