The month of May this year will mark the 76th anniversary of Israel being called a nation again in 1948.

Psalm 83:

Psalm 83

New King James Version

Prayer to Frustrate Conspiracy Against Israel

A Song. A Psalm of Asaph.

 Do not keep silent, O God!
Do not hold Your peace,
And do not be still, O God! For behold, Your enemies make a tumult;
And those who hate You have lifted up their head.
 They have taken crafty counsel against Your people,
And consulted together against Your sheltered ones.
 They have said, “Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation,
That the name of Israel may be remembered no more.”

 For they have consulted together with one consent;
They form a confederacy against You:

 The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites;
Moab and the Hagrites;
 Gebal, Ammon, and Amalek;
Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;
 Assyria also has joined with them;
They have helped the children of Lot. Selah

 Deal with them as with Midian,
As with Sisera,
As with Jabin at the Brook Kishon,
 Who perished at En Dor,
Who became as refuse on the earth.
 Make their nobles like Oreb and like Zeeb,
Yes, all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,
 Who said, “Let us take for ourselves
The pastures of God for a possession.”

 O my God, make them like the whirling dust,
Like the chaff before the wind!
 As the fire burns the woods,
And as the flame sets the mountains on fire, So pursue them with Your tempest,
And frighten them with Your storm.
 Fill their faces with shame,
That they may seek Your name, O Lord.
 Let them be [e]confounded and dismayed forever;
Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
 That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord,
Are the Most High over all the earth.

According to what I see in the bible, as the whole thing is ready to hit the fan big time and probably suck much of the world up in it, one person will arise with the apparent solution and make the long sought treaty.  This remarkable person, will be thought of as a real savior of mankind.

Is it wise to appeal to the figurehead of a death cult?

Israel has certainly behaved poorly in some rare instances. But you mainly have to go back 5-or-more decades to find these instances.

Soon after Israel occupied the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, in June 1967, the Israeli military authorities consolidated complete power over all water resources and water-related infrastructure in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT). 50 years on, Israel continues to control and restrict Palestinian access to water in the OPT to a level which neither meets their needs nor constitutes a fair distribution of shared water resources.

Depriving anyone of water, living water  -ANYWHERE- especially premeditated to do so on any living soul, is not nice, unkind unloving, cruel and unmerciful.

As Christians we are called to

John 13:34-35

Christ Jesus said:

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Matthew 5:40-48

Christ Jesus said:

40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.

41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.

4Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.

43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.

4But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.

46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?

47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?

48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

My concern with the above quote (point 3) is that it could be perceived as spreading the accountability equally between Israel and its aggressors. That would be an astonishingly unjust misrepresentation of the history of the conflict.

Neither side is completely innocent. Nevertheless, there is an overwhelmingly right side - who reserves the just right to defend its citizens, and an overtly evil side - that considers itself to have an Allah-given right to commit atrocities against Israeli civilians (and Jews in general, and westerners more broadly).

Agreed and point taken.  But I think it would be remise not to mention that there were things Israeli extremists did, as it goes to the root of much of what Muslims bring up.  I think we need need to have our eyes wide open nonetheless . . . These occurrences - as you said, from mainly several decades ago - don't come anywhere close to tipping the scales, as Israel has an overwhelming right to be there, and the Arabs are responsible for probably over 90% of the misbehaving that's occurred.

Hi, Then you might find the many writings and especially videos of Zola Levitt Ministries to contain useful information. I posted one video by Zola Levitt titled "Whose Land is it?"  in the videos general  category.

Thanks - I watched a good part of it.  He does a good job of presenting the irrefutable facts of Israel's historical right to the land.

Just about everyone has an opinion on this horrific conflict. But how many know the reasons why? Yes, the Hamas attack on Oct 7 should be forever condemned. But why?

In Oct 21, 2021 ...

NEW YORK, 21 August 2021 - “Unless urgent action is taken, more than four million people across Lebanon – predominantly vulnerable children and families – face the prospect of critical water shortages or being completely cut off from safe water supply in the coming days.

“Last month, UNICEF warned that more than 71 per cent of the population of Lebanon could run out of water this summer. Since then, this perilous situation has continued, with critical services including water and sanitation, power networks and healthcare under huge strain. Vital facilities such as hospitals and health centres have been without access to safe water due to electricity shortages, putting lives at risk.

People also should familiarize and become aware of what treaties the U.S. government have been signing especially since 1990ies  till this day  through executive orders,c0ncerning the Noahide Laws. These laws may look  at first glance moral & good but they are not in the bible and they have other sublaws to them which in time if passed will bring on the death to many Christians,

Please do you own research.

Here is just one of the agreements, more have been signed even under the Trump administration.

I'm in resounding agreement regarding an abhorrence toward violence. That has no place in the Body of Christ and the apostles of the Lord affirm this in New Testament scripture. The words of the Lord Himself teach us to be peacemakers.

It's rather telling when some who profess the name of the Lord "take sides" in worldly affairs and condone the horror of war. There is no excuse for it.

Agree.  Violence is not one of the listed fruit of the Spirit.

The more I get into the whole middle east thing, the more I see ol' Adam on display!  However, God will work it all together for His wonderful purpose, and things certainly do appear to be playing out according to what is biblically foretold.

When I pray about situations like this I often just pray, "Lord, stop those who need stopping.  Energize and bring clarity and wisdom to those who need it, and bring confusion where it is needed.  I pray that your hand is on the leaders on both side, to do as You will. May your name be glorified and save those who should be saved in this situation.  Your will be done!"  And even though I believe God strongly looks out for Israel, I pray that way because I usually don't have the finer insight to pray more specifically - I figure leave it in His capable hands!

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

      Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

      This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

      You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

      Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

      I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

      For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

      2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

      So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

      Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
      Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

      Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

      As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

      Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
      Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

      So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
