It's my understanding that God calls only those who desire Him,

I can only state that I did not desire God. I did not know there is God.

God turned me about regardless. God is faithful to answer prayers, so it just didn't matter that I had no interest in God, who to me was nonexistent.

The Holy Spirit turned me about  in spite of me.

Sorry if it isn't supposed to work that way,  but it is the way God  brought about  my salvation.

He was found by those who were not seeking after him.

This is the prophetic it was foretold of what will happen and now I understand why because the Holy Spirit is working with everyone to help them come in the Knowledge of God and Jesus Christ. And that means working or ministring to those who do not believe and have obstacles in believing. After the death and Resurrection of Jesus Christ the Holy Spirit of God it was all over the world because the earth is the Inheritance of Jesus Christ. Ask me and I will give you the earth for your Inheritance. Before I have come for the Lost sheep of Israel and the Jews. But after the resurrection go to all the earth before go only to the villages of Judea. After the Cross the earth was the Inheritance of Jesus Christ and he began to conquer the earth  with his disciples and the word of their testimony. Defeating their Gods in people and setting them free the captivity in Jesus Christ. Every where they go they defited the Gods of that Nation. To take away from them even one it was a victory to celebrate. And then one by one. Today we are also called to defeat doctrinal Spirits who keep captives the people of God and keep them away from the Grace of God and live in the fear of death. They are in the Life of Jesus Christ and yet they live in the fear of death. There is no judgment of believers in Jesus Christ and yet they live in the fear of the judgment. The one who believes has passed from death unto Life and that's where he stands. Our peace with the Heavenly Father is Jesus Christ and we are in Jesus Christ because we believe in him. Our sins are forgiven we will not live in the fear of death and keep repeating Jesus to forgive our sins every day and every night living scared if we die with some sin some uncofess sin. Some people know that they are in Jesus Christ yet somehow they live in the fear of death because they are in the fear of their sins. Often they make out something not sinful to be a sin just in case. And they missed out to be happy in Jesus Christ and live with Thanksgiving in their hearts. Even if we die with some sin we are still in Jesus Christ. We believe. We are in Jesus Christ righteousness and in his blood. We do not boast in our righteousness even though we take pride in it. But we boast in Jesus Christ righteousness because we are in the Father because we believe in Jesus Christ in his righteousness. This is what the Father wants from anyone to believe in Jesus Christ so they can be in his righteousness and in his eternal Life.

It is those who respond to His Word in belief... this will generate truth into them and thus having faith to believe will open their hearts to Christ which will bring repentance, confession, and calling out to Jesus all unto salvation by the regeneration work of The Holy Spirit...

I believe man has to desire to be right with God first, then He brings them to salvation. If God has to fist make one to have desire for Him, He would have to do this to everyone, or it wouldn't be fair, and He is not prejudice - Luk 20:21; Act 10:34; Rom 2:11; Gal 2:6; Eph 6:9; Col 3:25; 1Pe 1:17.

If God was the One who caused you to desire Him, He would have to do this for everyone to avoid being prejudice. It wouldn't be fair, and God is ever fair! (Luk 20:21; Act 10:34; Rom 2:11; Gal 2:6; Eph 6:9; Col 3:25; 1Pe 1:17).

One's salvation might be the result of God knowing someone is going to pray for one's salvation, but God already knows all who are going to choose to be right with them, even before creation; thus their name is already in the Book of Life.

Yes, but that knowledge doesn't  stop us evangelising or praying for convertions.

Hi @Who me I like to remember Philippians 1.6: "He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ".

And also Matthew 28.19: "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations".

Divine sovereignty and human responsibility about the Gospel: it's not a case of either/or: both are true and Scriptural.

What is that Knowledge please? Let us know and if you are willing the version of the Bible.  Because some people post scriptures reference only that has nothing to do, and do not support their points in the making. And choose the version of the Bible for their reasons. Having others believe that there is only one version when there is not. Some versions are doctrinal versions.

True! We can't know whose name in the Book of Life, so it's required to attempt to reach as many as God will give us to be saved.

Paul at first heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ and did not believe and yet he was Saved.

Paul said when I believed my name was written in the Book of the believers in Jesus Christ those who have forgiveness of their sins in Jesus Christ. And are under his Atonement made by the blood of the Slain Lamb of God who is Jesus Christ. And are also in the book of Life of Jesus Christ. The way to the Heavenly Father is open for them and they will literally go through that Door as soon as they will leave behind their earthly tabernacle. From dust to dust. Peter said the Lord showed me that now is the time to leave my earthly tabernacle and be gathered to him.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
