If one is set apart and made holy by the power/ Spirit of GOD then it must be within their capacity to be pleasing to the Lord. I don't think such a person would laud that they have been wholly sanctified though as doing so is not humble and as such, claiming outwardly to be without sin is a sin in itself, at very least, an indicator that such an one is not in actuality, sinless. Luke 1:35 The words God spoke became flesh and dwelt among us John 1:14 The words I speak unto you, they are spirit and they are life John 6:63 These are my words; love one another John 15:12 As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God Romans 8:14 Now, the Lord is the Spirit 2 Corinthians 3:17 Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. I learned that we are to live by obeying God. Don't worry about theological theories. I was simply taught that I wasn't supposed to commit sins. I actually see that my being raised like this serves me better as an adult than knowing all the theories many of you argue about. I expect all of us will always commit some sins. But we should all commit less & less as we grow closer to God. This is what our lives should be. I believe this is the way we will get to be in heaven. Jesus said Luke 4 18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on ME, because he has anointed ME to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent ME to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free he who The Son sets free, is free indeed

Do I believe God in Christ can sanctify me wholly, completely, and entirely? Yes. Absolutely. I was entirely sanctified the other day for a while until I allowed myself to be entertained by a funny but godless TV program. I repented of that and all sin again, so now I am wholly sanctified again. My feet are washed so to speak. I am off to do some good works now! It's not often you get a one word thread title. Sanctification is one of the four messages that constitute the Gospel as follows: Salvation Reconciliation Sanctification Hope It is good to be rescued from sin and its consequences, forgiven of sin and its consequences, cleansed of sin and its consequences, and filled with hope and its consequences, all possible because of Christ shedding His blood to redeem sinners. 1Pe 1:18-21 Forasmuch as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers; (19) But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: (20) Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you, (21) Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
