New Law New Covenant. Jere clearly states a New Covenant NOT LIKE the old covenant. The new covenant offered eternal life to humans if they believe in and have Faith in Jesus Not Faith in the old ten commandments or old moral laws. Jesus is the only one to set the rules to live by to receive eternal life, not humans. 2. Matt 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 3. Not all or any part of old law or old covenant can be brought into New covenant by humans. James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 4. Jesus spoke the commandments we are to live by. Jesus had several occasions to just say follow the Ten commandments and Jesus Chose not to, He spoke which ones to follow. And added a new one. and gave Two main ones to follow. When people try to bring old law of any kind into the New Covenant they are saying Jesus is not enough alone to save us. Show me one verse that gives humans a right to add rules or law to the New covenant. Only Jesus has that right. Are those following such things leading Godly or worldly lives? Is the glory being given to God and the word of God or is it being given to men and the word of men?
