What these people are afraid of is not in a building where it could not be seen by those in the fields.

If what happens is a nuke, and the people are afraid because of it, running from it in the fields, and from their housetop,
Jesus would not have had to instruct them to run.

"When you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel standing in the holy place"

"Then let them which are in Judea flee into the mountains"
Matthew 24:15-16

"when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel, standing where it ought not,
then let them which be in Judea flee into the mountains"
Mark 13:14

"And armies shall stand on his part... and they shall place the abomination that causes desolation"
Daniel 11:31

"When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then know that the desolation thereof is near.
Then let them which are in Judea flee into the mountains"
Luke 21:20-21

Jerusalem was literally surrounded by armies in 1099 during the crusades,
the armies that came there slew both Jew and Gentile.

We can see this in history.

Jerusalem was literally surrounded by armies in 1948,
from that time until 1967 half of Jerusalem was literally desolate and uninhabited.

We can see this in the past.

There will come a last time that Jerusalem is surrounded by armies,
armies that will place something in a holy spot.

Those alive in those days will be able to see it in time.

Jesus is not telling them to run.

Jesus saying that is when those in judea will flee.

Zechariah records the same moment those in Judea flee.

Zech 14

And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.

Jesus in the gospel as well as Zechariah 14 is stating that them in Judea will flee at that time. You don't have to believe and you may not understand why they are fleeing but they will flee at that time.

25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Why is it you can't see the prose for what it is and/or study the words translated for see to see of it means see or understand (I have not looked at it tbh).........HOLD UP, I WILL GO CHECK IT OUT

BACK..............Here you go !!

#1492 εἰδῶ eido {i-do'} or οἴδα oida {oy'-da} a root word; TDNT - 5:116, *; v

—Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)

1) to see 1a) to perceive with the eyes 1b) to perceive by any of the senses 1c) to perceive, notice, discern, discover 1d) to see 1d1) i.e. to turn the eyes, the mind, the attention to anything 1d2) to pay attention, observe......

—Thayer's (New Testament Greek-English Lexicon)

A primary verb; used only in certain past tenses, the others being borrowed from the equivalent, G3700 and G3708; properly to see (literally or figuratively); by implication (in the perfect only) to know:—be aware, behold, X can (+ not tell), consider, (have) known (-ledge), look (on), perceive, see, be sure, tell, understand, wist, wot. Compare G3700.

—Strong's (Greek Dictionary of the New Testament)

So, the very word does not have to mean "TO SEE with the eyes", so it is obvious what this is, this False Prophet on the scene at the 1290 (30 days before the Beast comes to power) orders the 1/3 of the Jews who repented (Zech. 13:8-9 happens JUST BEFORE the Day of the Lord Arrives in Zech. 14:1) at the 1335 (Two-witnesses) events to stop worshiping Jesus in the Temple, that is the only way there can be an Abomination that Defiles the Temple, because God rent the Temple (took His presence away) and he will only return once Israel repents as a nation !! So, the Sacrifice that is TAKEN AWAY (or forbidden) is Jesus worship.

But you have managed to take the word SEE and to not study it in depth, and just imagine it means to LITERALLY SEE with their eyes, when that is of course not what it has to mean per se, but in this instance, since it is NOT a literal Meat Sacrifice, but instead Praise unto Jesus twice daily, the people praising Jesus will indeed perceive or understand that Jesus worship has been forbidden by the False Prophet (Jewish High Priest of the day gone rogue like Jason under Antiochus). So, study these things in depth, even of it was a Meat Sacrifice (its not, that would be a profane Abomination itself) the people would not have to SEE IT to understand it.

Not so, the Anti-Christ will start killing once he takes power as the Beast 30 days later. He will be allowed to rule 1260 days, God says so, that 1260 day rule has been predetermined, thus once that 1260 days is over Jesus will show up and KILL HIM, that will shorten his lifespan and rule on earth will it not? That was what Jesus was referring unto, this wicked Beast only being allowed to rule for a 1260 day period of time, any longer and no flesh would have existed on earth, in other words if he was allowed to rule for 4, 5, 6 or 7 years everyone would have been killed off, if not for God's intervention.

