The question "are you saying" indicates that I meant something else. But I didn't. So please ... go ahead with the words I said. They are not uncertain nor are they obscure.

But you deserve an appreciation for your question that follows. "Did Paul speak to me seeing as I was not at Corinth"? The implication, strengthened by your next question "Do I live in Corinth" is that since I do not live in Corinth, and was not there to witness Paul's visit, nor hear his teaching, nor witness the incest, nor did mourn it that I should discard it. After all, your context is that we discard the Church being the Bride of Christ because Paul only wrote to his disciples.

The truthful answer to your question is that I was not there, have never lived in Corinth and am not a disciple of Paul.

All is now clear. You don't want us Christians, reading, studying, learning and applying Paul writings to those who were not there.

Not so Ad Hoc, I was just pointing out that we can`t take what other people are talking to others as though it is to us. However, we can LEARN from the letter and what say, Paul wrote to the Corinthians. But, it is NOT ALL ABOUT US.
