Sadly, as scripture teaches, not everyone is appointed to eternal life, so many Jews remain spiritually blinded.  God has mercy on who He has mercy and hardens who He will.  (I'm not Jewish but I'm so thankful He miraculously opened my blind eyes and revealed Himself to me!)

They will not come to Jeshua through the intellect as such, but they really need a demonstration of His Ruach Hakodesh and for the Father to draw them.  A soul can only be saved through the power of God, because it's a matter of the heart (inner man of the spirit) rather than the carnal mind.

This is a lie, we are not here to "convert" you, but you and  Outreach for Judaism, with rabbi Tovia Singer and the "revived Sanhedrin" are on a aggressive campaign to slam anything "missionary" in order to "protect our Jews" from the clutches of anything smelling in the name of " Christian"
No one here has tried or even attempt to "convince" you to anything, but have shown you courtesy and respect, the least you can do is repay in kind, otherwise you are not Torah observant.

That's interesting. From their website:

"Rabbi Singer is widely regarded as one of the leading voices countering the efforts of missionaries that target Jews..."

Who are the missionaries that target Jews? What is that supposed to even mean?

43“Stop grumbling among yourselves,” Jesus replied. 44“No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the Prophets: ‘And they will all be taught by God.’e Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from Him comes to Me— 46not that anyone has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father.

People go to him because they are drawn to him by someone else.

Question: Where is it written in the Prophets that they all will be taught by God?

This thread began in a vague way in addressing the subject of ministering to, witnessing to " Jewish People", which means Jews who have forgotten their roots, Jews who practice Judaism, Jews who are homosexual, Jews who hate Christians, in a nutshell ALL JEWS or Jewish People.

Some here are especially equipped to maybe address the specific things those who are Jewish believe in and deal with, yet each one is an individual. I have tended to lump them together because I have taken note of some commonalities in my own experiences, yet they are all just a little bit different and a one-size-fits-all will never work.

The Jewish person who came here blocked me immediately as soon as I told her that if her dead husband was a true Christian following the Bible, he would have looked for and taken a Christian wife. Apparently this was highly offensive and I can understand the pain involved in losing a spouse Christian or no. The thing I find odd about her blocking me was that if the shoe were on the other foot, Her Rabbi and family would only encourage her to marry a Jewish man.

I have seen a pattern here where she is almost looking to be offended so she can attack someone. If no offense exists, she will create one. I made a comment about corrupt Jews( I mean we have corrupt people in every ethnicity) so I didn't feel this was singling out Jews in general. The subject came up because of a reference to the rich families who control the finances of the entire planet and one family in particular, The Rothschilds are Jewish. It's a fact. Go look it up. This was taken as an attack on all Jews. It wasn't. At every step of the way, no matter what anyone says there is some kind of an offense made of it.

So I am hesitant to have any more dialog with a person who thinks everything is a personal attack on them, and someone please tell me that this is a minority incident and not how the majority of Jews behave.

To make matters worse, not long ago I had someone who was an atheist who wanted to comment on worthy, but atheists are locked out which in light of the exceptions made here I don't understand?

Why would someone go to a Christian web site, put up a thread " Ask Me Anything About Judaism" and then expect believers to have much curiosity? We have rejected the  ancient Jewish law which has been mostly replaced by the blood of Christ, so while maybe some had a little curiosity about how Jews live, many are well aware of what they believe which is WHY we are NOT practicing Jews.

I mean, lets have a thread where an atheist comes on and we can ask them questions, or how about a Buddhist? I don't know about you, but I have already found the truth. Why would I care to ask questions about an empty  religion run by empty seplicurs? And has this person ever once asked US a question about anything we believe? I didn't think so.

Wonder how the Worthy Mods are coping with this kind of behavioral patterns.

I think the worthy mods are quite patient, with all of us. George IMO, has shown himself to be very patient and tolerant.

Slibhin, I am sorry for the abuse you have endured.

I find it increasingly hard myself to believe those who

do not share the love of Yeshua Jesus for others and in particular

for the Jewish people... that they are true believers.

Jesus taught love.

Love even for enemies.

Hate comes from the accuser, not the Son of God.

My Beloved Bride and I were discussing the huge set back Roman Catholicism

caused the true faith. That when a Jew sees a Christian they think of the Pogroms,

the Inquisition, even the holocaust.

Those who dispense hate in the name of Jesus are not serving the true Yeshua Jesus.

Again, Slibhin, I am sorry.

For the record I don't hate anyone. Love is sometimes tough.

Look at how far your techniques have gotten you JohnD. I don't appreciate the insinuation that I dislike Slibin or anyone else or that I am somehow dispensing hate for calling a spade a spade.

In fact, you have passed judgments on others.

Jews, gentiles, God loves them all. I do my best to love my enemies, although I never considered this person to be an enemy.

If you feel an apology is in line , then I won't try to stop you. I personally don't see an apology as in order from me. In fact, I should GET and apology, but I never expect that to happen.

The truth is the truth. Lies are lies. Offensive rude behavior should never be apologized for or to.

@JohnD Please explain the nature of the supposed "abuse" you seem to see here?

I think Im probably late to this party as Ive by no means read most pages......I would not imagine you being abusive towards anyone so I;m not even sure whats happening right now.....as for me,I just dont see any point in trying to convince anyone of WHO our Lord & Savior is especially if they dont really want to hear it-if they did they would ask, right?

Im sorry for anyone who has been offended because I'm pretty sure it is not anyones intention to offend.......sometimes its best just to pray Gods Intervention as we kick the dust from our shoes Brother-however,I do admire those who continue to "try" in their efforts to point to Jesus....God Bless you my Brother

Thanks kwik for your comments. I have been known to be rather straightforward, but never rude. At least not intentionally.

The gospel is the main thing that people find offensive I believe, and as you say, if they don't want to hear it they won't.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
