The Prophet Isaiah

Blessing-

  I do hope Im in the Prophecy Section- Im having internet issues & stuck on my phone- its difficult to navigate & it seems somehow I dont end up where I aim for-if so, forgive me and thanks for understanding❤

This morning as Im reading Isaiah, Chapter ONE, Im thinking about how the Prophet speaks as the Voice of God- God is very displeased with His People Israel - the very people He Created to be His Own, the Chosen..... they dont Know their Creator, their King, their Master ( as even a beast of burden does) -they had become wicked except for just a few- if not for those it would be no different than Sodom or Gemmorah!

 Of course God , Loving, Merciful , Compassionate Almighty God is rebuking them because He wants to cleanse them of their sins and make them whole- they are sick mind, body & spirit

At this point God Says He Wont even Listen to them, they are insincere- offering burnt offerings &,things He Does not need or want with empty prayers..... Yet, He is Still Willing to Forgive .

   We know what happens, prophecy was fulfilled .... God Does not want to destroy but to Restore...and as always He Gives an opportunity to CHOOSE

 Thats a very brief summary of Chapter One, I stopped there to hear what everyone thinks we can learn from this- is this prophecy twofold? Should we not learn, as a Nation(,Under God) from history? We( Americans) have Dedicated America to God as a Christian Nation & have been Abundantly Blessed as His Own....and yes, turned from Him into wickedness

Do we still have the opportunity to ask Forgiveness that our Nation be Restored or is God not Listening except to the few that are Faithful..... What( if anything) does this prophecy mean for us today

People have to recognize the errors within themselves, and then want to change those errors, for the Lord to step in and assist in changing that individual. Like you said, the Lord does not want a feigned faith with sacrifices. The Lord wants faith from the heart.

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

"If my people"; are Christians God's people too? Yes, we were grafted into the fold. These would be true born-again Christians. Collectively as one body of Christ (church), and individually, how many do you suppose are humbling themselves, repenting, and petitioning God to heal our nation? The church collectively has sat back and been silent, letting government do its will. Government has effectively replaced the church.

Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.

With the Lord anything is possible: On 9/11 America experienced a very brief revival. God appoints kings and rulers (in our case presidents). I sincerely believe Trump was appointed for a brief American Nineveh moment, to turn and lead America. I highly suspect national judgment is in progress. Our nation has been handed over to a debased mind. How else can one explain critical race theory; gender neutrality; sodomy acceptance, passing laws calling good evil and evil good, lighting up the White House in rainbow colors (slapping the face of God who placed it there), and so much more.

With the following; think of America, or for that matter, Israels biblical history. Even some on the secular side get it. What number is America at?

The Cycle of Nations:

(1) From bondage to spiritual faith.

(2) From spiritual faith to great courage.

(3) From courage to liberty.

(4) From liberty to abundance.

(5) From abundance to selfishness.

(6) From selfishness to complacency.

(7) From complacency to apathy.

(8) From apathy to dependency.

(9) From dependency back again into bondage.

The biblical example is: When kings, leaders or government passes wicked and perverted laws, kicks the One True God out of everything, national judgment soon occurs. There is no such thing as resting on our laurels. We hear our national leaders spouting; One World Government, Build Back Better (better that what), the Great Reset (resetting what). 

I believe our fate is now sealed in concrete.

We hope and pray we have ten righteous before the Lord in America?

   I don't think God Will Destroy America however I do Believe He Will(or Already Has) Lift His Hedge of Protection.

 I suppose theres little difference when you consider the outcome but I see your point . Its just like Dennis' post mentioned & history repeats itself or as Gods Word Says" There is nothing new under the sun"!  Our Heavenly Father Gives us enough plenty, we take His Blessings for granted & are swept away from Him by worldy desires, sin etc and STILL He Shows Mercy, Long Suffering, Patience and is Always Ready to Forgive if we just repent...

For the Body of Christ it is if no consequence really but it is a terrible thing for the rest of the world...

Homosexuality in same sex marriage

Gender Equity

Critical Race Theory

Defund The Police

Sorta sounds like the days Noah entered the Ark, or when Lot left Sodom & Gomorrah

It can't go on much longer

Cant totally disagree

However there are battles being won behind the scenes

Recent red wave in Virginia, the 14+ point favorite Murpy in New Jersey barely squeaked out a win

Voting laws changed in the majority of US States 30+ to stop election fraud, same day ballot count, no ballot harvesting, drop boxes, positive voter ID, just a few mentions

Judicial watch (Tom Fitton) has sued several states regarding voter registration logs and won, rolls are currently being cleaned up, with millions being removed,deceased, moved out of state, etc

Mississippi is being heard before the US Supreme Court presently, regarding abortion restrictions, decision expected soon

The leftist agenda in Supreme court packing, filibuster removal, Puerto Rico, DC, statehood, and Bidens BBB are defeated, we love senators Joe Manchin & Kyrsten Sinema standing for America and what's right, voting against the liberals in a 49/51 vuctory for conservatives, thanks Joe & Kyrsten!

Biden and Harris polls are in the toilet, and the 2022 primaries will see the handle being pulled for the flush in a republican controlled house and senate

Lots of good not mentioned, the picture is turning around

From my perspective, I'd say America is a solid #9.
