Guest HeIsMyLord
Just thought of the ultimate "Makes you cry" movie: Edward Scissorhands. (For extra points, it's Price's last ever movie). Also, The Crow. (Made ever the more Cryful by Lee's death while filming). R.I.P to the two actors mentioned above.

Guest Zayit
 wow.. that's a lot... I have only had two movies that have moved me... one from the time i was little until now: Independance Day And the other one, my youth pastor put on during our first(and hopefully not last) movie night before he left on deputation. It was about an evangelist(?) who traveled and preached to anyone he came into contact with. I wish i could explain this better.. but that is how i remember it. It might be an old movie, but it is a great one: Sheffy <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That wouldn't be 'The Apostle' would it? ( With Robert Duvall) I liked that movie too. He went on doing the work of the kingdom dispite his downfalls and sins. I especially liked the scene with the guy in the bulldozer, that brought me to many tears.

I love the message of hope it gives out... a 'no matter how bad it gets, there is always hope' situation! It's also brilliantly acted (Morgan Freeman is one of my all time favourite actors) and is just a brilliantly written and (in my humble opinion) very moving film. However, a secular movie that also moves me is "Pay It Forward" this makes me cry...that such a young boy could create change in the world and believe in his vission so much that he dies for it !!! This makes me cry !!!

Joseph (Ben Kingsley, Paul Mercurio, Martin Landau) - the scene at the end where Joseph is reconciled to his brothers is utterly astounding... gives you a great view of how we fall at the feet of Christ and He takes us (His brothers) back even after what we've done to Him Luther (Joseph Fiennes) - recent movie about Martin Luther and the protestant reformation in the 16th century Peter and Paul (Anthony Hopkins does a wonderful job as Paul)

My husband and I had a lot to say all throughout the film and then when the ending came we were just speechless... We both sat there staring at the TV (saw it on DVD) for what seemed like forever... We just have it so easy today.
