They are both online and offline. Here are the signs of them. Some we can’t see just by being online but some we can:

“Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭1:29-32‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In one of those sinful [traits] listed, each One of Us posses at least one of them, if not more.   And on the Brighter side, we are able to see our progress in how We've overcame many of them through Accepting God into our lives.   But even though we Apply Grace and Mercy Generously, We are Still Sinners [Covered] by the Works of God.   And God is continually Working on Each of Us.

But the Entity who Possesses [all] of these Traits, will Appear to be Meek, Gentle, Patient and Its response will always be Venom!

odd

Don't even know why I added that last sentence.

I struggle with the idea that those who seeks God with a humble heart can truly be deceived or ignorant. They can be uninformed, but when presented with a theology, the true seekers, see the lie, or the truth.

I agree with the caveat it isn't always immediate. Some danger lies in trusting to a fault because a person respects the leader. We sometimes let trust override logic and that inner feeling something isn't quite right. Have you ever had that feeling and brushed it off thinking it was just an overreaction when there was something to it?  False prophets look a lot like the real thing. Over time the true colors show through. JMHO.

You know I kinda thought the same thing. For instance jealousy. I imagine we have all been jealous at one time or another. I like think I've kicked it by now.

I was Manipulative and easily could separate people and put them against one another.  I know God is Real because we make fun of cats having 9 lives, People who enjoy getting people arguing end up being the target of a lot of seriously hate filled individuals.   How I got away from some things make me Completely Appreciate John 8:58 When Jesus said, Before Abram was I Am and in John when He said, I and the Father are One...it said the Pharisees picked up stones to kill Him but He vanished and walked through them without noticing Him to safety.   Yeah, I saw that a couple times.   It was eventually a Life Changer and God has [Used It] for His Purpose.

I was in a church that had people who talked about each other. Every church seems to have at least one or two who like to say things they wouldn't say if that person was there. The church I'm referring to had people in  leadership who did it. I remember being  over at get togethers and certain individuals would come up in conversation. Instead of standing against it, I found myself pulled into it sometimes because what they were saying wasn't necessarily untrue, it just wasn't proper.

After having been away from that for awhile I can now see how Christian friendships are supposed to be. We don't have to talk about our brothers. It makes me uncomfortable when a name comes up in a negative way. I am often silent when I really should be admitting i don't want to go there.

It seems to be a natural human tendency.  I have learned natural isn't good. Some people I know invite two couples over instead of one because I think it helps in ridding of it some. I can't confirm this, but it makes sense it would.

Yes, we do. We are to examine ourselves to see if we are in the faith, remembering that by virtue of striving with this flesh we might stumble and fall into error at any time. Disagreements and even disputes do not mark one (or the other) as a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I think @David1701 furnished an example of a wicked deceiver, that man who crept in unawares to pursue women. What's the mark of one in the Lord's hand?

His Spirit deals with us as children. Being impatient and seeing things darkly as we do we might not witness this work of the Lord in brethren, even in our own selves until considerable time has passed. But deal with us He will: convicting us, correcting us, and disciplining us as He sees fit. I've experienced this more than once, my friends.

I'm confident all of us have.

It says some were brought in under false reasons to spy on them.. No one here that I know are trying to get us arrested. It was like that back then. In China or Iran India yes that happens all the time. To get them arrested.

I think some here are trying to make this say something it is not. Some are just talking "doctrine" where YOU could be the one in error :)

Thanks, i never considered that before, but Jude seems to be about something else.

3 Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. 4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

Thanks, i never considered that before,

In Galatians 2 4-5 the spies wanted to make them slaves of the law. Nobody was trying to arrest anyone.

“Not satisfied with teaching an untrue gospel, the false apostles tried to entangle Paul. "They went about," says Paul, "to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage."

When Paul saw through their scheme, he attacked the false apostles. He says, "We did not let go of the liberty which we have in Christ Jesus. We routed them by the judgment of the apostles, and we would not give in to them, no, not an inch."

We too were willing to make all kinds of concessions to the papists. Yes, we are willing to offer them more than we should. But we will not give up the liberty of conscience which we have in Christ Jesus. We refuse to have our conscience bound by any work or law, so that by doing this or that we should be righteous, or leaving this or that undone we should be damned.

Since our opponents will not let it stand that only faith in Christ justifies, we will not yield to them. On the question of justification we must remain adamant, or else we shall lose the truth of the Gospel.”

https://www.studylight.org/commentaries/eng/mlg/galatians-2.html

“Paul admits that he conferred with the apostles concerning his Gospel. But he denies that the conference benefited or taught him anything. The fact is he resisted those who wanted to force the practice of the Law upon the Gentiles. They did not overcome him, he overcame them. "Your false apostles lie, when they say that I circumcised Timothy, shaved my head in Cenchrea, and went up to Jerusalem, at the request of the apostles. I went to Jerusalem at the request of God. What is more, I won the indorsement of the apostles. My opponents lost out."

The matter upon which the apostles deliberated in conference was this: Is the observance of the Law requisite unto justification? Paul answered: "I have preached faith in Christ to the Gentiles, and not the Law. If the Jews want to keep the Law and be circumcised, very well, as long as they do so from a right motive."

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
