Sis- you did say you don't use your phone for internet, right? If so then why not just download a translation you prefer from YouVersion? They definitely have free offline Bible Versions avaliable ,no wifi needed use it on a cell phone-give them a call and ask about the conputer,I believe they have a customer service phone number

I have a flip phone, how on earth can that work on one of those?

I looked into that one last night and the ministries behind it and I do not support any of them.

That's that one associated with Joyce Meyer's correct?

No worries Sis, besides I don't think I can download to a flip phone anyway, besides even if I could the screen is an inch and a half in size, that would make reading pretty difficult from there anyway.

Was looking for one for my laptop.

And it really doesn't look like there is one out there for me, so I think I end my search for one, I don't think one exists, I would be surprised now if one did.

@AFlameOfFire

Sorry,my phones annoying me right now- I noticed it says " Lifechurch' -I have no clue who or what Lifechurch is(honestly I don't care,it's a free version of the KJV so I'm not giving anyone a penny)

Now a friend of mine had mentioned ' Biblia '- she has an offline Bible downloaded on her phone- I also have no idea who or what they are except they have offline Bibles available to use

You know your talking to the right one here, ROFL..... I have no clue what you can or cannot do with a flip phone Sis.....Im clueless, that's why I have a hard copy Bible in every room,in my car & a pocket size in my purse , 2 drawers full of notes and Bible Journals stacked up full of my own studies. Rofl

I don't know how you type on a phone, that is just an amazing thing to me haha, like how on earth do people do that?

I will clue you in, "nothing" you can't do anything on it but call people and get calls. I requested no texting but they did not have one so I can get text messages but I never respond because I never learned how to text haha I only get spammy things anyway, I fear clicking on it just to peek (I am such a tech phobe)

Speaking of notes (long story short since I talk way too much when I get started) when I couldn't get my forum renewed because of some back round games with the company who jacked the price and thought I was too vested to turn them down. So I had to print off the entire forum I owned for 20 years in just 30 days, and had to spent over $1200 on ink to do it, so I still have all of that on paper.

What is amazing is that this cheapy little $39 VERY basic printer kicked butt in printing something like that off, not to mention something  like 11 inches of paperwork for a previous lawsuit and 40 (3 inch/3 ring binders) holding recipes for a library of foods and soaps, and pictures and so much more.

This thing just rocks, its still with me. I would have to put it into an early retirement if I went with Windows 11, ain't happening haha

I have a special place in my heart for this thing, and I will never betray it to Microsoft

I am going to check out this Biblia thing, if its just another phone app I am throwing my hands up in the air, and calling it quits.

How is this possible that there is nothing that is for offline use on a laptop? It boggles my mind.

Anyone know of any basic  zero app, *offline usable only* sort of bible software?

Downloadable? ??? I suppose Olive Tree or ESword X.  For mac users anyway. Don't know of any DVD or CD's anymore other than that offered by "My Jewish Heritage" formerly Zola Levitt Ministries. They have also offered a "special" package of their whole inventory. Plus you might look at their correspondence course offering a twelve volume issue that  is pretty awesome, at ZLM online store correspondence courses.

I actually have ESword (the  CD even, from many years ago) but even still you need to be online to access it. I ran across that CD when cleaning one day and was amazed I still had it, I never ended up using it because of that, I was looking at that Olive tree last night, On You tube it shows it as a mobile app. I went to their website, I chuckled at their terms of service a little. I didn't get the impression it was for use on a laptop (offline).

Anything for offline use Neighbor?

Do you have a link to this one? I honestly just want the bible, something I can search for a verse, even if only by a word and just something I can copy paste from and study that way, nothing else because I use nothing else, I mean if it has to come with other stuff that's fine I will just not use that other stuff haha

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Daniel: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 3

      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this study, I'll be focusing on Daniel and his picture of the resurrection and its connection with Yeshua (Jesus).

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
