Oh, you think the persecution of the church and Christians will be a breeze?  I'm not talking about Christ's return or the Tribulation.  I'm talking about now.

We are under the judgment of God now and if CHRISTIANS don't get their act together - then there will be NO revival.

Christians sin JUST like everyone else.

No, we are not under the judgment of God now. We are in the grace period. The judgment and wrath of God is the 7 year tribulation which is still to come in the near future.

Everyone is a sinner and that includes Christians. Although the born again true Christians are saved and will go to heaven.

I'm not talking about the final judgment - the final seven years.  And grace will still be available then.  The book of Revelation says that - even though it will be terrible - more people than can be counted will be saved.  Evangelized by an angel, two witnesses, and 144,000 Jewish males that God saves for that purpose.  They will not live long it says - martryed for their new faith, but they will be recipients of God's grace.

I'm talking about now.

America is in horrible shape.  Sex trafficking, babies eaten by satanists, homosexuality and transgenderism is the NORM in the eyes of far too many, the rise of terrible crime, and the moral breakdown of the family and the church.  And the church?  It's on the online forums talking about how wicked everyone ELSE is.

The church is silent about itself and tolerant of sin in its own walls.

Romans 1 gives the picture of a people in the final spiral.

God has given us over to our own debased mind Just as Romans 1 says.

Just as God in the Old Testament gave up many nations, including Israel, over to their horrible sins, he has done that with America now.

Good is proclaimed as evil.  Evil is proclaimed as good.  That's everywhere - everyday.

What is a woman?  Why can't the people say so?

How did we GET here?!?

Read Romans 1.  Read Habakkuk.  God WILL inevitably remove his hand of protection from a people who grossly turn their back on him.

The only hope is that while there is breath in our mouths - there is hope to be saved.

But dear miss muffett, America has been under the judgment of God for a while.

I believe that just as Ninevah, people can turn around and turn to God.

Do you believe that all people on this world will go into the 7 year tribulation?

I'm in the minority here at Worthy, but I believe in a Rapture of the church and then the final judgment.

Yes We are DEFINITELY living in a time when "it's all about me"

Well it's NOT all about me. Ultimately it's all about JESUS

Hi @Annisissy This is why I appreciate the focus in the Lord's Supper: It's all about Him. "In remembrance of Me". 1 Corinthians 11.26: "For as often as ye eat this bread and drink this cup ye do shew the Lord's death till He come."

It's all about Him, giving proper focus to our lives down here, in worship and service, while His people await His return.

I've seen the statement made that the self indulged act like they are the main character in their own Hollywood movie.

All the movies will turn into a dystopian nightmare as blessings are removed and the prideful learn how incapable they really are in dealing with reality.

I highly suspect the Lord has withdrawn his hand of protection over America and given many in our nation over to a debased mind and the selfish lusts of their flesh (remedial judgment).

As the global police force, how many non-declared wars and skirmishes have we participated in since WW II, and how many have we won? Answer: Zero.

Look at everything that has happened in one half of a generation (my generation). For brevity, I cite only a few abominations and sins of many. America is the global leader in exporting pornography, tens of millions of abortions, transgenderism, homosexuality, gender identity, treasury money for sex changes, lies, and deception are everywhere, “America is no longer a Christian nation, but…” (Obummer), on and on. What other explanation is there for half of America supporting and celebrating abominations and sin in only a few short decades?

There is Biblical precedence time and again. Judgment soon follows when abominations become the law of the land, and people and the nation call evil good and good evil.

The Lord is so patient and not willing that any should perish, but global and national judgment is soon coming.

2 Chronicles 7:14 (KJV) If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

God’s patience is limited. Gentile Christians (the church) are grafted in with God’s chosen people. I do not see most religious churches humbling themselves, seeking God’s grace, and asking for national forgiveness to heal our land; quite the contrary.

Many today are busy with me, me, taking selfies all day, talking about themselves on social media, sporting tramp stamps, taking up misplaced social justice causes, etc.

I think we have already received a Nineveh moment (four years) and rejected it.

Daniel 2:21 (KJV) And he changeth the times and the seasons: he removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
