Another thing to add, but a saying of mine (hope it doesn't offend people on this site),

"You can call a fart a toot but no matter what it still stinks."

Pro-choice or pro-abortion, it's still in support of murder.

And remember, they use the term anti-abortion to describe us, while we choose pro-life because anti- sounds worse. It's called spin. But like was said, pro-choice and pro-abortion amount to the same thing.

CNN has reviewed and agreed to run a controversial ad produced by a pro-abortion group that falsely accuses Supreme Court nominee John Roberts of filing legal papers supporting a convicted clinic bomber!

I don't agree with the misrepresentation of the judge, but I also think referring to the group as "pro-abortion" is also misleading. being pro-choice doesn't mean you are "pro-abortion"....it means what it says....pro-CHOICE. The right to CHOOSE.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I think pro-abortion is misleading as well. How about pro-murder and the "doctors" who do it should rot in jail?

Write this on the calendar, But SJ I am in total, 100% complete agreement with you on this one, how any one can spin murder into a feel good phrase is beyond me. It is amazing how they forget that the baby gets no choice.

God Bless our little children!

I pity the one person who comes to this site and reads these posts and having either considered abortion or having gone through it, ends up in a depressive state because of the constant "you're killing your baby" attitudes put on by so many "christians". None of you have obviously had to make a decsion like that before and so of course you're going to say things like

how any one can spin murder into a feel good phrase is beyond me. It is amazing how they forget that the baby gets no choice.

right....because the fourteen year old girl who got raped in a back alley had all the choice in the world. How can people who claim to love so much be so insensitive to the feelings of others. To the things that some women have to go through. You people have no idea what it's like to go through a decision like that and you can do is condemn and shout hurtful words and "tell it like it is". Do you go to gay funerals and shout out "thank god for AIDS"? The why would you say hurtful things to someone like

I think pro-abortion is misleading as well. How about pro-murder

It sickens me to see the amount of hatred and ignorance in statements like that. You should all be ashamed of yourselves!

Back to the question of this topic: CNN and abortion add, pro-life? equal time?

Yes I am sure if you have $125,000 they would be happy to run your add....

I seriously doubt it had to do with much else.

I was against abortion and believed it to be murder LONG before I became a Christian.

None of you have obviously had to make a decsion like that before

and you know this to be true because.......??????????

right....because the fourteen year old girl who got raped in a back alley had all the choice in the world.

Rape and murder are two different things but have one thing in common. No one chooses to be raped (such as the 14 year old girl in the back alley) and no one chooses to be murdered (like the baby that may be the result of that rape).

How can people who claim to love so much be so insensitive to the feelings of others. To the things that some women have to go through.

I am a woman. You have NO idea what I have been through. I am very thankful that I did not become insesitive and bitter because of it. Instead, I can speak to people who have gone through the same thing and know exactly how they feel...not just offer them lip service for something I know nothing about first hand.

2Corinthians 1:3-7

You people have  no idea what it's like to go through a decision like that

Again I say, you know this to be true because??????????

Do you go to gay funerals and shout out "thank god for AIDS"?

Absolutely not. Do you?

It sickens me to see the amount of hatred and ignorance in statements like that.

It burns my wick when the term "sexual assault" is used to describe grabbing a womans breast and that same term is used to describe rape. Kind of "waters down" the violence & horror of the rape don't you think?

I say call it what it is. Rape is rape just as murder is murder.

How is that hateful or ignorance?

If any of you have truly gone through an abortion decision (whether you decided for against the procedure) then you wouldn't be saying things like......

I say call it what it is. Rape is rape just as murder is murder.

There is no way you could have gone through a decision like that so non-chalantly as to be able to make a statement like that. If you have, then you are either a person with very little emotional attachment to idea of pregnancy and motherhood, or you are simply devoid of feelings all together. That's why I make the blanket statement that no one here seems to know what it is like.

Do you go to gay funerals and shout out "thank god for AIDS"?

Absolutely not. Do you?

No I don't, but it has the same effect on someone's emotions.

Tact exists...use it!

You need to re-read your own post Emily.

You said:

None of you have obviously had to make a decsion like that before

and I asked how you know this to be true? How do you know that no one here has gone through this?

You are the one who assumes I was speaking of myself. :21:

How can people who claim to love so much be so insensitive to the feelings of others. To the things that some women have to go through.

My reply (below) was to your (above) remark about "insesitive" and "the things women go through." When you say thingS (plural)...you open your comment up to more than just the issue at hand. Again, you assume....

If you have, then you are either a person with very little emotional attachment to idea of pregnancy and motherhood

I'm sure all of my children could tell you something very differently :24:

Yes there is such a thing as tact. Perhaps you should have used it when you were the first to ask the question I asked you?

Do you go to gay funerals and shout out "thank god for AIDS"?

Absolutely not. Do you?

You think highly of yourself if you "know" no one has gone through this issue when you don't know anything factual about them at all. That is my point.

Again, you know nothing of what I have been through just as I know nothing about you. However, I won't be make assumptions about you.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
