THE  NEED  OF  GOD  FOR  US --- is it not for us to speak truth

PSALM 37:30  the mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom and his tongue talketh of judgement

PROVERBS 2:6  for  THE  LORD  giveth wisdom out of  HIS  mouth cometh knowledge and understanding

--2:7-- HE  layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous  HE  is a buckler to them ---that walk uprightly---

PROVERBS 4:5  get wisdom get understanding forget it not neither ---decline from the words of  MY  mouth---

1 CORINTHIANS 1:19  for it is written I will ---destroy the wisdom of the wise---and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent

PSALM 119-157  many are my persecutors and mine enemies yet do I not decline from thy testimonies

1 CORINTHIANS 2:4  and my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of --mans wisdom but in demonstration of the spirit and of power

--2:5-- that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men but in the power of  GOD

JOHN 6:63  it is the spirit that quickeneth the flesh profiteth nothing the words that I speak unto you they are spirit and they are life

PSALM 119:139  my zeal hath consumed me because mine enemies have forgotten thy words

Unimportant matters. People have varying opinions on those things, im not interested.

And that is absolutely your God given right to not answer those questions.   I just figured when someone makes such a blatant statement like who taught them, it seems only logical to ask what did they learn.

Known as "ismisation".

In a sentence: "If the ismisation of things is banned it will be as a result of unbridled facism."

Fac-ism?  ;)

Does one need to be an intellectual to understand Gods word? Thank you.

Yes and No.    If an intellectual is humble God will allow them to understand his word.

We need intellectuals and scholars to compile the Greek and Hebrew manuscripts and then translate them to English or other languages.

“Dear brothers and sisters, when I came to you, I told you the secret truth of God. But I did not use fancy words or great wisdom. I decided that while I was with you I would forget about everything except Jesus Christ and his death on the cross. When I came to you, I was weak and shook with fear. My teaching and my speaking were not with wise words that persuade people. But the proof of my teaching was the power that the Spirit gives. I did this so that your faith would be in God’s power, not in human wisdom.

We received the Spirit that is from God, not the spirit of the world. We received God’s Spirit so that we can know all that God has given us. When we say this, we don’t use words taught to us by human wisdom. We use words taught to us by the Spirit. We use the Spirit’s words to explain spiritual truths. People who do not have God’s Spirit do not accept the things that come from his Spirit. They think these things are foolish. They cannot understand them, because they can only be understood with the Spirit’s help.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭2:1-5, 12-14‬ ‭

I agree. I have social anxiety so i didnt attend church for many years. I actually had to get on medication just to work. I relied on God alone because Hes all i had. I try, in my own way, to share that. I resist teachers because i have seen all the divisive denominational theology. Who needs that? Just give me a scripture and a prayer, God will do the rest.

You're blessed in the Lord brother....His grace is sufficient.

Brother--you may not realize it, but you are learning something through folks here at the forum. Do you believe this statement?

We might from time to time learn something through another vessel in the will of the Lord that we need to tuck away in our hearts....but that is not the same as relying on others instead of on God.  The Lord gives teachers, preachers, and all the divers parts of the Body but He does not tell us to rely and lean on them...on the contrary doesn't  He say in scripture to test them and test everything!  And something that is badly neglected in churches because of departing from the simplicity of Christ is that we learn and grow strong by exercising our spiritual senses.

(Teaching by the way is a spiritual gift conferred by the Holy Spirit...it's not a natural gift/talent or a designation conferred by a seminary or degree in theology.  The Lord often uses the least likely and that way He is glorified, not the vessel.)

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
