I doubt Hamas has nuclear weapons (other than possibly dirty bombs), but asking if they would destroy themselves to destroy Israel is like asking if suicide bombers would be willing to kill themselves to kill Jews, it's a natter of the mentality of those people and they have shown they are quite willing accept their own deaths to bring death to the Jews.

If you don't know your enemy, how he thinks, you cannot defeat him (or even defend against him).

I don't remember, did Yasser Arafat strap on a  suicide bomber's vest and go show the way to go out to followers? Or did he lie in some comfort to then die at age 75 after a short illness.

I would think if they did Israel would not exist.   They would sacrifice their whole population to rid the holy land of Israel and expect the entire population to go strait to heaven.

Starise made the claim and I was just questioning them as I know that Hamas does not posess nukes.

There are small nukes. Very small. I admit I'm not up to date on what they have or don't have. I only know who they ally with.

No intention to add fear to the mix as believers should not live in a state of fear. God has the final victory.

I was watching some footage of the opposing soldiers marching in formation. They all had black on and what looked like AK-47s. I took note of the variety of foot wear which apparently wasn't  regulation like our military. This led me tho think they might not have a very substantial budget. Round up a kid, feed him propaganda, train him, give him a gun and a black suit, off they go.

They had hang gliders and motorcycles. Not a huge budget item either. They have missles and probably small artillery. Do they have aircraft like helicopters and jets?

To have the, err, gumption to attack in the way they did suggests some sort of a follow through unless they are just throwing soldiers out there to die. They have to be aware of Israel's capabilities which are substantial for such a small country, and that payback is going to be a real a real biootch. Anything else suggests poor planning and maybe insanity.

You're referring to low-yield nuclear weapons, aka tactical nuclear weapons. They weren't "supposed" to exist, but the U.S. (the first to make them) and the USSR had tactical nukes in their inventory. The NATO facility in the German countryside where I was stationed contained tactical nuclear weapons. The place was a fortress.

Guard towers... three minefields... stationary microwave transmitters at ground-level capable of transmitting lethal pulses of microwaves... it was something else. During Desert Storm, these weapons were evacuated and the NATO facility was deactivated.

Interesting side note: Russian forces were allowed to use the railhead my unit operated. They were evacuating their own inventory from former East Germany. We were under "no contact" orders.

@Marathoner. Russia developed nuclear bomb rifle bullets out of Californium in 30 - 50 caliber ranges quite some time ago, I wonder if they have been made practical for battlefield use yet or if their development was abandoned?

(Californium has a critical mass of less than two grams.)

Unless someone has inside information I am not privy to, I think it's really hard to determine what they have exactly or what they have access to, or who might slide them a few goodies, know what I mean?

Something surely seems to have emboldened them. More weapons? Access to the big boys? Hard to tell.

Hamas is essentially controlled by Iran.  Iran has been trying to make nuclear things for years now.  Iran and Russia are allies and Russia need all the help they can get as they are being overwhelmed by Nato and western countries.

Who knows, Russia may have passed on the technology to Iran as a backup in its war footing . For Hamas to make this move right now, they must have some kind of assurance as they know Israel would respond with terrifying vengence, I suppose. But it's all conjecture untill facts come alive.

Depletion of American resources in the Ukraine to the extent we will be unable to give much help to Israel for any extended time?

We just sent our largest battle ship to the middle east. Not sure if we are going to just be a 'presence' there or active. Sending that ship says a lot I think.

Not sure how much help we will be since our leader tends to make crazy calls lately.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • George Whitten, the visionary behind Worthy Ministries and Worthy News, explores the timing of the Simchat Torah War in Israel. Is this a water-breaking moment? Does the timing of the conflict on October 7 with Hamas signify something more significant on the horizon?

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
