Make America Great Again. Hmmm.

Several similar threads have been moved to the political section of the forum. 

The way people are feeling about the current state of affairs in the US is difficult for most Americans to contain. Not sure how many poke around on the political sections of the forum. These kinds of discussions often end up here. Sometimes we need to vent a little about some of this. Prayer changes things and God is in control always.

We are to pray for our leaders. God uses even those who are incompetent, possibly as a judgement.

I believe most know when they are not being given the full truth. This causes these things to just spiral. Christians should never be hating on anyone, and we realize we aren't really fighting the visible, and yet we may be close to some of this making it difficult to avoid.

I recently heard a prophetic word that the US was going to get a shaking. She surely needs a good one. We have moved so far away.

Yes it does…primarily at the urgings and blessings of the evangelical church within America…they have the “Republican Jesus” on their side…remember? These are the same ones who prophesied…“spoke for God”…saying that Mr. Trump will win his second term in the last “election”…and he did not at that time. I remember that bunch. This “church” plays its role in the increasing division in America.

Those calling themselves “Christians and their church’s” throughout the ages and millennia…have always sought the seat of power and authority of man in the governments of men, on the earth. This is precisely the work of "religious harlot."

In America…things have been and are no different…however to a large degree it has been hidden…and as it played out for those nations…it will now play out “similarly” for America.

One only needs to look at men like Constantine and Charlemagne to see “her” at work in “her” early days. There have been many more like them, since…now for a modern example…just consider the Patriarch Kirill of Moscow the 21st-century primate of the Russian Orthodox Church…of more than 90 million people in a nation of just under 150 million people.

Just look at Kirill’s relationship with Mr. Putin…I have followed it in some detail for this reason…they are working together with a cozy closeness via gift giving, favors and the like. From a 50,000 foot view…Kirill gets the power and authority he desires and Putin gets the working constituency and support base he desires. This is called “having a seat at the table” does that ring a bell?

The result has been catastrophic…“brothers” Russians…killing “brothers” Ukrainians…all in the name of God and country…how nice. Surly we can see the “outline” of this simple example…in your statement “1.)” from above Charles…there are similarities to be sure. The PTB have civil war as a possibility in America…in view…among other “not so convenient dreams” it would seem.

To answer your question here “Charles”…it seems likely to me…that many have and are asking “God” that. I understand this in part…due to my indirect connection to the modern evangelical leadership and church in America the same for the church from Rome.

And…in part I can see the spiritual attitude of religious American people…they are completely unprepared and ignorant as to what has come upon them…this includes its churches…just look at them. That may be a difficult and painful proposition if…you “are” the church in America...some of you are being "called out of her."

As difficult as it has been for a nation and its spiritual constituency to look at and admit that…because of the prolonged unrepentant “sins of the U.S. leadership in the name of the American people” no less…America is now left “reaping what it has in its lust and pride allowed to be sown”…which is death…death being defined as a separation from God.

The wages of sin is death…this cannot be changed unless repentance is granted. Will this happen for U.S.A. as a nation? Not likely…I say that because historically few if any nations have ever been granted a shot at repentance and taken it…to success…and there are specific reasons for this.

The most obvious challenge for a “religious America” is that a significant element of its membership has conflated “her” with the Kingdom of God…this can never be. That is part of the “MAGA” seduction…neither America nor MAGA are Kingdom of God elements on the earth...nor will they ever be. To think otherwise is to be mislead.

While the Kingdom of God (the sons of God) exists within the context or boundaries of nation states…one would be in great error to conflate any physical, temporal, visible, ethnic nation state with the invisible spiritual Kingdom of God on earth.

The Kingdom of God is heavenly and spiritual…and it is invisible. “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed”…and for that reason…none should say “Look, here it is!' or, 'There it is!” Yet…”it is here in our midst.”

It is not the work of the Holy Spirit to conflate the house “He is building”…with anything created, physical, temporal or “man made” for that matter. Eternity has long spoken…those who can interpret the “sound” He is making today…will understand and allow the eternal realm its due…it can go no other way. This is called understanding eternal judgment.

America was created…therefore it is not eternal…everything in creation was put there by the Lord for His desire and purpose only. When what He “created” has served its purpose as He sees it…it is no longer required and is “done away with” we call it history.

This is still the order of the day because it has not yet been fulfilled completely…however it must be. That is precisely where we are headed…not only as a nation but as a race…that is mankind and creation as a whole.

So all those dark evil things you list…”may…or…might be” charged to the account of “Americans” as you suggest…that is these who exist in the “world”…the kingdom of darkness. However it cannot be charged to the sons of God living in His Kingdom on the earth at this time or any time…that is the conflation of the Kingdom of God and the state that I am suggesting is inappropriate…and why.

I would agree to some similarities Charles…of course…it’s the same force at work in the world today as it was in antiquity with Israel…only far more encompassing, mature, powerful and effective.

In like fashion…”America” has also failed to actually do the will of God and is being sent into captivity…today...that’s what has happened and is happening right now…few see it. I’ll give you a basic example of what I am saying here.

When one looks at the primary leadership of the U.S. government over just the last 100 years…you will find that a multi-party system has been “a ruse and a red herring” ultimately. If one simply looked at the “who” has been running the U.S. for the last 60 years of my life it reads like a prime time “sit-com” that continues to “retread” the same actors for years…in different rolls and different shows…seriously.

I do agree that there are separate effects that we must deal with whether “Red” or Blue” is in charge…they run differently. But either way it’s a game…because those actually “running the country” are mostly hidden from view and they are the ones who “pay” both parties.

Most troubling for Americans is the fact that these people are not sympathetic to “the American way”…nor “any other way”…theirs is a separate economy altogether and they are loyal to none but their own.

How did George Carlin say it…”it’s a secret club and you and I ain’t in it.”

Well this is the problem with conflating the Kingdom of God with any nation state…they are by design…separate entities. One is from the earth below and natural…the other is from heaven above and spiritual. They don’t mix…one is created the other eternal…different and separate realities altogether.

So no…the “nation of America” will not go to God and ask forgiveness…it’s basis and foundation are corrupt and dark…formed over its lifetime by the god of this world…he is anti-christ in his mindset. Those behind the scenes “hidden in the darkness” that run this country...they are not in the Kingdom of God Charles.

I am not suggesting that if one feels the need to pray and ask forgiveness for your country that you shouldn’t…no…not at all…you need to go about your prayer life as you see fit. The virtue of any prayer however…is found in the reality of whether or not the Lord answers the prayers.

The Lord is speaking to the “churches” in those letters…calling them into account spiritually…drawing the lines if you will…He is calling those that are His…to live according to His divine standard. Some will do just that…this is a picture of separation within in the church itself. Therefore it really has nothing to do with calling out an entire nation.

“We should NOT be looking for America to become great until…” If you are going to define “great” as it “once was” or one day “will be” again…that cannot happen for a few reasons…firstly…the idea that it was ever a great nation…in terms as defined by the Kingdom of God and its King…it never was that…man however has proudly proclaimed that it is…unregenerate man always thinks he speaks for God and often acts like he is God.

God is always lifted up in His Kingdom…if you are in His Kingdom you should know that because that is how you live…to the exultation and praise of His grace and presence. That which constitutes the “world” will never do this…they simply cannot…one has to be made Holy first.

That’s why it makes no difference “who” the sitting president is…he rules in darkness…because he’s in the “world or kosmos” that has been crafted by the dragon himself…and he’s been building it since the Garden of Eden.

Just a few thoughts...thank you Charles for the opportunity.
