I got out the magnifying glass and I think I detected a small herd of Cattle and Goats, along with some camel and two guard donkeys.

The people of Israel are those gathered from the nations who became a nation in 1948.

The Golan Heights was taken by Israel from Syria in the 6-day war in 1967.  Since then the people dwelling there have built houses, villages, tended the land with crops and livestock.

Note that the Golan Heights does not have walls but mountains and villages. There is good water, farmland and deposits of oil and gas. All good `booty` that Russia will desire. Britain and Arabia question the Russian Federation about this. (Ez. 38: 13)

But Russia will not fear International retaliation, as the UN (United Nations) does not consider Israel the legitimate owner of that region. The UN calls Israel `an occupying power` and has long desired for that territory to be given back to Syria. 

However it is in God`s timing that He will draw the Russian Federation down to be judged.

Right. At the end of the 1000 millennial reign as the Word says. And Gog will be buried. Will he be back in 1000 years?

So after the millennium Israel will be making fires with the weapons for 7 years? (Ez. 39: 9) Into eternity?

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

So, Satan is loosed out of his prison at the end of 1000 years. Has eternity begun because the 1000 years is over?

I disagree, the war fought in Ezekiel chapter 39 was fought long ago, the wooden weapons of Shields, Bows, Arrows, Bucklers, Handstaves, And Spears, were burnt in the fire "Long Ago", this isnt a future event seen

If you check out what Chapter 39 says about this war it can only be Armageddon.

 

"My holy name I will make known in the midst of My people Israel; and I will not let My holy name be profaned anymore" and "And the house of Israel will know that I am the Lord their God from that day onward.  The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity because they acted treacherously against Me"

 

The House of Israel is living with the Lord for a thousand years.  I would think that they know that He is the Lord THEIR God. 

 

All of these are things that cannot happen prior to the 70th Week or after the 1000 years. Pretty much narrows it down to Armageddon

It's certainly an excellent point Joe and I have noted it in the past. But there is this verse that must be addressed.

Rev 20

7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

And there's this

Eze 38

11 And thou shalt say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to them that are at rest, that dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates,

It's a tough call.
