I am truly sorry if I have upset anyone about all of this! I have posted the OP on several forums, and I have not kept track of what I have said in each one of them. Some have received more information than others. But surely, Christians know what a safe-haven during the end-times would be about. I don't believe I said we wanted "like-minded" people regarding our eschatology. And we do not. This is all about the Lord protecting us from whatever comes our way. And He has said we will have a small militia to protect us. My wife says I shouldn't use the word "militia", so, okay, what word should I use? Well, you used the word "like-minded" in your opening post, and since your intention is an "end-times safe-haven" that seems to imply a certain eschatology. But I may have read that wrong. I was curious about this more because I am in BC, albeit in the northwest and we have people of similar character living around here. If you are looking include an armed militia as part of your haven, I assume you are aware of the regulations around firearms in Canada. But I agree with Alive that I don't really see the purpose (and that is coloured by my religious tradition). I'd hope you are not planning on hiding away out there for years on end.
