It appears you either misunderstood me, or you didn't read my entire post?

But as I understand the the EU constitution is DEAD because to be OK every country has to vote for it.

That's why I said this:

"As Daniel had predicted, this was to be a divided kingdom, and as you know, the constitution was not ratified by all member states, which means there is still no permanent leader."

In order to become law, the constitution had to be ratified by all 25 member nations, which appears to be what you're saying also, just in a different way.

As 2 countries said "NO" in no uncertain terms it has been permanently shelved. No more votes on the consitution are going to be taken at all.

As they say, never say never.

Believe it or not, this will be a high priority for the new German leader. You should expect her to push for another go round, as she highly approves of the constitution as it is written. But if you don't like this idea, then you'll probably be glad to hear that I don't believe it will pass the second time around either. In fact, it's what I've been predicting would happen long before they even started counting the votes. I say this because of this scripture:

Daniel 11:21

"And in his place shall arise a vile person, to whom they will not give the honor of royalty; but he shall come in peaceably, and seize the kingdom by intrigue."

This verse leads me to believe that Recommendation 666 will indeed give power to a man before the constitution can become law. There will be no need to vote him into office if an emergency crisis arises, because they already voted on this, and one man has already been chosen.

I would suggest that if you are not comfortable with this, then you all better vote yes on that constitution, and you may not have much time. But then again, according to the scriptures, I believe the constitution is doomed, and it was doomed before it was even written.

I am going to meet an ex MEP next week and will ask him about it.

A Member of the European Parliament should be able to help you better understand the constitution, however, he may not be very familiar with what goes on in the Assembly of the Council. I guess it may not even matter, because we are not in a real disagreement here, just a misunderstanding, I think.

It's my pleasure. I knew next to nothing when I first started watching this some 3 1/2 years ago. But I would highly recommend becoming very familiar with the book of Daniel. And when you do, you'll start noticing some very startling things that are taking place in your neck of the woods. And what's more intersting is the fact that the liberal media and the politians themselves have no clue that their decisions are actually fulfilling the words of God's prophets, that's because most of them are blind to what the Bible says. But God has called us out of the darkness!! Isn't it great to know that we are on the winning side!!

Further Along

Recently, I wrote about something called, "global governance." Instead of talking about forming a world government, internationalists are talking about world governance.

The idea is to establish a new global ethic. That's where everybody -- governments, NGO's, religious organizations, business, educational institutions, willing accept a new world view that is compatible to the globalization process.

With this idea in mind, think about what happened to Hal Lindsey's TV show. As you know, it has been reported that Trinity Broadcasting Network canceled Hal's show because, in TBN's mind, it was too pro Israel and too anti Palestinian. Is this that new global ethic at work in TBN?

There are also reports that a war against Christmas has been declared. Suddenly, almost everywhere at once in America, the Christmas tree has become the Holiday tree. Again: Could this be global governance at work?

If you recall, I also said the concept of global governance really scared me. The reason was, we could be much further along than we thought. While we Christians have been waiting around for a world government to appear, world governance may already be upon us. And, in the case of Hal Lindsey's TV show being canceled and America's sudden war against Christmas, it does appear that new global ethic could be lifting it's ugly head.

It's not only these two instances mentioned above why I believe we could be farther down that prophetic road than some of our evangelical leaders may like to admit. Did you know that the Council of Europe is older than the European Community -- the organization that later became known as the European Union (EU)? Did you know that the Council of Europe is made up of 49 nations? Did you know that, before any nation became a member of the EU, it first became a member of the Council of Europe?

Think about those little, wooden Russian dolls -- the ones where one is inside another, that's inside another. That's kind of the way it is with today's revival of the Roman Empire. On the outside we have the 49-nation Council of Europe. Inside that we have the 25-nation EU. And, guess what? Inside that we find the 10-nation Western European Union. Makes me wonder what's inside that.

One more thing. Did you know that the Council of Europe and the EU share the very same flag? Did you know that, on the Council of Europe's Website, it is stated that the 12 stars on the flag represent the twelve months of the year and the twelve signs of the zodiac?

Friends, we may be much, much further along than we thought.

Israeli report slams EU contacts with Hamas and Hizbollah

Israel believes the EU is violating international law by talking to the Lebanese islamist group Hizbollah and planning talks with Palestinian opposition movement Hamas, according to an internal document seen by an Israeli paper.

Battle for Jerusalem

I'm reminded of a board upon which is played a strategy war game. If so, they would probably call it, Battle for Jerusalem.

The movable game pieces are Palestinian homes, Jewish settlements and security barriers. There are three players -- the Israelis, the Palestinians and the international community.

The goal is to see which side, the Israelis or the Palestinians, can most occupy the Old City part of Jerusalem before the game is declared over by the international community. And, to throw a wild card into the game, the goal of the international community is to push the Israeli side back to their 1967 border line.

It turns out EU diplomats in East Jerusalem filed a report to the EU presidency for the purpose of not only exposing the game, but to help the Palestinian side win. Normally, there would be nothing unusual about this action. Everyone knows that the EU is part of the international community that wants to see the Israeli side pushed back to their 1967 border line. What's unusual is that the EU's Javier Solana sided with the Israeli side this time, and even talked the EU heads into rejecting their own report.

Question: If Solana represents the interests of the EU, and the international community, why is he siding with the Israeli side? Friends, I think we may all soon find out.

Keep in mind, it's a game of strategy.

While We Sleep

Every morning, after my prayer and Bible time, I go to my computer to see what happened in Europe while we in America slept. You see, when our day begins, their day is already over.

Once again, peace and security may be coming to a region of conflict as a result of Solana's European Neighborhood Policy.

For us students of Bible prophecy, the focus of our attention is the conflict in the Middle East. That's because, that's the region of conflict central to the ancient prophecies of both Daniel and Revelation. In fact, that's the location the Apostle Paul was talking about when he said:

While they are saying, "Peace and safety!" then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape ( 1 Thessalonians 5: 3 New American Standard Bible).

Actually, Paul was simply reminding the Thessalonian believers about something Jesus said. When Jesus was asked what the sign of His second coming would be, Jesus said:

Therefore when you see the ABOMINATION OF DESOLATION which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand) (Matthew 24: 15).

That's why Paul continued by saying to the Thessalonians:

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief (1 Thessalonians 5:4).

I wonder what we Americans will awaken to tomorrow -- what will happen next?
