@Marathoner

1st Corinthians 5:12-13, Paul said, "For what have I to do with judging outsiders (Non-believers)?

Is it not those INSIDE THE CHURCH WHOM YOU ARE TO JUDGE?

God judges those outside (The church). "Purge the evil that is among you (In church)."

This is for the sake of the one being judged to save his soul from hell in love.

We are to judge in love and no other intentions.

The verses here wrongly quoted are about the improper intentions in the judging and evil from a  hateful and unloving heart of the judger with evil intentions.

God is not a God who opposes Himself so all verses about judging have to find harmony and unity in context as God does not lie, but man does.

The Spirit of God has departed from the churches. A new spirit has taken hold, a spirit of slumber. No judgment,  everyone is saved ( cause we said the magic prayer), comedian Pastors, build a bigger, better building .... anyone preaching the  building "not made with hands, eternal in the heavens"? Yeah, Bible study...4 people show up.

Ichabod ( 1Sa. 4:21).

I like a good bible study. Is there a lot of indepth bible study here? There is isn't there? Think i might try the waters there.

Christ said a kingdom divided against its self will fall and the Church is clearly divided.

For me some red flags. Well I know ...oh and had to look up the word ..thanks JohnD! HAHA (playing) then its oh ok. I know the simple meaning of the word. The red flags "some sort of Jesus". Then "Doesn't the omission of such teaching by the mainstream Church tell you something?"

Its truth yet not. Are there "Christian"groups that do this exact thing based on "Yeshua/Jesus came in the flesh died on the cross for the worlds sin was buried rose the 3rd day is the only way to the Father"? Yep so what are we focused on?

The other about Churches and teaching. How in the world would anyone know this? Well there are over 29million Churches and 52 weeks in a year.. no one would know. Yet this kind of thing has been used for things like "they don't have any altar calls "any more", no one preaches about Jesus returning "any more"" On and on. The truth is which applies to all is what are you focused on?

And a truth many will not like is ..sorry who are you? And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.

See some try to walk in a office they were not called to nor have the authority from GOD. If so then where are these "Ecumenicism" groups? And whats not being preached.. praise GOD in part I can agree on but.. where are those preachers? None are here.... Do we see? Not edifying them or building them up in any way. For me a KEY that ALL should use or type or speak is "lets pray for them". We love them we want to help.. thats what I would want.

So I don't see how you put these together. From the start the sweet holy Spirit said "But among the people there were also false prophets, just as there will be false teachers among you." There were....there will be.  How does it this help those that will never hear this?

Oh from what I read when Christ comes and sets foot on the earth He gathers the nations that just came out of the great tribulation where after Chapter four in Rev is not talked about hmm. Anyway those are the ones that are split. I wont be there.. unless I fall away walk away from Him and miss him when we get caught up.

Be like our Father.. speak words of life.. call those things that be not as though they were. He always sees something that always applies here... the heart. So forgive me if I offended. And another *ism word... wow so many of them huh. Oh I am? No one

I think you have stepped in, @Arrabon We will watch for any harsh treatment of you but it's a two way street. Personal attacks are not tolerated as some find out when warnings go unheeded and they are exiled to Mars Hill under Mod Review.

Thank you for the encouraging words, brother. This is what we all need: to remind one another, to correct one another, and most of all to encourage each other in the Lord. :)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
