I take it you are changing the subject from what was said within the video about his being influenced by Evangelical Pentecostal  leaders? Might you acknowledge that the video does indeed state he is being influenced by Pentecostalists? ??? I didn't state it the video did, starting at the 2.58 minute mark. Whether true or not is yet another subject.

Personally I am not influenced one way or another by any person's faith. I  trust totally in the faith of Jesus. I trust in His faith alone. To follow a man any man based upon an understanding of his faith  is to be sorely disappointed at some point when the person fails or falls. That is one of the great lessons of life, that when a shepherd fails the sheep will scatter.

Those that raise up  various preachers/leaders to great heights as example  simply set up a much steeper deeper fall for those that have been so raised up, their followers become severely delusioned, some never recovering.

Be careful to exalt Christ Jesus alone! He is God he never disappoints, only He is worthy.

Can Pentecostals and their leaders be a Christian?  I know they can.... whosoever will. Jesus died for all and all who accept Him as their Savior and Lord are Christians. Including Trump. Only God knows his heart. By the way I'm not Pentecostal. But, I have some Christian friends that are.

I don't follow man. I follow and worship Jesus. And I also rejoice when I hear of others following Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Only Jesus  is who we should follow and worship.

I have seen in the past in the political world others supporting Democrats and I never called it worshiping. It's supporting. There is a big difference.  So, if I support President Trump and someone other  than a Democrat I'm worshiping them? I don't think so. There is a big difference between supporting a political person and worshiping them. I have seen some of the same things you are talking about when Democrats were in office. Is it not the same?

Only God knows my heart and He knows I follow and worship Him alone!! Even if I support Trump. He's not the only President I have supported. I also rejoice  when someone comes to Christ and accepts Him as their Lord and Savior.

So the writer has him is going toward being evangelical Pentecostal is that right? The image of POTUS doing a Holy Spirit shuffle on  a Truth Social post crossed my mind as being just a tad humorous. I guess I can rely  on Franklln Graham to straighten him out if it happens.

Well, at least we can say you are consistent, I give you that......
If you make it to heaven and see Trump, I think you will still doubt him.
If you meet king David there, would you give him a piece of your mind about his failings?

Trump lives in a glass house. The Public knows when he spits on the side walk. Imagine, if you can.
What would you feel if we all knew all about you, Neighbor, all those sins you personally regret, not made public.
Think on that...
For myself, I would feel utter shame.        Brother..           And, Old age (for me) is no excuse.

I personally do not put Trump on any pedestal. For sure.  I agree with you that everybody will eventually let you down.
But have you considered your remarks here about Trump. What if.......?

Well Teddy I'm a Christian and not a Christian Nationalist. I support Trump also. It appears that you only want to see the negative in President Donald Tump. What if only others saw the negative in your life and other people's lives. Then we are even with Trump? As Chrisitans we are all held to the same standards including you, me and President Trump. We are all in need of Jesus to save us.

I don't really see a lot of positive in him when framing him as a Christian. It's not like he's just shown up a year or two ago and no one knew anything about him. He has demonstrated a typical pattern of behaviour since The Apprentice days.  I have not witnessed any growth or maturity. If anything, his worst traits are on full display right now.

I do question the fealty that evangelicals, in particular, have given to Trump. There is an almost cynical "ends justifying the means" attitude, and a large amount of hypocrisy.

As to you not being a CN, I never levelled that against you. I said that the CN people are heavily involved and it suits their agenda to frame him as Christian. These people are actually far more troubling to me than Trump.

As far as the  Episcopalian pastor she had an agenda even before the start. The people in charge had an agenda also.  As in the days Lot.. But, she only gave her opinions.

Even if what she said was not right (and I listened to it - it was not outrageous for a pastor to say what she said in that context), but the childish response to it is emblematic of everything that shows Trump to be boorish, childish, and a malignant narcissist.

When you don't live US you don't get the clear picture. Only what Liberal News tells you.

