Sorry, but in this scripture, Jesus was talking to JEWISH MEN about THEIR future. In Matthew's parallel verses, when Jesus mentioned the abomination that would divide their week, that is conclusive evidence that Jesus was talking to Jews about their age.

For confirmation, we need only to thing of the holocaust.

I think you are missing something: there is no "Israel" number 2 anywhere on any maps. Therefore, the very government you mention is the government GOD must work with to bring His plans to pass.

Jesus is specifically talking about what takes place in Israel in both Luke 21 and Mathew 24.

The persecution Jesus is talking about takes place in Israel and is performed by israelis upon israelis.The unbelieving Jews persecuting the believers in Christ.Jesus wasn't joking when he said their own family members will cause them to be put to death.

 

Its no different than Jesus being rejected,judged and condemned to death by Jews.He came unto his own and his own recieved him not.

Did you not read Paul?

2 Thes. 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

There is no temple yet. No daily sacrifices have been as Daniel 9:27 states. No man has entered the Holy of Holies and declared that he is God. It simply has not yet happened.

Truthfully, NO ONE KNOWS who the Antichrist will be. I will agree that some people THINK they know.

What does the WORD say?

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

Zero in on verse 6. "The end is not yet..." Jesus was telling them that He was not yet talking about "the end" but rather the age in which they were living.

Notice how these verses begin with prepositions, tying all these verses back to "the end is not yet." 

In other words, nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, are all church age events. Jesus has not yet arrived at talking about the end. (Keep in mind, the Jewish age will end with the time of Jacob's trouble, the 70th week of Daniel.)

In other words, the beginning of sorrows is the church age. All these small earthquakes began after 1948. And their number has increased greatly.

In other words, "they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake, is church age. It began almost as soon as the church began.

In other words, many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another, is for the church age. 

During the 70th week, the world will go to war to wipe Israel off the map. Imagine the chances of a Jew alive in Berlin in 1943: his or her chances to live were just about ZERO. It is going to be that way around the world soon. Yet, as Paul wrote, "all Israel will be saved."

Its not personal, we are speaking about the KOTS, he doesn't understand it at all. And to boot, he thinks a man called by God unto Prophecy, just puts forth my own ideas as God's ideas.

Then he says just what I knew was his problem, he thinks the Church goes through the 70th week, and states that us Pre Tribbers have no ideas about the end time, and to boot, he probably reported my post, because he gets his feelings hurt, I guess. It never occurred to me to report a post, that shows ones maturity level in Christ tbh. I can see it now, Paul and Peter had a fallout and one reported the other. 

He of course thinks he is right but is wrong, there will be a Pre Trib rapture, that's not guessing, that is a fact. And I notice those who can't get the Raptures timing right never get anything right about eschatology. 

I wouldn't sweat it, I told him he doesn't understand End Time Eschatology in the least, I stand by that. That is what he doesn't have a clue means, (about End Time Eschatology). Here is what they probably do not like, I say If you cant get the timing of Rapture right, I do not trust anything you say about end time eschatology. Now, you may understand FULL WELL, about how to gain peoples to Christ, you may have a great ability to help the needy, BUT........We all have different callings, most of these people who put forth End Time Understanding are not called unto this as I am, I see crazy stuff all the time, they are trying to go (in most cases) against the grain, it doesn't work, God calls us each for His own purposes. So, when I say he doesn't have a clue, that only pertains to end time eschatology.

SMH........You are a very good candidate for me to place on IGNORE. Not only to you not understand Eschatology, but it seems you like to report posts like the modern day woke culture, everything offends you. P.S. anyone who does not understand he Pre Trib Rapture, can't get me to listen to anything they have to say about Eschatology.