What they see is a Jewish High Priest in league with the E.U. President (IMHO, after Israel joins the E.U. which is the Seven Year Agreement they enter into) who forbids Jesus worship in the Temple and maybe in all Israel. The reason they know is not because of the signs in the skies per se, but because the coming Two-witnesses have told them what t look fir and because as New Converts of the Messiah they have read Matt. 24:15-17 and know what to do.

ONE WORD (SEE) caused you to go down a wrong path brother.

The beast is not in control after the Lord comes and those in judea flee to the mountains to hide in caves.

The beast is destroyed on that day along with everyone in judea who recieved it's mark. The false prophet is cast into the lake of fire on that day as well.

Jerusalem will be secure from that day forward.

Zech 14

And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.

Jerusalem was literally surrounded by armies in 1099 during the crusades,
the armies that came there slew both Jew and Gentile.

We can see this in history.

Shabbat shalom, Desopixi Sellynam.

We can see this EARLIER in history! Luke's rendition of the Olivet Discourse is a key. One should think about this: Why would Jerusalem being surrounded by armies, be a signal to flee to the mountains? And, in this day and age with modern technology, how would fleeing to the mountains help anyway?

This happened in the PAST! It happened to the Jews during the time of the Roman occupation in 66 A.D. prior to the destruction of the Temple in 70 A.D. And, the clues in the Olivet Discourse are to be found in the Greek pronouns and verbs being used.

For instance,

Matthew 24:6 (KJV)

6 And YE shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that YE be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Mark 13:7 (KJV)

7 And when YE shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be YE not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

Luke 21:9 (KJV)

9 But when YE shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by.

Here's the Greek wording of each verse:

Matthew 24:6 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

Mark 13:7 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

7 ὅταν δὲ ἀκούσητε πολέμους καὶ ἀκοὰς πολέμων, μὴ θροεῖσθε· δεῖ γὰρ γενέσθαι· ἀλλ’ οὔπω τὸ τέλος.

Luke 21:9 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

These all transliterate to English as ...

Matthew 24:6 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

6 melleesete de akouein polemous kai akoas polemoon; horate, mee throeisthe; dei gar panta genesthai; all' oupoo esti to telos.

Mark 13:7 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

7 hotan de akouseete polemous kai akoas polemoon, mee throeisthe; dei gar genesthai; all' outoo to telos.

Luke 21:9 (Scrivener's Textus Receptus 1894)

9 hotan de akouseete polemous kai akatastasias, mee ptoeetheete; dei gar tauta genesthai prooton, all' ouk eutheoos to telos.

These then translate to English word-for-word as ...

Matthew 24:6

6 you-will-begin but to-hear of-wars and reports of-wars; you-look, not you-be-alarmed; it-is-necessary for all to-happen; but not-yet is the end.

Mark 13:7

7 when but you-shall-hear of-wars and reports of-wars, not you-be-alarmed; it-is-necessary for to-happen; but not-yet the end.

Luke 21:9

9 when but you-shall-hear of-wars and instabilities, not you-be-terrified; it-is-necessary for these-things to-happen first, but not at-once the end.

The "you" in all three cases is the PLURAL, 2nd-person ending to a verb! So, to whom was Yeeshuwa` talking?

The tax collector Matittyahuw's account says,

Matthew 24:1-6 (KJV)

1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. 2 And Jesus said unto them,

"See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying,

"Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them,

"Take heed that no man deceive you. 5 For many shall come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet."

Yochanan Marcus (John Mark), probably writing for Shim`own Kefa (Simon Peter), wrote,

Mark 13:1-7 (KJV)

1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him,

"Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here!"

2 And Jesus answering said unto him,

"Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately

4 "Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?"

5 And Jesus answering them began to say,

"Take heed lest any man deceive you: 6 For many shall come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and shall deceive many. 7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet."

