Revelation 18:3

For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.

Your theory cannot apply to Jerusalem 70 AD on this verse alone.

Rev 18:24, Matt 23:35-36, Lk 11:51-51.

These verses can only apply to Jerusalem and fulfill the prophecies of Jesus.

----

Rev 18:2, "Babylon the great is fallen", and then describes the desolation, of Jerusalem as seen in the 85-96 AD ish writing.

------

Rev 18:3, This could be true of many cities. In the context of 85-96 AD it was not Rome because v.2 shows that the city woman had already fallen at the time of writing.

No disrespect, but I find your position and response unconvincing.

Okay, convince me as to what the truth is about the Rev 17-18 woman.

The beast is Rome. The woman is Jerusalem in 96 AD..

What do you think?

"For all nations " ( v.3)

Revelation 18:23

And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

" for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived."

Please tell me how you would spin this to make it fit with the fall of Jerusalem in 70 AD?

In other words I'm over in Asia in 70 AD. What does Jerusalem mean to me?

But there is: Psalms 2:7-9, Psalms 110:2-6, Isaiah 2:2-4, Zechariah 14:16-21, +

We are not talking about the Eternal Kingdom, but the Kingdom that Jesus will have when He Returns, His reward for the sacrifice He made at His first Advent.  Proved by how Jesus will hand the Kingdom back to God; AFTER He has reigned for a thousand years. 1 C0r 15:24-28, Revelation 20:4b

People who think its all over when Jesus returns, are wrong and deny Jesus His reward.

Keras, Christ's reward is salvation to His people, complete at that day, soul and body. The only thing that will be " all over" is this foolishness of a continuation of this sin cursed earth, a teaching that came from  a  satanic religion  (which believes that this world is their forever dominion) and to therefore subvert the Christian Church in order to help them accomplish their world government/ Satan temple worship. God has a name for it in His Word: STRONG DELUSION.

My hope is that God may allow others of like mind regarding this deception to get hold of the Christians that have put their hope in a nation of people rather than JESUS CHRIST.

Isaiah 62:11-12

Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

[12]And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

A city not forsaken.....sounds like new Jerusalem, the city Abraham was looking for:

Hebrews 11:10

For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

The redeemed of the Lord:

Isaiah 51:5-6,11

My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.

( Notice the reward of salvation)

[6]Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

( Salvation forever, good bye old earth)

[11]Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.

( EVERLASTING JOY.)

You said: " Proved by how Jesus will hand the Kingdom back to God;"

This is kinda silly. Jesus is going to give the kingdom back to Himself?

There is ONE high God, the Father and Jesus acknowledged that many times.

It is your 'kinda silly' beliefs which makes 1 Cor 15:24-25 into a confusion.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
