Eph 4:16 Marilyn.

Are you sure that is the scripture you want? I`ll start in v. 15 -

`.....the Head - Christ - from whom the whole Body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, cause the growth of the Body for the edifying of itself in love.` (Eph. 4: 15 & 16)

The Head, Christ, male, His Body, also male.

God`s Eternal Purpose.

`God….having made known to us the mystery of His will, according to His good pleasure which he purposed in Himself, that in the dispensation of the fullness of the times He might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth – in Him. ` (Eph. 1: 9 & 10  NKJ)

`….the purpose which He cherished in His own mind of restoring the whole creation to find its one Head in Christ.` (Eph. 10 Wey)

I believe that God`s eternal purpose is that Christ will be the supreme ruler over all of God`s great kingdom. And in the different realms there will be rulership set by God all under Christ.

This diagram reveals where I believe the different groups will be, under Christ, and in God`s great restored Kingdom.

What are your thoughts from God`s word?

image.png.cd9b68dac85e24cfbba0bc7b197bc6e6.png

Romans 1:18-20 tells us that the things that God created tell of Him - His glory and majesty. On inspecting this creature, from the vastness of a galaxy to the intricacy of the atom, we see God's nature and power at every turn. But the Psalms tells us that God is so vastly superior to His creature that He must humble Himself to look upon them (Ps.113:6). So, in His wisdom and knowledge and power He created one of these creatures in His image and likeness, and created this creature, man, to have a human spirit. The purpose for this, in turn, was so that God, Who is a Spirit, could make His abode in man, and automatically infuse His divine LIFE into the man. This would enable the man to act and think like God. He would be the best and closest testimony of God in the creation without actually being God.

But anther attribute we find prominent in the creation is its great ORDER. A fellow named Newton was given the intellect by God to be able to formulate the mechanical order of the creature. Others were given to formulate geography and thermodynamics. God is a God of order, and to maintain His standard of orderliness on earth - a jewel in His creation - man was given to rule it. If the man had God living inside of him and he was partaker of the divine nature, the government, or "kosmos" of the earth would have gloriously displayed God's Nature.

But just when we discover what man is and his grand purpose, God reveals that the Second Person of His Tri-une makeup took the form of a man. And now we have two more glorious revelations. God, in His high and holy Citadel, dwelling in "unapproachable light" whilst "inhabiting eternity", is a social God. I means by this that He loves FELLOWSHIP. His first House on earth could not be man because man defiled himself, but He could build a House that upheld His holiness. And while "holiness" means SEPARATION, His House was called "THE TENT OF MEETING"!

And this sociable God wanted a relationship with His man to such a level of intimacy that man is the designated Bride of His Son - the God-Man Jesus. "He who is joined to the Lord is ONE SPIRIT". God will have, at great cost to Himself, a companion who has His glory, is His House, is His ruler and who is His Son's eternal Wife. Because Heaven is God's Throne, all rule must come out of heaven. But heaven is NEVER called God's House. God's House when man's sin was not yet put away, was the Tabernacle, and a Temple made in peace and another Temple made among enemies. But he glory of God is much better displayed by a spiritual House. This glorious House, not made with hands, is the Corporate man and the individual man who qualifies by faith.

This faith in turn gives birth to a TOTALLY NEW CREATURE. It has no past, so ethnicity and previous government pass away. All human claims have no substance. And because of its exquisite design, it can be a House and Temple for a holy God while at the same time allow the rulers to be present in cities all over the world to bring heavenly rule to earth and so bless all families of the earth. But it "all families", not "all men". Being created in God's image means the man has a free will. And many will decide for themselves against God. And while the New Man displays God's power and love, the Second Death will be an eternal monument to God's justice.

Let the reader judge;

23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. 25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; 26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, 27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. 28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. 29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: 30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband. (Eph.5:23–33).

Let the grand Type speak;

22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. 23 And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh

30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. 31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. 32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.

The earthly man and woman are separate, however the heavenly NEW Man is Christ the Head and His Body, one glorious spiritual organism.

Paul is speaking about his own disciples. He wants to PRESENT them to the Lord pure. Paul does NOT PRESENT us to the Lord but the Lord Himself.

`Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to PRESENT YOU faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy.` (Jude 24)

We don`t read everything Paul wrote as to us. He was writing to his disciples and often correcting them.

There is no escape my sister. That's why I published Chapter 1, verse 1. There is no correction in the whole Epistle that anyone other than the Church is spoken to. John Baptist had disciples and Paul no doubt had some. But Paul would not have tolerated them. If he had, he was destined to be disappointed. "ALL" forsook him (2nd Tim.1:15). The desertion is particularly widespread because Paul is in Rome. Asia is modern Turkey.

But your argument has a sinister ring, sorry to say. You have just declared that there are two classes of disciple, and that only Paul's disciples are virgins. Making such a statement must be very soberly considered. And if you doubt my admonishment, try to tell us how Paul's disciples are Virgins if they follow Paul and not Christ.

I think, as old experienced Christians, we should be able to leave a doctrine that is obviously needing other doctrines to be damaged. It is time for you to consider that the Church is espoused to Christ. It is not a sin to be wrong, and it is the sign of maturity to change your mind when new and compelling evidence is forthcoming. I know. I've had to do this multiple times in my career. The Ekklesia is FEMALE in its relationship to Christ. It is MALE in its inheritance. Notwithstanding the rules of Greek pronouns, the translators found the Body NEUTER. They render it "itself". The grand types are Ruth and Song of Songs. Ephesians uses plain language. The grammar is unavoidable.

So, are you saying that when Paul is speaking to the church which is at Corinth, (2 Cor. 1: 1) that he is talking to you? That you live in Corinth, that you were one of those who did not mourn that terrible deed, that you were present when Paul was among them. (2 Cor. 11: 9) etc etc.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
