first off, i am more inclined to believe the "pretrib" side of it, but that is not the point....

we all are trying to figure out when and how certain things will happen.....

it does talk about the catching away.... Rapture if you may, even thou it is not a word in the Bible, it does have the concept of it.... just like Trinity, there is the concept of it.... just like the Word Grandfather, not in the Bible, but the concept is there..... ok.....

now as I was saying, we have to remember that John was given some information, and was told to not devulge it... was told to not write it down....

so...

there is some things that are not known and will not be known for a while....

all the evidence i see, is that all the prophecy points to the "end time" not to the "rapture"....... what will cause the world to be placed in such a state that we would want to turn to a man for guidance when that man seems to have all the answers?

do you realize that all the prophecy that needs to be completed prior to the "rapture" / " First resurrection" have already been fulfilled? and everything else can be done in as little as 3.5 years? and as many as 7 years? hmmmm

we have to look other places then just Rev. for our answers, we even have to look in Matthew, mark, luke, john, and many places in the old test.....

anyways, there is allot of things that our knowledge and wisdom can not take care of, infact, our wisdom is nothing more then foolishness in Gods eyes....

you could also think about it this way.....

when you are placed up on the platform, and you watch the blade come slidingdown the grooves, and you feel the blade hit your skin ( remember, in emergancies and such, evey thing seems to be slow motion.... so that blade will be coming down in slow mo..... and then you see the blade stop at the same instant that you see the ground coming up from behind your head and then your nose hits the ground and you yell but nothing comes out cause you are no longer attached to your lungs and diaphram and vocal cords..... your mind is still receiving the signals the nerves are sending from your neck, your brain is still sending the signal for the body to breath, and the heart to pump, it is starting to feel the depravation of the ozygen so the signals are saying faster to the heart and more air to the lungs..... and nothing happens.... then you start feeling the light headedness ( no pun intended ) from the lack of usable air and blood supply...

and then your mind passes out as you watch the worker picking you up to place you on the pole or in the basket, you may even see the workers pushing your lifeless body off of the bench you were once laying on.....

it takes several minutes for the brain to shut down after being deprived of oxygen.....

If there is such a thing, what good would it do post trib.? Believe me, when the 666 S.S. guys put your childs head in a guiloteen, there is a very good chance that you or I will rationalize taking the dreaded "mark". Don't fool yourself into thinking that your faith is so big that you can overcome something like this. Of course I believe the whole 7 year anti-Christ thing is a bunch of hewy designed to sell books. no one really knows and those who claim to know,

There absolutely is a rapture. The bible does not say otherwise anywhere. The rapture happens before the 7 year tribulation. The bible does not teach any other time. Those who think so are mis interpreting the bible and do not have all their facts.

the word Rapture is not in the Bible.....

neither is the word Grandfather or Grandmother.... does that mean there are no grandfathers or grandmothers?

after the Tribulation begins the battle of Armagedon..... Christ will be on the earth then, why would we be gathered up at that time just to return at the same time for the battle?

if that was the case then we would not be gathered up, but wait for the Lord to appear and join in in the battle....

but then we might as well forget about the Wedding feast of the Lamb, for we would be waiting another 1000 years, as Christ rules....

sequence:

birth, death and resurrection of Christ

church age

first resurrection, those that are dead in Christ rizing first and those that are still alive in Christ will follow, meeting Christ in the clouds, (those that are followers and doers of the Word, where Christ brings His Bride Home) the Righteous in Christ

judgement seat of the Lamb (where the church gets their rewards

wedding feast of the Lamb ( The Bride of Christ (the church))

Christs return to the earth begining the battle of Armagedon (beating satan and his followers and casting them into the pits for 1000 years)

satan released, for a short season

battle of gog and magog...

second resurrection ( the unrighteous in Christ )

great white throne judgement,

eternal death for those not found righteous in Christ,

eternal life for those that are Loyal to God thru Christ.

simple enough

by the way, not all of this is in Revelation.....

Actually the "rapture" is in the Bible. I'm sorry to cut and paste but this says it better than I can:

First of all, the word "rapture" is found in the Bible, if you have the Latin Vulgate produced by Jerome in the early 400s. The Vulgate was the main Bible of the medieval Western Church until the Reformation. It continues to this day as the primary Latin translation of the Roman Catholic Church. Yet, as we shall see later, it was Protestants who introduced the word "rapture" into the English language from the Latin raeptius. It was Jerome

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
