1 Peter 5: 6 Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

At one point in our life  or many points we have all met with the sparkly eyes nemesis  called Anxiety. Especially in these times when life seems some perilous some times we are tempted to fall into a puddle of our own tears and give up.  But we do not have to to do that for God has given us the perfect prescription to cure it'

Philippians 4:Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

Step One: pray and give your trouble to god and do so fervently, for it is effective fervent prayer of a righteous person that avails much. And when you pray THANK God for answering your prayers. For it is faith in God that He will do what He says that makes that fervent prayer effective

Philippians 4: and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Step Two; Receive the peace of God that will help you stand against the waves that are beating against you

Philippians 4:Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things

Step 3: (and the one most skipped) Get your mind off of it. you have given your problems to God, the last thing you want to do is take them back. Refuse to think about then and trust God. Be proactive in tearing down those worries. If you know and believe God will help you, then these other things are just noise

2 Cor 10: For the weapons of our warfare are not [a]carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,

That's it, the 3 step prescription to weed anxiety out of your heart

But all of this is predicated on your belief that God is your God and He can and will help you. And that is who He is

Isaiah 40:

28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the Lord,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Give it God....He wants you to be at peace and healthy and untroubled

Yes, and that comes with a lot of faith and trust.

No God wants us to be saved, that is the priority  if we get to heaven damaged so be it, heaven is the goal not beautiful lives.

That said I agree with the bulk of your post.

Troubled, worried, I  a panic etc etc Tell God about it in detail or in unspeakable groans and sighs.

We are not used to trusting God, we're  healthy, there's  money in the bank, food in the house etc

So when life punches you in the stomach and kicks you when your down,  it is hard to trust God through ones pain and tears.

But if one has the courage to turn to God, he does give one peace of mind, he does ease the pain of worry/fears and give one the strength to face each moment by moment.

God is faithful  in the toughest of times if we trust in him.

On of the best BJ Thomas.. Doctor God

Doctor God, Doctor God
Won't you give me an appointment
Been so long since I've had a check up
Can you squeeze me in today ?

Doctor God, oh Doctor God
I know there's a long line waiting
Emergency situation
And I need you
Doctor God

Now I have come to seek the prophet, yeah
Oh
Can you tell me is he in today
Show me to the man with the healing hands
And tell him to come and take me by my hand
Don't you know I need, I need the Doctor,
Right away

Doctor God, Doctor God
Can you forgive me for the way I've been living
Taking more than giving
I'm just tired of living this way

Doctor God, Oh Doctor God
Show me that road to salvation
And lead me away from temptation
And close the door to hate
Oh, Doctor God

Matthew 11:28-30

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord,
And whose hope is the Lord.
For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters,
Which spreads out its roots by the river,
And will not fear when heat comes;
But its leaf will be green,
And will not be anxious in the year of drought,
Nor will cease from yielding fruit.

Hi,  Seems to me God is Holy - perfect; God cannot abide that which  is not holy - perfection too. I don't think God will see any that are to be with Him,  his Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit,  for all eternity as damaged.

The shed blood soaked into the earth, as Jesus took on all the damage, the sin against God of those foreknown and predestined to be with the Godhead for eternity, has washed all those called  by the Holy Spirit that heed that specific call. Therefore all are perfect in God's sight, acceptable only as  being perfected by the perfect sacrifice willingly made by Jesus; His doing  of His father's will.

I just don't see any being damaged that are saved out to reside with God. Literally Jesus' sacrifice has it covered.

ps, my life is made "beautiful" even now, by the will of the Holy Spirit serving to bring awareness to me of Jesus' sacrifice that makes me acceptably and perfectly  washed white as snow.

By damage I'm referring to our physical and mental state here on earth.

For many the Christian life involves real physical suffering, hardship etc we are not promised an easy life as Christians and we can be/are damaged by that experience.

"My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials,  knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience.  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.  If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.  But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.  For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;  he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways."  James

I don't think my corruptible  in the flesh body will have any place for concern to me when I am absent from it and present with my Lord.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
