ROMANS 6:16  know you not that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey his servants you are to whom you obey whether of sin unto death or of ---OBEDIENCE  UNTO  RIGHTEOUSNESS---

--8:2-- for the law of the spirit of life in  CHRIST  JESUS  hath made me free from the law of sin and death

JOHN 14:6  JESUS  saith unto him  --I  AM  THE  WAY  --  THE  TRUTH  --  AND  THE  LIFE  -- no man cometh unto  THE  FATHER  BUT  BY  ME

1 PETER 1:22  seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren see that you love one another with a pure heart fervantly

ACTS 5:32  and we are  HIS  witnesses of these things and so is also the holy spirit whom  GOD  hath given to them that obey  HIM

JOHN 3:34  for  HE  whom  GOD  hath sent speaketh the words of  GOD  for  GOD  giveth not the spirit by measure unto  HIM

GALATIANS 6:8  for he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption but he that soweth to the spirit shall of the spirit reap life everlasting

JOHN 6:68  then simon peter answered  HIM  LORD  to whom shall we go thou hast the words of eternal life

GALATIANS 6:9  AND  LET  US  NOT  BE  WEARY  IN  WELL  DOING  FOR  IN  DUE  SEASON  WE  SHALL  REAP  IF  WE  FAINT  NOT

COLOSSIANS 2:6  as you have therefore received  ---CHRIST  JESUS  THE  LORD--- so walk you in  HIM

--2:7-- rooted and built up in  HIM  and stablished in the faith as you have been taught abounding therein with thanksgiving

--2:8-- beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit ---after the tradition of men -- after the rudiments of the world  ---  AND  NOT  AFTER  CHRIST---

--2:9-- FOR  IN  HIM  DWELLETH  ALL  THE  FULLNESS  OF  THE  GODHEAD  BODILY

--2:10-- AND  YOU  ARE  COMPLETE  IN  --HIM--  WHICH  IS  THE  HEAD  OF  ALL  PRINCIPALITY  AND  POWER

2 JOHN  1:4  I  REJOICED  GREATLY  THAT  I  FOUND  OF  THY  CHILDREN  WALKING  IN  TRUTH  AS  WE  HAVE  RECEIVED  A  COMMANDMENT  FROM  THE  FATHER

Examine the verses that have the following phrase; If you continue...

Col. 1:23

John 8:31

Rom. 11:22

1Cor. 15:2

It appears a person needs to continue to embrace the living word to the end to be a successful Christian.

Yes. And he that is born again WILL continue to the end.

Philippians 1:6  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

1Pe 1:3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, :4  To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, :5  Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Amen. John the Apostle lived the longest of the Apostles. He was probably between 95 and 100 when he wrote Revelation. He writes;

9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ. (Rev.1:9)

John new that patience is a must in Christian living. Patience is needed because we run a race. In Hebrews 12:1 the race is not the 100 meters. No patience is needed for that race. The marathon is meant. The runner experiences much in those 2 + hours. Pain barriers, falls and hills test him. He has two resources. He trusts that his TRAINER coached him properly, and he went to look at the table with the winner's wreath on it. During the race he does not look back, though he falls. He looks forward. He dos not stop when he feels the blisters. He dos not see a hill before him. He sees a table with a wreath. The pain is now. The "joy" is ahead

I believe Paul had a similar outlook on running a race too.

Phil.3: 12-16

12 Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you. Only let us hold true to what we have attained.

Patience, endurance and a tolerance for pain in the flesh or in the spirit or mind.

How about this one, which is the most basic test: "Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?"  2 Cor 13:5

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