The physician Lukas, summarizing the accounts of many, wrote,

Luke 21:5-9 (KJV)

5 And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts, he said,

6 "As for these things which ye behold, the days will come, in the which there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down."

7 And they asked him, saying,

"Master, but when shall these things be? and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?"

8 And he said,

"Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. 9 But when ye shall hear of wars and commotions, be not terrified: for these things must first come to pass; but the end is not by and by."

It's important to understand that, when one makes a statement meant to SHOCK an audience, he or she does so ONCE, not many times, unless it is clear from the context that he or she is intensionally doing so to drive the point home. Therefore, it makes sense that He shocks them with "not one stone shall remain upon another" ONCE, and this was recorded in all three accounts. Furthermore, it also makes sense that when He said, "when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet," that He said it ONCE, not multiple times! It's only "new information" one time. After that, it's "old news." Reporters know that it's only ONE news source and ONE reporter who gets the "scoop!"

Therefore, the Synoptic Gospels, including Luke, are all being written about the same event. (There are some that believe that Luke's account is said within the Temple, and the other two are said upon the Mount of Olives. Just let it suffice that they WERE in the Temple and were IN TRANSITION to the Mount of Olives, where He finished His discourse.)

Ya`aqoV ("James") was already martyred by Herod Antipas in 42 A.D. Yochanan the beloved and Kefa were still alive in 66 A.D. although Kefa would be crucified upside down in the following year. Andreas ("Andrew") was crucified in 61 A.D. under Nero.

It was in 66 A.D., that we find recorded:

The fourth-century Church Fathers Eusebius of Caesarea and Epiphanius of Salamis cite a tradition that before the destruction of Jerusalem in AD 70 the early Christians had been warned to flee to Pella in the region of the Decapolis across the Jordan River.

(See Wikipedia's article Flight to Pella.)

Here's Eusebius' words:

"The people of the Church in Jerusalem were commanded by an oracle given by revelation before the war to those in the city who were worthy of it to depart and dwell in one of the cities of Perea which they called Pella. To it those who believed on Christ traveled from Jerusalem, so that when holy men had altogether deserted the royal capital of the Jews and the whole land of Judaea…"

— Eusebius, Church History 3, 5, 3

Epiphanius also wrote:

"So Aquila, while he was in Jerusalem, also saw the disciples of the disciples of the apostles flourishing in the faith and working great signs, healings, and other miracles. For they were such as had come back from the city of Pella to Jerusalem and were living there and teaching. For when the city was about to be taken and destroyed by the Romans, it was revealed in advance to all the disciples by an angel of God that they should remove from the city, as it was going to be completely destroyed. They sojourned as emigrants in Pella, the city above mentioned in Transjordania. And this city is said to be of the Decapolis.

— Epiphanius, On Weights and Measures 15

To get there directly, they had to cross the "mountains of Israel," and they probably avoided the main routes to minimize discovery.

16 hours ago, Desopixi Seilynam said:

We can see this in the past.

There will come a last time that Jerusalem is surrounded by armies,
armies that will place something in a holy spot.

Those alive in those days will be able to see it in time.

The above quotes about Pella may seem to support a preterist viewpoint, but one should understand that this just STARTED in the past at that time! Yeeshuwa` gives a MUCH broader coverage of the time between the moment He spoke these words and the fulfillment of the coming of the Messiah. After all, it would take SIGNIFICANT amounts of time for all this ...

Matthew 24:5-14 (KJV)

5 "For many shall come in my name, saying, 'I am Christ'; and shall deceive many. 6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. 7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

9 "Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. 13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come."

... to come true!

Think about it: the "MANY" who shall come as though with His authority, saying, "I am the Messiah" could only come ONE "MESSIAH" AT A TIME (unless they were separated geographically)! And, there would probably be enough time in between "messiahs" for people once deceived to FORGET the last deceiver before they could be deceived again! It might even require a generation or two for a people to forget. And, let's be honest: who but Jews and Jewish Christians would even CARE about the "coming of a messiah?" Who else would NEED one?

