It was God's Plan, before the Foundation of the Earth, came into existence.

God, before He began Creating, knew man would Sin.   So before Man was ever Created and could Sin, God created a Plan, to Save Man by the Death and Shed Blood of Jesus!

The inscription didn't say Jesus who claimed to be the king of the Jews just the opposite. The reason the rabbis asked it to be changed from Jesus the King of the Jews.

Pilate didn't change it, rather he believed it or not.

Not when you take the apostle Paul's account as true.

1Th 2:14-16  For you, brethren, became imitators of the churches of God which are in Judea in Christ Jesus. He was a weak-minded man who had a job he didn't care for.  He caved to politics and tried to save himself.

And on the day that Herod's soldiers mocked Jesus with a robe, Pilate and Herod became great friends - having been enemies up until that point.  Luke 23:12  What united them so?  Their despising Jesus and having gotten rid of "the problem".

Pilate didn't call Jesus the "King  of the Jews".  He asked him that and not in a search of the truth.

Pilate didn't want to KNOW the truth.  He didn't ask Jesus.  He said, "What is truth" as in "who can know it".

I have no sympathy for him at all.

More famous Jewish teachers come from Galilee than anywhere else in the world. They were known for their great reverence for Scripture and the passionate desire to be faithful to it. Although Judaea was ruled by the Romans, the governors there had practiced the same kind of religious tolerance as was shown to Jews in Rome. However, Roman tactlessness and inefficiency, along with famine and internal squabbles, led to a rise in Jewish discontent.

 The region was among the earliest in the world to see human habitation, agricultural communities and civilization. The Canaanites established independent city-states that were influenced by the surrounding civilizations, among them Egypt, which ruled the area in the Late Bronze Age. At the time Jerusalem was part of Roman Judea, the charges of the Sanhedrin against Jesus held no power before Pilate. He was therefore not a political threat and could be seen as innocent of such a charge. [Jn. 18:36]

Stepping back outside, Pilate publicly declared that he found no basis to charge Jesus,

Ask a friend to show you where in Scripture does it says that Pilate cut a deal with the local Rabbis and that he would do what they asked for.  Your assumption about the political climate of the time and region does not prove anything.  It is not found in Scripture.

Why would Jesus being King of the Jew's challenge Roman authority? There were kings of the Jew's in Jesus day.

Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. 

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end. 
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house. 

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
