Ok, that makes more sense.

Unfortunately I wasn’t brought to Jesus that way...God did the choosing, drawing, and birthing....a supernatural act from God....

@Rosie1jack2pauline3

There are many other situations as the situation the Gentiles had found them selves into.. For Generations they had been called derogatory and insulting names by the Jews like pigs or filthy animals broad up or born to destruction and to receive the wrath of God without any hope for them and then we have some "Jews " because they show the disciples of Jesus Christ as Jews who are preaching the Gospel to them and they were telling them that God wants them to believe very much as he wanted the Jews to believe in him...

That's where the disciples had to invite them to believe and persuade them that Jesus Christ wants them to believe because on the other hand at the same time were other Jews believers who were preaching that Jesus Christ is only for the Jews and he is going to set up the Kingdom for the Jews only...the Jewish kingdom and the Gentiles are not included...

That takes a lot of invitation and a lot of persuasion to let them know that they are now are loved by God and the past is gone and the new has come that God's children the most of them are from Gentile background...

This takes a lot of spiritual warfare...to come against that Spirit that does not want the Gentiles to believe...

Paul beg them to believe sort of...by telling them that he will bring the Gospel to the Gentiles because that what Jesus Christ was telling him to be a light to the Gentiles that God wanted to have children from the Gentile Nations.

Good morning YCF,Be invited to believe in him, so he invites?

I have no understanding of any of that, as I wasn’t invited, I get extremely frustrated at times, because, I don’t understand this invitation or choosing, it just doesn’t speak to my heart,..

So Billy Graham et al got it wrong.

Like millions of people the world over I grew up attending and participating in evangelistic/evangelical meetings and services where the Gospel was preached and immediately followed by THE INVITATION to ACCEPT CHRIST.

Christ Himself makes THE INVITATION as the Gospel is preached.

  Mat 11:28-30
(28)  “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.
(29)  Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.
(30)  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Joh 6:35
(35)  Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will not be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

Joh 7:37-39
(37)  Now on the last and greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me and drink!
(38)  He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, from within him will flow rivers of living water.”

(39)  But he said this about the Spirit, which those believing in him were to receive. For the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus wasn’t yet glorified.

Can you please explain, Billy Graham et all got it wrong, who is he?

Billy Graham was very direct and straightforward in his preaching of the Gospel. Other ministers said he didn't go deep into theology, nor was he particularly charismatic as a man, but the one thing he had in abundance was an anointing to lead millions to Christ through his "crusades" as they were called, not a term considered politically correct now for some time.

It seems you have some homework to do @Rosie1jack2pauline3

Billy Graham - Wikipedia

William Franklin Graham Jr. (November 7, 1918 – February 21, 2018) was an American evangelist and an ordained Southern Baptist minister who became well known internationally in the late 1940s. He was a prominent evangelical Christian figure, and according to a biographer, was "among the most influential Christian leaders" of the 20th century.[2]

Election (and predestination) are always positive, in the Bible; however, if God wants everyone to be saved, why did Jesus speak to many in parables, so that they would not understand?

Because not everyone wants to be saved.  The Jews all thought that their own works would save them.  Jesus spoke in parables to fulfill Scripture and speak truth to those who weren't interested and weren't listening.  John 6:45

Found this an interesting read.

Looks like it’s the Father’s decision on who gets saved.

Of course.  Salvation of humans is His plan.  And 1 Cor 1:21 tells us specifically who God will save:  For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe.

God saves those who believe.

What does it mean that God the Father gave people to the Son?

by Matt Slick | Jan 31, 2015 | Doctrine, Questions

Jesus said in John 6:37, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will certainly not cast out.”  So, who are the ones who were given to the Son by the Father?

It means God gives ALL believers to His Son.  Those are the ones who are saved.

What it doesn't mean is that God determines or chooses who will believe.

God draws us to believe in Jesus, there was no way I could believe in Jesus, it sounds complicated, but it wasn’t, drawn  to belief, then regenerated, then faith....unless  one says  belief is faith, then yes, belief first then regeneration....

Unless one has clear verses that teach what they SAY, there is no reason to accept wht they SAY.

We need to do what the Bereans did with Paul's preaching:  "search the Scriptures daily to see if what Paul SAID was true".

iow, did Paul's preaching match the Scriptures?

We know from the account of Lydia, WHY God "opened her heart to believe".  She was a "worshiper of God".

iow, she, like Cornelius, learned from what God revealed to everyone (Rom 1:1-19-21) and responded to it.  She believed that God existed as Creator and worshiped Him the only way she could.  So God gave her the means by which to understand the gospel, and she and Cornelius both believed when they were presented the gospel.

There is no evidence for either Lydia or Cornelius that God "made" or "caused" either one to believe what they wouldn't have otherwise believed.

Bible > John > Chapter 6 > Verse 44
 John 6:44

And John 6:45 tells us who will actuallly come to Jesus:  those who have listened and learned from the Father.

It is written in the Prophets: ‘They will all be taught by God.’ Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.

It's always about choice.  Some have chosen to listen and learn from the Father, just like Lydia and Cornelius.

God draws us to his Son to believe in him, he chooses,he draws and he births...right from birth I was being drawn to Jesus by God...belief comes from God,100% faith comes from God, which is a supernatural act, it’s called saving faith...he opens our eyes and heart, just like he did Lydia, he also testifies with our spirit that we are his child, an amazing act of mercy and grace.

There are no verses that say that "belief comes from God".  In fact, Rom 10:10 says very plainly that "man believes from the heart".  Not from God.

Let's just stick with what the Bible says.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
