The generation told to watch for all the signs in the Olivet discourse

As the Lord in Luke 21, Mark 13, and Matthew 24, tells the generation who will be present when all the signs in the Olivet discourse become manifest; before the end of all current world governments under Satan come to their end, and the Lord commences to reign to watch for these signs;--Which of these (single generation) signs can we then say have recently occurred, or are occurring? 

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Mark 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done.

Luke 21:32 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass away, till all be fulfilled.

I think none. Others have said Jesus was speaking to wider in scope and increased intensity from what we have seen over the last 2000 years.

While you may be right about none of the signs described in the Olivet discourse having yet occurred; one sign that I do see currently occurring is governments economies throughout the world are commencing to collapse. Once some of these countries economies collapse, I believe the tribulation period described in the Olivet discourse will then commence. This happened in Germany, when the Weimar republic's economy collapse, which as a result brought Hitler into the picture. In order to alleviate the great unemployment situation resulting from Germany's pre WWII economic collapse, Hitler initiated the murdering of various groups of peoples.

Agreed. Almost certainly in 2025. Governments throughout Europe, for example -- Germany, France, and Spain in particular:

Another sign Jesus spoke of is "false christs": that is, in the literal meaning of the term, false anointed ones. We see such rulers now in China's Xi, Russia's Putin, and Turkey's Erdogan, to name a few of the more important nationalist messianic-type leaders. These ultra-egoic nationalists, in a time of world economic collapse, will be the drivers of "ethnos [ethnic groups]against ethnos," another of the Olivet prophesied signs.

It is still the time of the building of the Body of Christ. However just before God deals with the Russian Federation on the mountains of Israel we will be caught away.

The generation from Israel becoming a nation in 1948 till the rapture, (early 2025) plus 7 years will see all these things fulfilled. (2032)

Government collapse isn't listed. What are you referring to?

In addition to European nations becoming unstable now,--China and Brazil also appear to be in trouble. 2025 looks will be interesting.

I agree that it is still the time of the building of the Body of Christ. I do, however, also believe in the tribulation of the righteous described in the Olivet discourse that is to precede the abomination of desolations 7 year period.  I think that as many nations economies today are commencing to collapse, that we will then see some of these nations initiating programs targeting certain groups of people. The Lord does say in the Olivet discourse that even family members will be turning in other family members unto their deaths. And all this happening prior to the abomination of desolations appearance, standing where he ought not.

You are correct that government collapse is not specifically listed;---but you have to ask yourself how nations are going to get to the point where they are initiating wars, along with many rumors of wars, as are listed? And why will family members be turning in other family members unto their deaths--if things aren't collapsing with conditions terrible? If these are to be the worst of times that mankind has ever experienced; --then how could nations not be in dire straits?

I have thought about that. Conditions are terrible and regular order is collapsing. I think the reason is the one over which so many wars have been fought: resources. The old "You have it, I want it, give it to me or I take it." 

This is compounded by scarcity. So I think scarcity of resources will be the goad. It will be even worse when daily needs are affected. 

"There will be famines and earthquakes in various places"

"There will be great earthquakes, famines, and pestilences in various places"

Natural disasters and pestilence create scarcity. If these are widespread whole nations are starving and suffering; then they go take what they need hence, war. 

But I don't see them as the worst times. These things are called birth pains. The worst comes after the A of D:

"For those will be days of tribulation unseen from the beginning of God’s creation until now, and never to be seen again."

So terrible that no one would be left alive if God didn't stop it.
