The Bible tells us to prove all this (1 Thessalonians 5:21)

including the spirits / the Holy Spirit (1 John 4:1) by the scriptures

themselves (Acts 17:11).

If someone showed you from the Bible what you believed with all your

heart to be absolute truth may not be true...

would you at least check it out?

Or would you hold stubbornly onto to what you believe / made up your own mind

is true?

This means to examine things for soundness, in order to know whether to receive or reject them. This is what led to the great creeds and articles of faith in the past, and it is what will help us know what we believe and why we believe it today.

Like the Apostle's creed?

The Apostle's Creed begins in error:

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

Isaiah 44:24 / John 1:1-3 / Colossians 1:13-16 / Hebrews 1:2

all say Jesus did this alone by himself preincarnate.

The Lord solves all my problems for me. What more proof do I need?

This is the important of the gift of prophetic utterance (Xenolalia) mentioned by Paul in my church, given to rebuke n build each member who gather to worship, also the gift of vision regarding the condition of each member. This is call two way communication instead of One Way talking2 to God in many churches.

I've known the truth. Jesus said Satan does not cast out Satan.

This is a good question. If I’m honest, I probably would be stubborn. For instance, I have met several people who claim they can prove that Jesus Christ is  not God. I would not give those arguments  the time of day. At this point in my faith, I just feel tired and want to rely solely on the grace and beauty of Christ and avoid theological discussions though I recognize how important they are for the Church as a whole.

Mark 7:7 (NIV84)
7 They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men.’

Mark 7:13 (NIV84)
13 Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.”

Worshiping Christ is vain if by the traditions of man (which nullifies the Word of God).

How much of the traditions of man do we buy into?

This is good. But I strongly urge everyone to prove why they believe what they believe.

And that means studying the scriptures under the tutelage of the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 2:15 / 2 Peter 1:20-21 / John 14:26 / John 15:26)

The Bible teaches Jesus is God incarnate:

John 16:27 (AV)
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

Philippians 2:5–11 (AV)
5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

The first highlighted phrase in verse 6 in the Greek is morphe theos huparchon = never ceasing to be God. And of course, how can one be equal with God who is not also God?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