When you live outside of the US, you do get a different view - but we get all the same media you can view, be it left, centre or right. This auto-assumption that I, or other critics, are only consuming what we want to here is unwarranted. You don't know that. I rarely watch CBC or Global, the big Canadian channels. I spent a lot of time on Twitter, so I got a lot of right-wing media. I've abandoned that place since the open racists and neo-Nazis started to invade my timeline.

If you assume right-wing media like Fox, OAN etc. do not share the same issues that CNN, NBC etc. do, then that could be a blind spot.

We're suppose to celebrate when someone come to Christ. And you have two people saying President Trump is a Christian. God is our Judge and he knows our heart. We can't say someone isn't because we aren't God.

That's fair enough, and I think I even expressed that in my post, which you may have missed. I just don't really see much convincing fruit of the Spirit on display which is how we are can at least make a general appraisal.

Eg.

Hi, Just what "remarks" are you referencing? I simply watched a video, noted the commentator's statement that Trump is influenced by evangelical Pentecostals.

Only God knows somebodies heart ,the first will be last and the last will be first. We're told to pray for our authorities. We all have a weak and strong points and God is not finished with me,DT or you yet.....

Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;Phil 2:12

Thought it was time for a 'Quick to listen, slow to speak' moment....

The good man brings good things out of his good store of treasure, and the evil man brings evil things out of his evil store of treasure.

I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak,

for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”
Matthew 12:35-37

I apply this to myself, and consider. Lest I forget.    Again, how I judge, I'll be judged.  God's words.

    • You are coming up higher in this season – above the assignments of character assassination and verbal arrows sent to manage you, contain you, and derail your purpose. Where you have had your dreams and sleep robbed, as well as your peace and clarity robbed – leaving you feeling foggy, confused, and heavy – God is, right now, bringing freedom back -- now you will clearly see the smoke and mirrors that were set to distract you and you will disengage.

Right now God is declaring a "no access zone" around you, and your enemies will no longer have any entry point into your life. Oil is being poured over you to restore the years that the locust ate and give you back your passion. This is where you will feel a fresh roar begin to erupt from your inner being, and a call to leave the trenches behind and begin your odyssey in your Christ calling moving you to bear fruit that remains as you minister to and disciple others into their Christ identity.

This is where you leave the trenches and scale the mountain to fight from a different place, from victory, from peace, and from rest. Now watch as God leads you up higher above all the noise, above all the chaos, and shows you where you have been seated all along with Him in heavenly places where you are UNTOUCHABLE. This is where you leave the soul fight, and the mind battle, and learn to fight differently.

You will know how to live like an eagle and lead others to the same place of safety and protection that God led you to, which broke you out of the silent prison you were in. Put your war boots on and get ready to fight back! Refuse to lay down -- get out of bed and rebuke what is coming at you. Remember where you are seated and live from that place.

Acts 1:8 - “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses … to the end of the earth.”

    • Understanding the Enemy!

I thought I write about the flip side of a topic, and how to recognize the attempts of the enemy to destroy lives and how you can walk in His victory!

For the Apostle Paul taught us not to be ignorant of enemy's tactics and strategies.

2 Corinthians 2:112  Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

So often, we can learn lessons by learning and playing "devil's" advocate.  When we read this passage,

Mar 3:26  And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
Mar 3:27  No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strongman; and then he will spoil his house.

Here we learn a lesson that in order to plunder one's house you must first BIND up the strongman.  While we realize in this particular passage this is referring to God binding up the strongman (Satan) and this is how Satan's house is plundered.  But if you carefully analyze the enemy -- you realize that he uses the same tactics on us!  Your house cannot be plundered -- unless you are first bound.   And then Satan can plunder your house!

    • Abraham and Issac: Pictures of the Resurrection, Part 2
      Shalom everyone,

As we continue this series the next obvious sign of the resurrection in the Old Testament is the sign of Isaac and Abraham.

Gen 22:1  After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, "Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
Gen 22:2  He said, "Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you."

So God "tests" Abraham and as a perfect picture of the coming sacrifice of God's only begotten Son (Yeshua - Jesus) God instructs Issac to go and sacrifice his son, Issac.  Where does he say to offer him?  On Moriah -- the exact location of the Temple Mount.
