False gods, so, fake, imaginary?

So there are no other 'real' gods.

fallen angels masquerading as more powerful than they are. The Spirits can affect the physical realm in weird ways (God's angel breaking Peter out of prison for example or Legion and his chain breaking) they are not limited to our realms nature as they are unnatural. Thus they offer to "bless" others typically in exchange for ritual human sacrifices. They love it when humans pray for selfish desires as it is within their nature to love sin. Are other "gods" real? the denizens of the Middle east called them elohim meaning- lower case g, gods. Deuteronomy 32:16 teaches that demons operate behind idolatry. Pergamos in Revelations (Christ's message to the Churches of Turkey) has the seat of satan  mentioned (a temple to zeus) using logic I think you can infer what i'm on about. Idolatry is attributed to satan and pagans openly prayed to the satanic powers in this region.

the answer is basically yes. Demons masquerade as greater than they are just as they always have. The answer is also no because there is only one Creator of everything with ultimate Power: YHWH.

Satan will attempt the same thing in the Third temple during the events of Revelations. (Exalting himself as god)

Not to mention the Nephelim the angels offspring that proclaimed themselves as godkings. Wiped out in the flood...  Their bones when found, are taken, and hidden from public view by the smithsonian.

And preachers

I moved from Seattle to rural south central Kentucky 13 years ago. I joined a southern gospel band that played at a LOT of the small churches here usually on Sunday night.

The amount of raw ignorance coming from some of those pulpits just floored me. One was a "$30 a month retired guy that did not prepare. Rather, he preached "as the Lord guided him". And if it were not so serious it would be laughablt. I was so embarrassed for them.

And to top it off, some of those church members were truly miserable people. I put some of the blame directly on some of the sermons I heard. So many of them are "trying to be good enough to avoid eternal torture in hell" but constantly afraid they ain't gonna make it to heaven. It was heartbreaking.

From the bible we have a lot input that answers this question. To Abraham God made a Covenant with that he will be his God and the God of his children's children only and not the God of the rest of the world. And he told him that he will be his God and the God of his children through Issac and Jacob always not only while they lived but also after they died continously. That made the difference between him and the Gods of the rest of the world who could only be the Gods of the people while they lived and never after they died. This is how God set Abraham apart and his bless offsprings from the rest of the world. Not only in life but also after they died. He called himself the most high God of all the other Gods as in God Almighty. At that time he was the only God who the God of the dead who took all the other people at the time of their death unto himself (but not Abraham and his children) and kept them in his domain in the realm of the dead Jesus called him Hades. And he kept the dead people in Hades his own place. God said to Moses that he is the God of his ancestors Abraham Issac and Jacob and also the God of the children of Jacob or Israel. He was telling Moses who he is and that also he is his God as Moses was from the tribe of Levi. The God of the dead Hades took all the people from the other Gods at the time of their death but not Abraham and his people whom God Almighty had provide a place for him in the place of the dead but seperated them from the dead of the rest of the world and the God of the dead Hades. Abraham's place was called Abraham's Bosom. The inheritance of Abraham after death which included the promise of the Christ and to be included in his Heavenly Inheritance. Till that time they were gathered to Abraham and waiting together with him for the Heir of the Heavenly Inheritance the Promised one to Abraham and in Genesis 3 the seed of the woman the Messiah. With the death of Jesus Christ every thing change. Jesus said all authority has been given to Me and I have the Keys of Death and Hades. The Promised to Abraham was fulfilled and he was in Jesus Christ and the people with him and they were included in Jesus Christ Heavenly Inheritance and the big change Jesus Christ became the Judge of all the people of the earth. The seed of the woman crushed the head of the Serpent. The Serpent lost his authority by default to harvest all the people at the time of their death not Abraham and his children. Jesus Christ now judges all the people of the world and inclusive all who died. The old one two is stopped at the time of Jesus Christ death on the Cross. He took the keys of death and Hades. Death comes to people but Hades is not following ti take them as in the past, Jesus is the one to Judge their eternal place. New system after people die.Jesus Christ is apointed to Judge everyone all authority has been given to him every one will bow down to him. When everyone dies is brought before his Throne and he told us that every one who believes in him is not Judge. They all are co-heirs with him of the Heavenly Inheritance. The believers in him they have a Heavenly Inheritance they have a right to their Heavenly Inheritance. They are in the Life the Eternal Life of Jesus Christ and in the Heavenly Father.

From the bible we have a lot input that answers this question.

To Abraham God made a Covenant that he will be his God and the God of his children's children only, and not the God of the rest of the world. At that time and only till the Cross of Jesus Christ, the beginning of the New Covenant.

And he told him that he will be his God and the God of his children through Issac and Jacob and not only while they lived but also after they died continously in life and in death.

That made the difference between him and the Gods of the rest of the world who could only be the Gods of their people while the people lived and never after they died.

This is how God set Abraham apart and his bless offsprings from the rest of the world. Not only in life but also after their death.

He called himself the most high God of all the other Gods as in the Lord God Almighty.

The God of the dead Hades took all the people of the world by default at the time of their death no matter who was their God (but could not gathered unto himself Abraham and his children in both the Covenant of Cirumcision and the Covenant of Sinai) and kept them in his domain in the realm of the dead. Jesus called him Hades in Revelation 1: after his resurrection  when he said: I have the Keys of Death and Hades.

God said to Moses at the burning bush that he is the God of his ancestors Abraham Issac and Jacob who had died some time ago. Signifying to him that He is still their God.

Moses understood that he was his God and the God of the Israelites. And he will be their God after their death. And that God had separated his people at death from the rest of the dead of the world. And at the time of their death were gathered to Abraham, in Abraham's Bosom.

This is was the inheritance of Abraham after death which included the promise of the coming Messiah the Christ of God with the Heavenly Inheritance.

All these things as they were before the Cross, before the new  covenant of Jesus Christ.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
