2 Esdras 12:46-49 Take courage, Israel, lay aside your grief, you descendants of Jacob. The Most High keeps you in mind, He has not forgotten or abandoned you. I pray for Zion in her desolation and beg for mercy, the sanctuary now fallen so low. Go to your homes, all of you and in a few days, I will return to you.

 

2 Esdras 13:2-4 In my vision, I saw a Man flying with the clouds of heaven and wherever He looked, everything trembled and wherever the sound of His voice reached, everyone who heard it melted as wax at the touch of fire.

2 Esdras 15:22-27 The Lord says: I shall show sinners no pity, My sword will not spare those murderers who stain the ground with innocent blood. The Lord’s anger has burst out in flame, scorching the earth to its foundations and consuming sinners like burning straw. Woe to the godless who flout My commands, I shall show them no mercy. Away from Me, you rebels, do not pollute My sanctuary with your presence. The Lord knows who offend against Him and has consigned them to death and destruction.

        Already calamities have spread over the world and there is no escape from them, God will refuse to rescue those who have sinned against Him.

2 Esdras 15:40-43 & 50 Huge clouds; mighty and full of fury will ravage the land and its inhabitants and a terrible storm will sweep over all that is high and exalted, with a deluge of fire and hail. It will flatten to the ground; cities and walls, hills and mountains, trees and crops in the fields. When the scorching heat bears down upon the earth, its strength and splendour will wither like a flower.

 

2 Esdras 16:74-78 Listen you who I have chosen! The days of harsh suffering are close at hand, but I, the Lord, will rescue you from them. Have done with fears and doubts – God is your guide! As followers of My commandments and Laws, you must not let your sins weigh you down or let wickedness gain ascendancy.

        Woe to those who are entangled in their sins and overrun with wicked deeds! Unless they can clear away the path to righteousness, they will be separated off in readiness for destruction by fire.   Ref: REB Apocrypha. Some verses abridged.

 

Israelites, the literal descendants of Jacob, does refer to the Jewish people, but only those who follow My Commandments and keep My Laws. However, since Jesus came and extended His salvation to all who will accept it, John 3:16, then we Christians are the Spiritual descendants of the Patriarchs and the Israelites of God. Galatians 6:14-16

It's interesting that you are using books that have been removed from the bible to teach biblical truths.  Do you believe that the Apocryphal/Deuterocanonical books were removed in error?

Now that Keras monologue seems to be finished Id like to adress a question posed by the OP in the first post " The books have been placed for WHATEVER reason in the Apocrypha"...Well not for whatever reason - Don Stewart explains the many reasons these Books are not recognized as THE God Inspired Written Word or simply " Scripture"

No, because there are a few parts of Esdras, in particular; that do conflict with the Bible. 

I posted only that which does conform to scripture and reinforces what all the Prophets tell us.  We do well to read and digest what all of the Apocrypha has to say, especially at this critical time of human history.

We do not teach or encourage anyone to read from any thing outside the 66 Books that we know to be God's Inspired Word

I was raised catholic & of course the Apocrypha is in the rcc Bible,72 Books  in their Bible -6 Books added that cannot be validated as God's Word.... Sure,there are " parts" that sound great but we don't get to pick and choose what we want to believe is true- the Truth is God's Word

These Books as a whole( not parts of it)do not line up with sound Doctrine.....We must be very clear to our readers that the Apocrypha is to be viewed as extra- Biblical writings

So, if I were to post part of the Gospel of Mary or the Gospel of Judas, that do not contradict with scripture, you feel it is OK even if it promotes the reading of such books?  What of those who just come to read and have no idea what scripture really says, would you encourage them also to read non-canonical books?  People love the idea of mysterious information, some special spiritual instructions like that found in the Gnostic Gospels.   Should they also be studied if they are found with a little truth, as in most lies?

I see your encouragement as walking on very thin ice, gambling that people are wise enough in the ways of the Lord to know when the truth is twisted.

Most of the Apocrypha is historical, the Maccabees, Toblt and a lot of the rest is Words of Wisdom.  Ezra was a Prophet and his books as a whole do conform to all the Bible prophecies.  Ezra does, in fact; clarify a lot of Bible prophecy and it is my aim and object is to promote what all the Prophets wrote. 

The sad fact is that most Christians have no proper knowledge of what the Lord has planned for our future.

I understand what you are saying,knowing fully who Ezra was- the problem here is we cannot validate the 4th and Apocalypse as his .This is why only the 2( Ezra & Nehemiah) are Canon and confirmed to be God's Word....

As OneLight noted and I'll add to " How interesting would it be to know what Judas had to say regarding Jesus Gospel,he walked,talked & lived with Jesus for 3 & 1/2 years! Again,the problem is we don't even know if Judas was the one who wrote upon those scrolls & a good reason it is not considered to be Inspired by God is because it contradicts Scripture- there is no mixture of truth and lies from God's Lips- it either is ALL Truth or all it is Deception

Satan is the father of lies,in the wilderness he had the audacity to use Scripture to try and deceive God the Son!!!!We must learn from Jesus Who Would not even entertain a discussion with the enemy by saying" It is Written" He Referenced God's Word,period!

Yes.  I only differ in the small point of immediately being present with the Lord at death. Basically, this belief is correct, as the next conscious moment for a dead person; is when they stand before God in Judgment. As Hebrews 9:27 and Revelation 20:11-15 say. 

Regarding my promotion of Apocryphal Writings, Ezra has a very interesting and pertinent message for us today.  He is, in my opinion; far more accurate in his Prophecies than anyone else, since the first Century.  People read books by C.S.Lewis, D. Carson, and hundreds of others, why reject and ignore the Apocrypha?
