Please, explain what you mean.

Sometimes people put their faith in the wrong sources for healing, example….

2 Kings 1:2-6

King James Version

2 And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease.

3 But the angel of the Lord said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron?

4 Now therefore thus saith the Lord, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed.

5 And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back?

6 And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die.”

Did you know the original Hippocratic oath that doctors took was to swear by false gods?

Here it is….

“I swear by Apollo the physician, and Aesculapius the surgeon, likewise Hygeia and Panacea, and call all the gods and goddesses to witness, that I will observe and keep this underwritten oath, to the utmost of my power and judgment. I will reverence my master who taught me the art.”

Wow!

Gods Word says He has given each of us a measure of faith

Romans 12:3

For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

we are all accountable for 0ur own decision making

Does God hold us accountable for our actions?
Romans 2:12 explains that people are held accountable to God's Word to whatever extent they understand it. “All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.” In other words, the more you know, the greater your level of accountability

Romans 22] Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth. [23] And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

Hebrews 11

But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

If one remains,. years and years in the baby stage, (like I did) than one needs to ponder and question if they are truly walking in Faith, in daily faithful relationship with who they claim to be their Lord and Savior to Christ Jesus.

The bible is clear: you cannot server two masters

I myself had to questions these questions and several times in the course of my life until I was faced to make a vert serous decision 22 years ago to choose Him seriously or not. I am so grateful that I chose to follow Him and begin leaving the world philosophies behind me.   And from there, did I fall? did I fail? Oh yes , and had to learn the consequences of bad decision making, but I never let go of Him and He showed me the way out once again.

God is the great salvager, He will go where no man sometimes can go, just to save you, and He will rescue you, just place a little faith in Him, call on Him, ask Him for help, have a true honest talk with Him. He will respond. He is the good shepherd. John 10:10

Our faith to be wiling to engage and place our trust in God should grow more deeper and more as we get to know Him and also grow more and more  as we get to experience Him working in us, gently chastising us, transforming us, guiding us, and through all this, God demonstrates to us that His Word, His promises are INDEED TRUE.

It all begins with first beginning to place daily a little trust, a little measure of good faith in Him . Through doing this, your relationship will in good soil develops and begins to grow and your relationship with God you WILL grow more and more deeply in HIM. Praise God! Thank You Christ Jesus! Amen! Amen! Amen!

Be wary of anyone who comes along, forcing themselves upon others as teachers or authorities, judging the Lord and/or His servants by proclaiming their superiority in some way. The same are rebuked by the scriptures they claim to know like no other does.

Do pay heed to anyone who encourages you to listen to the Lord who is not an idol that is mute, incapable of speaking or acting Himself. These days --- particularly on the internet as it were --- there are a plethora of self-styled teachers who will tell you that they're on a mission from God. That's what they all say.

They're a dime per dozen, my friends. Trusting in the Lord is just that, trusting God without caving to man-pleasers and their warped sense of righteousness of the flesh. They might appear godly, but that's an illusion.

I am amazed by those who call themselves Christian’s who are offended in these words, to put your “trust in the Lord, not in men” especially when it comes to health care.
We as Believers in the words of God should trust in the Lord in ALL things pertaining to this life, including our spiritual AND physical health.

In every aspect of our lives, be it understanding the words of God, be it protection from evil, be it our jobs, be it our spiritual health, or our physical health we should put our TRUST IN THE LORD!

Those who put their trust in Man are cursed according to the words of God.

Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.

Hello, since you like to quote the OT in Samuel He was saying "For the LORD sees not as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart".  And I'm not sure  you truly understand just who those "who call themselves Christians" belong to. Hey go for it, not my kids your talking about. Think because you believe in Christ gives you some right here in all this?

Context. Do  you know just who God was talking about in Jeremiah 17? Christ already died on the cross "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us". In this case your trying to take something that was not said to the Church. I don't think any believer here does not believe and know we trust in Him. I have said it so many times we trust in cling to rely on Christ.

You don't know all the things the Father does do you. He rains on the just and unjust. You talked about healing and going to what Doctors? Is it not written "Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].".

See if we would just talk to one another as if we were talking to Christ. Well did He not say "if you have done it to the least of these my brethren you have done it unto me." Those are also those "who call themselves Christian’s".

Thank you for sharing what you personally believe.

Oh brother!  Who is “forcing themselves” on others? So much drama for telling people to “Put your trust in the Lord, not in men.”

You can’t force people to believe the words of God, either they do, or they don’t.😊

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
