Remember people...some people accept Jesus as "Saviour" without the Holy Ghosts leading...without knowing Who He is...in essence...some people accept "another Jesus".

Well...that's a welcome surprise!  Wasn't expecting that...but I'll take it!  Glory be to God!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Why not ? I don't think we've disagreed on a whole lot lately  My last post wasn't directed at anyone in particular...I was just saying- some people tend to make salvation an issue of something one must do...and it's not. It's all about Jesus. That's all I was trying to say :)

God bless you my friend,

Tim

There's not a whole lot I disagree with you on.  You believe in OSAS and so do I.  You believe in the Godhead and Jesus' Deity.  Didn't mean to insinuate anything negative...just thought you'd give me a few gentleman nudges before coming to terms with each other.  Sorry if my comments came across rude.  God bless you brother!!!

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

No my friend- you never seemed rude at all- I promise :) I never meant to insinuate that I thought you insinuated anything  HA! Now I'm really confused!

Anyway, no worries my brother...no offence was ever taken at all :)

Be blessed,

Tim

We aren't strong enough for meat over night... :24:

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I am not sure if this was meant towards me? If so, I am not a new christian, and as someone else has touched on, being a christian is a process (hopefully with growth). I have to say that I have grown a lot over the years. I am not where I want to be, or where God wants to lead me, but I am light years away from where I was (Thank God).

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I disagree that being a Christian is "a process."

You're either a saint, or you ain't. It's that simple.

However, there is a process that is called sanctification. That is where God is molding us more and more into the image of His Son, Jesus Christ.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Maybe I can say it better this way. Being a christian is like being born, it does not end there, if it does there is something wrong. Like a physical baby, we need to grow and develop in of spiritual life.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yes, but you are never "more" of a Christian then you are the moment you are born-again. You may mature in the Lord, but you are just as saved as you ever were.

Jesus said you must believe in His deity in order to be saved. But, nowhere is belief in the Trinity explicity demanded for salvation.

But, seeing as Jesus said you must believe He is God... and assuming that the person also believes that the Father is God... it stands to reason that they believe in the Trinity... unless they are Oneness.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Hey T&O, long time no see... well is this considered seeing  ... well I think you know what I mean :) .

I know I don't post here as much as I would like to, but I do read alot. For those who don't know, I am a "Oneness" Pentecostal. I do not believe in the Trinity. Does that mean I am not saved? Does that mean that I am not a christian? Does that mean my relationship with Jesus Christ, my Lord, is not a real relationship? What about a Trinitarian Pentecostal, are they saved just because they believe in the Trinity?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Brother...If you are saved...you will come to confess the Triune God. God does not lie to believers about Who He is. I am not saying you aren't saved...perhaps you are misled or something...but if you are truly born again...the Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth.

You must have the right God, the right Jesus, to be saved. And this, I am sure you agree with. God bless.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

"If you are saved...you will come to confess the Triune God." Which book of the Bible is this in? :24: You do not have to understand the Godhead to be saved.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Jesus said that the Holy Spirit would guide us into all truth. The Triune God is Truth. If you willfully and knowingly deny and reject the Trinity/Godhead...you are not saved. The Holy Spirit doesn't lead into all lies.

halifax, that's a bit disingenuous. Nowhere in the Bible does it say you must believe in the Trinity to be saved.

Most people who get saved do not understand theological issues. They simply are convicted of their sin and come to Jesus Christ for cleansing and forgiveness.

2Co 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Let's not corrupt the simplicity of Christ by adding in man-made requirements.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
