But first let's talked about Jesus, about Jesus going to the place where Abraham and Issac and Jacob and the children of the promise of Abraham including David were after their death.

Abraham and Issaac and Jacob and David existed not in the days of Noah. (1 Peter 3:19,20)

The question is what happen to Jesus right after his death on the Cross...

Earlier Jesus had said that when he will die he will go for three days to the heart of the earth...

Do you know that or you need scripture to read it for your self.

Mathew 12 :40

Yet no sign will be given to it except the sign of the prophet Jonah, 40 because just as Jonah was in the stomach of the sea creature for three days and three nights,[b] so the Son of Man will be in the heart of the earth for three days and three nights.

Do you see anything about what he said to Noah to mention what you are saying about Angels, fallen Angels...

No there is nothing in the Lord's addressing Noah about Angels and neither about Peter's sayings in 1 Peter 18-19.

God and Peter only talked about humans, about the same group of people who died in the flood..who were not sleeping after their death..

The 1 Peter passage mentions a group who is

A in some kind of prison and

B. Did something during the time of Noah's flood to be there.

19 After being made alive, he went and made proclamation to the imprisoned spirits— 20 to those who were disobedient long ago when God waited patiently in the days of Noah while the ark was being built. In it only a few people, eight in all, were saved through water,

Believers are never imprisoned spirits. If this were talking about men, why not say he visited the imprisoned or imprisoned men. SPIRITS are specifically mentioned here.

Who would be imprisoned? and why?

If additional persons were involved , who could they be?

I am willing to change my views if there is corroborating scripture to another view that can be proven beyond doubt.

And who was disobedient long ago? The narrative of the flood includes the actions of more than just men.

I believe we have eliminated the patriarchs as a possibility, since they don't fit in with this explanation.

Otherwise, these dead in Christ would have to be another group of dead.  I don't find a scriptural precedent for it.

1 Thessalonians 4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

This has been bugging me since I read the translation that definitely sounds just like we are gathered with 'the dead'  'in Christ' who are raised up, AND I could only find 2 who were dead, who were in Christ, and who would not be raised out of the corruption/death/hell/grave, so they could receive their immortality.

so issues that have not been satisfied are
BOTH the just and the unjust are raised out from the dead/grave/hell/corruption and don't stand in judgment for 1000 years.  There is no other 'resurrection' of any dead between this point in time and the GWTJ, so these dead will be the dead who stand to SEE if their names are in the 'book of life' or they have their 2nd death.  WON'T KNOW until then.

also, the unjust can't receive immortality,

also, those who are raised from the corruption can't receive immortality

so,  no one who is 'raised up' when Christ returns besides the alive and remaining who are changed, are given their immortality

except for the 2.

Revelation 11:9 And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.

So these are Dead, but not in graves so they do not rise up from the 'corruption' of the grave/hell/death

Revelation 11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.

Revelation 11:11 And after three days and an half the spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.

Revelation 11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

Revelation 11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Revelation 11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe cometh quickly.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery;

We shall not all sleep, (showing us this is SPEAKING TO THE MOMENT CHRIST RETURNS)

but we shall all be changed, (THE ALIVE AND REMAINING)

1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound,

and the dead shall be raised incorruptible,  (IS THIS ANOTHER GROUP?)

and we shall be changed.

1 Corinthians 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. (THOSE BEING CHANGED)

1 Corinthians 15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality,
(WE KNOW BECAUSE IT IS THE FINAL 'CHANGE TO TAKE PLACE)

then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

I do not think it was you who pointed out this way of looking at it,  but it worked out better, as far as I understand it anyhow.

now we have

dead in Christ rising, but NOT from corruption, so they can receive immortality

have the dead rising FROM corruption, who can't receive immortality for 1000 years, the dead who stand in judgment

have the alive and remaining changed, who do receive immortality and spiritual bodies

have those who have FOLLOWED HIM to heaven returning with Him IN their spiritual bodies (so they rose in their spiritual bodies JUST LIKE CHRIST DID)

AND

another link I was led to as to the timing was GLORY.  When is one GLORIFIED?   Turns out it is at DEATH.

John 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

John 13:28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

John 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

John 13:30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

John 13:31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

AND THIS ONE
John 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

John 21:19 This spake he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he saith unto him, Follow me.

WITH GLORY coming AT DEATH it also sets the time as to

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:
our natural flesh is corruptible, our spiritual body and spirit are IMMORTAL WHEN WE ARE RAISED UP

1Corinthians 15:43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

1Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

the spirit, i. e. the vital principle by which the body is animated

John 12:26 If any man serve me, let HIM follow Me; and where I am, there shall also MY SERVANT BE: if any MAN serve Me, HIM will my Father honour.

of the body as the habitation of the soul, 2 Corinthians 5:1.

I know we totally disagree
but I hope you are like me and if what you believe is what will be happening to you makes you happy because I know my beliefs make me VERY HAPPY and peaceful and content and have no fear of death or 'resting' away from the Lord BECAUSE I can't wait to have the Lord appear to me and have Him take me to the Father and to receive the things done in this body in my spiritual body  and to rest from my labors for a bit also I can't wait to return with Him and to watch all knees bow,  and to see God avenge the souls who were martyred for HIS Name and His testimony....

And I truly can't stand the thought of another 'earthly' body I have been waiting for my spiritual body for soo long already.

Again, I know we don't agree but hopefully it doesn't make all that much of a difference.  Just thought I would let you know a couple things the last few days brought forth

Just so you know I UNDERSTAND, (and please correct me if I am wrong)

you (and dare I say everyone else)

believe the saved dead are resurrected on the last day when Christ  returns by 'the spirit' without body being returned from heaven and the body without a spirit rising up from hell and the two joining up together AGAIN where they become an eternal glorious living soul once again.  x12 billion or so??

What do you propose is the heart of the earth? Jesus, just like Jonah, preached here on this earth. Jonah preached to no one in the stomach of a sea creature. The sign of Jonah is Jonah preaching.

Do you believe that Jesus was raised from the dead?

For Jesus to say that he will go to the heart of the earth, he is saying that he will not be found in Heaven at the time of his death and he will not be found on earth, anywhere not in the Tomb...that it is included in the statement that Jesus will not be found anywhere in the earth.

And the only other is the underworld where Abraham was and the dead of the world were...

David call the place where he was together with A Abraham "Sheol" and he said that he will be watching for the coming of Jesus right after his death on the Cross...

David said that the Lord will not leave my soul in Sheol...

So David together with Abraham were waiting for the Lord to fulfill his promise...

And God's promise was fulfilled in Jesus Christ...

Certainly Jesus could not go while in his body to Abraham in Sheol to where they were waiting for him. PETER said in 1 Peter 3:18...about there that Jesus had to die first and he had to go to the in the Spirit...because they were also in the Spirit...without their physical bodies...

Any more questions...

Yes, I do. But you are trying to get me to believe that he was raised from the living.

Jesus was raised from the dead, from the place of the dead...

That would be an excellent logical conclusion. That also dismisses any debate if it was an in’y or out’y. 😊

That brings up a contention that evolutionists never address with their God-less model.

How does a reproductive system evolve over millions and millions of years? Which develops first, the egg or seed, the ovaries or fallopian tubes, DNA, and genes? If it changed and evolved, what was it originally?

Same with the cardiovascular system. How can a heart, the plumbing system, the lungs, the blood with its many components, and the immune system evolve over millions of years? Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

No wonder critical thinking, opposing views, and debate are off the table in public schools and institutions of dumber learning. It takes more faith to believe a lie.

If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State. ~ unknown

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
