Between you & JimmyB, correct. 

Don't know why I felt to point that out between you two, but the article did mention gifts of the Spirit from the link given at the OP.

"The Gifts of the Spirit 

According to Isaiah 11:2, the Spirit of the Lord possesses gifts like wisdom, understanding, Counsel, Fear of the Lord, and more, but there are other gifts of the Spirit as well.

There are nine gifts of the Spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10. They are wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy, discerning spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpretation of tongues.

These gifts are given to believers for the edification of the church. They’re not given so that people can boast about how spiritual they are. They’re given so that the church can be strengthened and grow in unity."

@TheBlade did mentioned the gifts of the Spirit in the second page of this thread.

Probably from another thread that another poster had mentioned tongues for getting him through trials that I had wondered if the conversation between you two was that in mind when you were discussing discipline from the Holy Spirit, but obviously that was not the case.

Thanks for clarifying that tongues for private use was not in mind when discussing how the Holy Spirit disciplines.  I just wanted to make it plain how He disciplines which is by scripture; which you have been using scripture for that purpose.