Wars need ambition to pursue, opportunity to make one's move, and time to prepare for the conflict. Very seldom do we hear of a nation going to war against another nation unless provoked! So, these wars and reports of war will also TAKE TIME!

Also, the last statement, "this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations," has not yet been accomplished! To be quite blunt about it, we haven't hardly even BEGUN to herald the "gospel of the kingdom!"

The "gospel of the kingdom" is NOT "the death, burial, and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ!" This gospel started EARLY in the Messiah's First Coming:

Mark 1:14-15 (KJV)

14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, 15 And saying,

"The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel."

Yeeshuwa` heralded ("preached") the good news ("gospel") of God's Kingdom after Yochanan, His herald, could no longer do it himself. But, this was quite early in the 3.5 years of His "ministry." Who at that time knew that He was going to die and be buried within 4 years? Who knew ANYTHING about "being resurrected," let alone that God would raise Him back up to life? And, yet, Yeeshuwa` didn't EXPLAIN what this "gospel" was; He simply said, "Repent ye, and BELIEVE the gospel!" He said that as though they should have ALREADY KNOWN what this "gospel" was!

So, what IS this "gospel of the kingdom?" Well, I believe Paul gave us all the clues we need in Romans:

Romans 10:14-17 (KJV)

14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher (a herald)? 15 And how shall they preach (herald), except they be sent? as it is written,

How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Psalm 52:7)

16 But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith,

"Lord, who hath believed our report?"

17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Now, let's look up this verse quoted in its context:

Isaiah 52:1-10 (KJV)

1 Awake, awake; put on thy strength, O Zion; put on thy beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into thee the uncircumcised and the unclean.

2 Shake thyself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose thyself from the bands of thy neck, O captive daughter of Zion.

3 For thus saith the LORD,

"Ye have sold yourselves for nought; and ye shall be redeemed (bought back) without money!"

4 For thus saith the Lord GOD,

"My people went down aforetime into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause. 5Now therefore, what have I here," saith the LORD, "that my people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl," saith the LORD; "and my name continually every day is blasphemed. 6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that doth speak: behold, it is I!"

7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that bringeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good, that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, "THY GOD REIGNETH!"

8 Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.

9 Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD hath comforted his people, he hath redeemed (bought back) Jerusalem.

10 The LORD hath made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation (RESCUE) of our God!

THIS is what "salvation" TRULY is! It's the RESCUE OF HIS PEOPLE! And, THIS is the message we should be heralding to all nations!

But, let's be honest; Gentile churches today don't know ANYTHING about this promise to the children of Israel! Some have even claimed that the church has been substituted as "God's people." (Replacement theology). Well, Gentiles have been ADDED to the gathering of the children of Israel, but the New Covenant is to THEM, not Gentiles (non-children-of-Israel), UNLESS those Gentiles have been "grafted into the Olive Tree!".

Jeremiah 31:31-24 (KJV)

31 "Behold, the days come," saith the LORD, "that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them," saith the LORD: 33 "But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; AFTER THOSE DAYS," saith the LORD, "I WILL PUT MY LAW IN THEIR INWARD PARTS, AND WRITE IT IN THEIR HEARTS; AND WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, 'Know the LORD': for they shall ALL know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them," saith the LORD: "FOR I WILL FORGIVE THEIR INIQUITY, AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SIN NO MORE."

THIS is the "gospel of the Kingdom" that has YET to be heralded!

Once you replied and stated you quit reading I made up my mind I do not need to reply to you. I will never reply to a post I do not read, its disrespectful. God Bless

You've made that promise before.

I hope you can keep it this time.

When your in a field, you don't need to watch TV to see signs in the heavens. You just need to look up.

You say you should look at your phone. Jesus said to look up.

I didn't say that. I said the ability and opportunity for the whole world to see the A of D will exist via cell phone. Cell phones are carried everywhere by most people.

It's estimated cell phone users will increase to 7.5 billion by 2025.

Cell phones will probably be the platform for the beast and FPs message as well.
