Friday 9-1-23 6th. Day Of The Weekly Cycle, Elul 15 5783, 73rd. Summer Day

1 John 4:1-5

1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:
3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.

Woe indeed! We can no longer afford to ignore being wrong, or be offended by correction. We need to love the truth as our Lord does.

Yeah but the vast majority of churches teach one can live in sin and still go to Heaven because they claim it's impossible for one to lose their salvation.

So people are being taught that it matters not if they are obstinate or straight up rebellions

They teach that God cannot see our sins at all, He just sees us in Jesus and that all our future sins have already been forgiven even before they are committed.

With these kinds of things being taught, it's no wonder lots of people think they can just let their freak flag fly and do all the sin they want!

Sad but true, and it's creeping everywhere! The body of Christ must wake and arise.

That's not likely when the body of Christ has left the Church of Christian teaching to become a part of the Church of accommodation.

The big money is in the accommodation of all without question, not being restricted in obedience to Christ and his teaching only.

That's how I learned OSAS was false doctrine... I got saved as a teenager and the pastor was ignorant and clueless about teaching young believers what to do when the new wears off and the devil comes calling to attempt to choke the Word out of a new believer's life (Mark 4:10-20)

So I back slid for a few years and got into drugs, partying drinking booze, etc, etc and later on when I get right with the Lord and had been living for Him for a few years... the Lord hit me with this revelation that had I died during those backsliden years I would have gone to hell even though I had authentically been born again prior to turning away from the Lord.

And so I started studying the scriptures and low and behold I found out that this once saved always saved business was false doctrine and is in fact a stumbling block to believers.

My pastor back then did not teach OSAS but he was also ignorant of spiritual warfare and how to stand on God's promise using the sword of the Spirit and being skillful in the Word of righteousness... I had to learn these things as I went along from the Lord by studying His Word.

Now days people be living all freely after the flesh, living friendly withe world making it hard in many cases to tell if someone is saint of sinner since many that claim to be Christians live just like the world.

Pretty sad situation, but the falling away was foretold by the Lord in His Word so it's not surprising.

Yeah.. its always those "other" Christians huh.

"the vast majority of churches teach one can live in sin and still go to Heaven because they claim it's impossible for one to lose their salvation."

Vast majority. How many in our home town that we know preach this? We would have to go to each Church for at least a year then speak to the Pastor. Who's been preaching you can live in sin and still go to heaven? I don't know of one. Not even some of those grace preachers teach this. I just watched one two days ago saying "no we can not freely sin" he talked about the 10 commandments on and. Yet if I say his name.. it would be shocking since he gets made fun of by his bother and sisters.

So for me to say vast majority of Churches I would have to lie.. that's me because I don't know the vast majority. See the "big deal" here my brother is the enemy will use our words against us and if its not true he then has right to ack. And GOD oooooh man every word matters.  Man the preachers I been watching preaching end times and how we need to walking right living right.. Jesus is coming on and on. For those I don't know I will not lie or speculate.

Bless you.

In UK, during lockdown especially, everyone had a good opportunity to see how the churches responded to the new laws the government wanted to put in place. I was not impressed with the prominent leaders in the church of England and their advice. Now they obviously did not represent every denomination in the UK, but their words had some semblance of a unifying stance in the government's eyes.

I believe the great apostasy is upon us. Feel free to disagree, but this isn't really about 'other' Christians, but enduring to to the end. I don't wish to make speculations either, but that doesn't stop me or others from making valid observations. We are to watch and pray.

God bless you, brother.

Virtually ALL churches now either teach the tenants of calvinism, reformed theology, or straight up gnosticism.  Very few churches teach the whole counsel of God and those that do are almost always smaller congregations which is actually a good thing.

Pastors are supposed to be protecting the flock and not allowing wolves to bring in another gospel and that different jesus... you know, the one the world loves!  The one joey osteen is hawkin on TV.

All one needs to do is listen to a few of the pastor's sermons and almost always they start saying things such as "all our future sins are already forgiven", or "God cannot see you sin at all, He just sees you in Jesus"

Or they are more in to Calvin and teach some are elect and have been appointed by God to be saved and they will be even if they were to fall away into living a sinful lifestyle.

Of course they don't put it front and center... but when corned with the question of can we lose our salvation after having been born again the majority of the will say no and this is how we know he's a false teacher because once saved always saved in not biblical.

I've either been to all the churches in my area for visits to see what they teach or I've had phone calls or email exchanges with the pastor.  All of them have false doctrine going and the Lord will not allow me to sit under a preacher that is teaching things the Lord has shown me in His Word is not the Doctrine of Christ.

There are warnings in the New Testament to not be in agreement with unbiblical teachers.

This includes churches with women pastors.  I moved to this area to return to a church I went to in my town back in the late 80s (same lady "pastors" are still there today).  And the Lord had me studying end times stuff where I saw numerous warnings about false teachers /false teachings in the end times and that's what these ladies had going.  They have some freaky gnosticism going and they'll tell you if you disagree with them you need to go find some other church to go to so they are heavy handed towards their congregation as well.

Then one day it dawned on me that God's Word teaches that men are pastors and the Lord has never authorized or anointed women to be pastors so I had to agree with God's Word and remove myself from that church.

Even if we were to find a good church to attend, we all still need to put our personal relationship with the Lord first and foremost in our lives since the pastor is not our Lord and Savior!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
