What should we speak: what we learned years ago or what Jesus reveal to us now?

•    Pro 18:4  -> “The words of a man's mouth are deep waters; the fountain of wisdom is a bubbling brook.”.

Deep waters are full of contamination and pollution. After all, when we let the water stopped, all the dirt is deposited in the deep. Likewise, everything that the human being speaks, suffers influence of their past experiences (or, at least, it is influenced by it).

At first, someone could think that this is good. The problem is that the Creator is a God of renovation:

1 – He renews His mercies:

•    Lam 3:22,23 -> “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”.

2 – He clean us, carrying out His washing of renegeration and renewal:

•    Tit 3:4-6 -> “But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,”.

3 – He dressed us of the new “self” which is being always renewed in order to be able to know Him better (2Cor 4:16):

•    Col 3:10 -> “and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.”.

4 – Our mind needs to be renovated:

•    Rom 12:2 -> “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”.

5 – Our days should be renewed:

•    Lam 5:21 -> “Restore us to yourself, O LORD, that we may be restored! Renew our days as of old”.

6 – Our strength ought to be renewed waiting in Jesus (Ps 37:4,7):

•    Isa 40:31 -> “but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”.

7 – The Creator renew the face of the ground with His spirit:

•    Psa 104:30 -> “When you send forth your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the face of the ground.”.

8 – It is He who renews our youth:

•    Psa 103:2,5 -> “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.”.

9 – The rectitude in our spirit needs to be renewed:

•    Psa 51:10 -> “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.”.

Not to mention that “the fountain of wisdom” (Jesus – Col 2:3) is a bubbling brook, whose waters always renew.

Hence Paul said:

•    Php 3:13,14 -> “Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”.

Although we ought to fill our mind with Jesus’ ken and wisdom, if the Holy Spirit didn’t vivify all of this with His presence, everything will be dead, useless.

So, with many things to show about Jesus and His wisdom, have a good day going every day to His throne of grace (Heb 4:16) in order to have, always, something new of Him to reveal and manifest to the world. Don’t stay held in your past. Remember that:

•    2Co 3:5,6 -> “Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but our sufficiency is from God, who has made us sufficient to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. *For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life* .”.

The basic message is Jesus saves.      That does not change.

the next message is stay in a close relationship with Jesus.

All other messages are varriations of these two.

So keep telling the Old, Old story.

I believe we should speak what we have learned through Christ opening our eyes to the truth and what he reveals to us today, for indoctrination of the past and its Churches sometimes preach false teachings that we must let go of.

"What should we speak: what we learned years ago or what Jesus reveal to us now?"

If what I learned years ago is right according to the sum of the Holy Word, I will hold fast to it, and also what the Lord reveals to me today.

Thank you for the share, as always!

What should we speak: what we learned years ago or what Jesus reveal to us now?     Whichever is the truth.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
