the people there must have heard you ...  apparently they expect the eggs to start hatching anytime from February 29th

Time sure flies... almost there.

Will be interesting to see if all three eggs hatch.

I rewound the video.   One of them was rearranging a couple of sticks.

I was showing this to some of my grandchildren yesterday and they were amazed by it especially when I told them how big the bords actually are and they realised how high the tree was  but the youngest ( she is 4 years old ) wanted to know why they broke their nest ..... I understand what she means as it doesnt look as comfy when you see all the sticks but she didnt realise the white stuff was snow as she has only seen it once in her life

Oh, that's cute....broke their nest! lol

Yes, the nest is smaller than last year.

We are due more rain coming in late Sunday through Wednesday I think it is.

While I especially enjoy hearing it, I know people and animals that are out in it have a hard time.

I guess the rain storms could have whittled away the next.

Btw the largest Bald Eagle nest known was at St.Petersburg, Florida, USA  at three tons. Yet eagles do not make the largest of bird's nests, not even close. One Golden Eagle nest  at Scotland was some 15 feet deep. Incubation mounds of  the Mallee bird at Australia  can weigh in at  300 ton. Really??? 300 tons. that's quite  the mound if that is correct.

Locally we do have lots and lots of Osprey that build large nests of massive tree branches especially on our tall freeway light poles. One dropped a fish directly on my windshield one day. Bombs away?

While kayaking the many inland Florida and Georgia river ways I have come upon  eagles, hawks, and ospreys up real close if only for a moment or two as I skimmed the waters of their fishing holes.

Plus of course my own infamous adventure  with likely forty pelicans roosting for the night in  a cypress tree. Oops! Mr. Bumbles strikes again.

I just forgot myself and wanted a picture at post sunset when they had settled in for safety at night. I forgot my flash was set on my camera.  Click-FLASH, forty startled pelicans set off into the night sky  not knowing how to land again at night onto the trees. Dumb humans in the woods on rivers at night, geesh.

It was the very first permitted midnight river kayak run to be allowed our ranger guide had instructed; "Ssh be very quiet just drift by, do not disturb the birds, especially the pelicans as we make our first bend in the river, the cypress if you look close into the dark is just full of them!"

Oh okay, "FLASH!"

Oh oh! The whole tree just shook with pelicans taking  a startled launch into the dark. Nice photo though of their pre flash peaceful resting.

Anyway, yes I am watching the Big Bear Valley Eagle nest Camera often. And taking my own pictures on occasion.

I once slept, in a sleeping bag perhaps on that very slope. Woke up in the morning at the bottom at a cabin's "yard"-with most all of my clothes still back at the top of the hill. My sleeping bag and I in it had "skied" on the pine needles down the slope slowly as I slept. Oops again. Hiya folks, coffee ready by any chance?

Ha camping, that became taking a 32 foot RV, complete with sewing room for my wife's use, around the eastern seaboard of the USA.

If you saw the scene from Robin William's movie RV with the side awning of his RV flapping in the breeze, my wife actually did that one day. Ripped the awning off it's mounts highballing it through a  wooded Floridah campground. She would wrap that thing up to 85 miles an hour  on the turnpikes and one night  on 301  at Floridah, USA. Used to scare me no end. I would tell her, hey we are driving a giant bag of splinters, let's not crack it up. - Fun memories in retrospect.

Anyway back to nesting birds; they did their transfer at about 6:25 AM  with Shadow bringing another big curved stick to the nest. They transferred  duty without much conversation. Neither having their morning coffee yet I guess.

I do hear  Jackie flying about in the area and calling. So I think she will be back on nest duty pretty soon. Will she too bring a curved stick  for building up a crib rail for the eaglets to be?

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
