She has briefly considered a charismatic church because of some air purifying system they have had, But she really doesn't even want to go there. I am allowed to go, But my parents don't think we should, and I have to get myself there and I do not have a car anymore. This is their honest opinion. We {we all think this part}, We all think this part, We all think that churches should not resume communion, That churches should stop telling you to shake hands and greet each other, And to stop bringing food to the side groups that get together at church. At least with the side groups, You know what you are getting yourself in to. My mom kept having plans to attend a church of Calvary again, But then she found out that they were doing communion. In that, I agree with her. We are basically..... Not going to church again...............................,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, We all agree on the greeting and communion part, However my mom does not like the Nazarene church, Nor any of the friends I once used to have from there. She doesn't like them at all. Edited April 25, 2022 by believeinHim

It is possible to go and NOT take the communion ( I have coeliac disease so cant eat the bread andalso cant take the wine as I am alergic to grapes ) Praying you find a compromise and a church that you feel is a good one to attend

A lot of our members have had Covid, but so far nobody has caught the virus at one of our services. People take sensible precautions, like staying at home if they feel unwell. Have you been vaccinated? It gives you a lot of protection. The virus will never go away, and at some point we do have to get back to normal life and trust our immune systems. Few would deny we do not see the "day approaching." I do not fear this virus. As was mentioned above, take common-sense precautions if you wish. As with any flu or cold, when I get the symptoms and know I am getting something, I isolate myself until I am sure I am no longer contagious. Pestilence coming in frequency and intensity is one of the signs of the last days. There are no conditional clauses in the verse above, such as unless or if. At the Last Supper, Jesus didn't ask His disciples if everyone was feeling alright. Without fear, I will fellowship with my brothers & sisters in Christ and participate in the believer's communion whenever and wherever it is offered. Isolation and treating everyone as if they were typhoid Mary is also not in our nature. People hurting, losing loved ones, lost lives and homes from all these tornados and having difficulties do not take a break during pandemics. I will gladly risk anything to comfort them, showing them agape love not only with a word; but with a hug, handshake, and anything I can do to ease their pain, grieving, and suffering. They would not approve of your mothers choices any more than you do.

The overall mortality rate for Covid virus might often be relatively low *if one is taking say an entire population of a country including the children's data.. However the actual mortality rate / risk for an individual.. differs depending on criteria such as age group or certain medical issues etc.. and the rate can be quite high.. For example.. Below is a link which compares the Covid death rate for different age groups in the Usa compared to the 18-29 years old group.. (Please note that I dont know if the data in the link includes both vaccinated and unvaccinated folk.. or..? ) But just wanted to show that there can be a lot of difference in risk.. for different people.. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/covid-data/investigations-discovery/hospitalization-death-by-age.html As for the OP family.. I am wondering how high a risk there might be for the parents etc..? Is there someone in the family who is especially medically vulnerable? And if so is the high risk person/s already vaccinated.. or not ? Just some thoughts. No offence intended Brother. Thanks.
