In Genesis, when God created Adam, he created him both male and female. In another words the first man had both the male and female DNA.

How so ?.  What is the scripture verse for this.

I think you are just speculating there and I can see your line of reasoning, but you cannot state that as fact.

Genesis 2

Then the Lord God formed man from the [a]dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life, and man became a living being.

A useful  bit of information as to why Adams rib was used to create Eve, is that tibs will regrow, if removed carefully.

God used Adams rib to form Eve, and his rib regrew  so men don't have a lesser number of ribs than women.

For an article and medical explanation see:-

That is a plausible explanation from the article you posted.  God is supernatural and can just" say "and it is done, so while it may be true that the rib can be regrown in the body, I think we really don't know why he choose this method.

Meanwhile, some in the prophetic ministries say that God did it this way to demonstrate that he made man in his image and likeness, with man being or signifying  both man and woman .  They are also saying that it means also that it is showing that women are not just a small part of man, but is equal to man .

I got it from scripture :

Gen: 1:27

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him(Adam), male and female

Jesus quoted Gen 1:27 when he spoke about marriage.

Gen 5:1-5

This is the book of the generation of Adam .In the day God created man, in the likeness of God, made He him, male and female created He them.

Eve was formed in Genesis 2: 21-22.

Genesis 1 is the book of Beginnings. So the male and female DNA existed at the beginning in Adam

The generation of Adam seems different than formed from dirt, unless dirt has generation.

Is not God a spirit ?.

If God is Father , son and he Holy spirit, how can God be male and female, unless it is a spiritual connection.

So, are we talking about flesh and blood or spiritual beings.  Then, are there two accounts of the creation of man ?.

Who is God in reference to in verse 26 ?.

John 4

24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).

Genesis 1

26 God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.

I am a spirit. I live in a body and I have a soul. God is a spirit but he is not floating in the air. He walk with Adam in the garden in the cool of the day. Revelation 2, John saw him in the throne room scene  as having the appearance of a man and He is sitting on a throne

Revelation and Ezekiel  we have the four faces of God: the face of a lion, the face of a man ,the face of an ox and the face of an eagle.

Here we have four facet of the face of God.

The four faces are reflected also in the gospel. In Mathew He is the king ( the lion of the tribe of Judah). In Mark He is the servant ( face of an ox). In Luke He is the son of man. In John, He is the son of God ( face of an eagle ).

therefore I don't see any problem with God having both male and female emotions and characteristics. There are many reference in the bible, where the emotions of God are described . These emotions and characteristics are both male and female.

Jesus wept over Jerusalem and yearns to gather her as a motherhand would gather her chick's.

When God led Israel through the wilderness , He compared himself as a mother eagle would stir up her nest and teach her young to fly.

For lack of putting together my exact thoughts,  see the below to have that understanding more inclined to my thoughts.  see the link below for the full article.

https://www.gotquestions.org/God-male-female.html

Both man and woman are created in the image of God, in that they are greater than all the other creations as they, like God, have a mind, will, intellect, emotions, and moral capacity. Animals do not possess a moral capacity and do not possess an immaterial component like humanity does. The image of God is the spiritual component that humanity alone possesses. God created humanity to have a relationship with Him. Humanity is the only creation designed for that purpose.

That said, man and woman are only patterned after the image of God—they are not tiny “copies” of God. The fact that there are men and women does not require God to have male and female features. Remember, being made in the image of God has nothing to do with physical characterist

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
